A Depressing Offer
Chapter 5: A Depressing Offer
*****
The shorter man was stopped cold in his tracks as he saw a familiar beauty waiting for him by his car.
“What do you want?” he growled.
“I want to know your answer,” the red haired woman stepped into the light
“I still have a year before I have to concede to your plans.”
“Now really, Hiei, do you think that I would let you off that easy? There is a limit to when you are allowed to marry me.”
“Allowed? What about your money? I thought that you wanted half of my earnings.”
“Hm, Hiei, Hiei, Hiei. Sweet naïve, Hiei,” the redhead tsked as she approached the business man. “I have you right where I want you. You are desperate to get your hands on your Uncle’s money, and I am one of the few people that you trust to get it with.”
“You’re getting married?” a hurt voice had them both spinning to look at another redhead.
“I… no, what-what are you doing here?”
“Who are you?” Mukuro scowled.
“I thought that I was Hiei’s girlfriend…” beautiful eyes started to water.
“Kurama? You never told me that you had a girlfriend… Doesn’t matter, with your personality and her looks, I doubt that you’ll last as a couple,” she shook her short orange hair out of her face and walked away.
“Who’s the bitch?” he raised an eyebrow as the woman disappeared.
“An ex girlfriend, what are you doing here?”
“Apparently catching my boyfriend getting marriage proposals from another woman,” he wiped at another tear.
“Hn,” Hiei scoffed.
“Come on,” he laughed suddenly linking their arms, “let’s go get something to eat.”
“Where?”
“Mm, how about we get take out and go to your place?”
“Why my place?”
“Because I’m sure two people can actually fit in your place.”
“What do you want to eat?” he led the taller man to the black Lexus.
“Whatever’s on the way to your place is fine with me. How about some fast Chinese food?”
“Sure.”
“Great,” he settled in the passenger seat, and gave Hiei a small kiss on the cheek when he was settled in the driver seat.
“What… what did you do that for?”
“I like you,” he planted a wet one of his thin lips, “besides, I think that we have an audience that we want to put a good show on for.”
“Mukuro?”
“Hiding behind a pillar. She must really like you.”
“No, she really loves my money. Now, about that show we should be putting on,” he smirked, and held Kurama's soft cheek in his callused palm as he leaned in closer.
“Mm, how far are you willing to go while we’re in here?” Kurama teased, brushing their lips against one another softly coxing Hiei’s to loosen up and play a little.
“Not that far.”
“Darn,” he pouted, but continued their play until the woman finally gave up and left.
“I thought she’d never leave,” Hiei breathed when Kurama sat up almost ten minutes later.
“Actually she left a few minutes ago, I was just having too much fun,” he kissed Hiei once more.
“Idiot,” Hiei scoffed, but started the car, and the two were on their way to Hiei’s large apartment.
“I didn’t expect you to live in a condo,” Kurama followed Hiei up the stairs to his room.
“Sorry to be a disappointment,” he scowled.
“No, it’s nothing like that, it’s just unexpected is all I’m saying. I was kind of expecting the number one bachelor in the city to live in some kind of mansion.”
“Hn, I have no use for a very large place when it’s just me,” he flicked on the light, revealing the rather poorly decorated rooms. It wasn’t badly decorated… just not decorated at all. There was a single picture of Hiei with a young girl, about the same height as him.
“Who’s that?” Kurama approached the picture slowly.
“My sister, Yukina.”
“Ah, she’s the one who gave you that necklace?”
“Yes, she received it from our aunt… I never met her.”
“Because you were separated at birth?”
“How much did I tell you when I was drunk?”
“Not as much as most people, but it was a lot more interesting than their stories. Most of my customers ramble on about why they hate work, and how they’d like to see their boss dead.”
“It would be interesting if I had said that seeing as to how I am my own boss.”
“Yes, but my favorites are the ones who come to complain about their wives and husbands or boyfriends and girlfriends. They like to ask me what is wrong with their relationships.”
“What do you usually tell them?”
“I try to recommend that they stop spending their money on another person to grope and feel up,” he laughed.
“Hn,” Hiei scoffed as he placed the bag of Chinese food on the coffee table in front of the couch he had led Kurama to sit in front of the television.
“Ooh,” Kurama grabbed the remote, “do you have cable.”
“Wait,” he made to grab the remote quickly, “don’t.”
“Hiei?” the redhead gaped at the show, “You watch cartoons?”
“Sometimes I can’t sleep and the mind numbing shows calm me into slumber, okay?” he switched to a movie channel.
“Oh! I love this movie!”
“It’s a sappy romance.”
“So?” Kurama pouted as he slid closer to his ‘boss’, curling his long legs under his butt.
“Hang on, I have to go check on something, you get everything set up, okay? If you want there are plates somewhere in the kitchen,” he nodded toward the next room and went into one of the doors.
“What are you doing?” he asked when he sat back down in the couch.
“Getting comfortable,” he leaned against the shorter boy. “Mm,” he took a bite from his carton of food, “this is good here, try it.”
Hiei looked at the food being held up to his lips with chopsticks, “Um,” he tried to ask what it was, but the piece of chicken, as he found out, was shoved into his mouth suddenly. “Hn, good,” he nodded, taking up his fried rice.
“I like this,” Kurama said out of nowhere when they were half way through their meal.
“What?” he asked mostly because he knew Kurama wanted him to ask.
“Just you and me, hanging out.”
“You don’t have to work tonight?”
“Nope, I got the night off. I’m just yours for the evening.”
“Hn,” he couldn’t hold back a small smile as Kurama rubbed his cheek against his shoulder lovingly. A small kiss was placed on his neck as Kurama placed his remaining food on the table as well as taking the carton from Hiei’s hands before completely climbing into his lap.
“You look good enough to eat,” he captured Hiei’s lips.
“Hn,” Hiei pulled away, “Kurama, stop.”
“Why?”
“Not now.”
“What’s wrong?” he nuzzled Hiei’s button nose.
“I’m thinking about things.”
“Like me?”
“You’re in there,” he nodded.
“Mm, I hope it doesn’t include clothing,” he smirked, starting to pull off Hiei’s tie and playing with the button up shirt.
“Stop,” he held Kurama's soft hands in one of his own.
“Mm,” Kurama pouted, completely unnerved, “why?”
“Just… not now, okay?” he ran a hand over the smooth cheek.
“Hiei? What’s going on?”
“I just… I’m a little confused right now.”
“… fine,” he settled on the couch, resting his head in Hiei’s lap while they finished watching the movie. “Are you done thinking yet?” he turned to look up at his boss, who had apparently been staring at him the whole time. A light pink settled the spiky haired man’s cheeks.
“No, I’m even more confused than before.”
“About what?”
“… There’s an inheritance that my uncle left me when he died a half a year ago under a certain condition.”
“What condition?”
“I have to get married.”
“Oh…” he sat up, “and it doesn’t count if it’s to a guy?”
“A legal marriage,” he nodded.
“Damn,” he reached to hold Hiei’s hand, “You’re rich enough aren’t you? Do you really need that money? I mean look at the way you live… um, let’s go with the way that you could live.”
“Hn,” Hiei smirked a little.
“You could probably afford more than all the comforts of the world. Think about it, a small house, we’ll only need one bedroom, two if we have guests. We can get a large backyard so I can grow my roses…”
“You grow roses?”
“Well… it’s always been a dream of mine,” he smiled, leaning on Hiei gently, kissing his cheek softly.
“Hn, you like roses then?”
“They’re my favorite flower.”
“How many men actually have a favorite flower?”
“The kind that like other men?” he giggled.
“Hn, makes sense.”
“So what’s your favorite flower?”
“Ha, ha,” he rolled his eyes.
“I’m serious, we can grow some of them next to my roses. Oh, a little arch with vines to mark the entrance to our home would be really nice with a red cobble stone road that leads to a little hide away area for us outside, something small like a swinging-bench for us to relax on when the weather’s really nice.
“Inside, we can have a nice large bed with black satin sheets. We’ll have a bunch of scented candles to decorate the room. I’m not sure which is better, thick lush carpeting or beautiful stained wood?”
“Wood, so if we spill anything…”
“Oh! Good point,” Kurama giggled, loving that Hiei was finally having fun with him and his fantasy world. “The bathroom is next with a large tub for us to soak in, hundreds of bath oils and bubbles, doesn’t that sound perfect? We’ll keep fluffy robes and towels in there at all times. It should be tiled in… light blue?”
Hiei shook his head.
“White, we should stick to the basics, I agree.”
“What’s next?”
“The kitchen should always be stocked with chocolate and strawberry syrups and whipped cream along with cherries and honey.”
“And ice cream.”
“Sweetie, I think that you’re missing the point of the game here.”
“I just like ice cream.”
“Okay, ice cream,” he smiled, “You’ll probably want a study, right? Well, we can have one as long as there is a nice big desk, oh, and maybe a fireplace for when we want to sit and relax and read during the winter.”
“What about the living room?”
“Well… we’ll need some place that might not be used for sex every other day, so we should have the TV and radio and a comfy couch in there for guests if those ever become necessary.”
Hiei chuckled softly. Oddly enough Kurama was right, he could easily afford all of it without a second though or another day at work, but it was too simple a solution to a large problem.
“Hiei?”
Kurama's voice broke him from his thoughts.
“You do know that I was kidding, right?”
“What do you mean?”
“We can live right here,” he wrapped both arms around Hiei’s neck and cuddled as close as possible.
“Why do you want to live with me so much?”
“Because… I’ve never felt this kind of closeness with anyone. I feel like I can tell you anything and you’ll actually listen and give somewhat of a care as to how I feel about what I just said.”
“Hn.”
“Hiei,” his voice was so soft and sensual as he slowly slid his tongue into Hiei’s mouth, easing his hands into the spiky hair so he could pull Hiei on top of him, letting their bodies meld together as well as their mouths.
His body acted on its own as he pulled the redhead tighter against his body. Overpowering tongues fought to gain dominance, but since Hiei’s hands were suddenly up the front of Kurama's shirt as well as down the back of his pants, groping the perfect, round ass, Kurama moaned and lost the battle.
Pulling away with a soft smirk, Hiei made a line of kisses down the heaving chest, rubbing against it with his nose and started to pull the cloth out of the way so he could attack the very tempting pink nipples with his mouth.
“Mm, Hiei,” Kurama murmured into the spiky hair that was tickling his chin.
With a heavy blush, the shorter man pulled away slowly, “Um…”
“What’s wrong?” he let out a disappointed groan.
“…nothing…” he sat up and moved to the far end of the couch, only to be followed by the pouting redhead.
“Tell me, why don’t you want to make love with me?”
“Make love?”
“You know; sex, intercourse? Hiei,” he grabbed the man’s cheeks and forced him to look him in the eyes, and asked very slowly, “Don’t you want to fuck me?”
Hiei’s entire face went an amazing shade of red that rivaled the crimson locks of the stripper, which made Kurama giggle uncontrollably.
“You’re so cute and innocent. Are you a virgin?”
“I am not… n-not that it’s any of your business,” he couldn’t believe he was stuttering. He really wasn’t sure if he liked who he was when he was around the playful redhead.
“You didn’t like it did you? It was that red haired bitch, hm? You want to know why you didn’t like it?” his smile had Hiei feeling over heated, “because you want a guy’s ass.”
“N…no… that’s not it…”
“Mm, let me prove it to you,” he crawled on top and started kissing the thin lips while he rubbed his ass against Hiei’s hardening member, letting their restrained members touch for small amounts of time. He managed to pull strained groans from the both of them as he nibbled on Hiei’s ear, riding his lap faster.
“Kurama,” Hiei barely managed to gasp, “Stop.”
“Why? You like it don’t you?” he sat calmly on the strong thighs, slightly panting.
“…That… that’s not it…”
“Are you scared that you do like it?” he lifted Hiei’s chin so their eyes met tenderly.
“A little,” he managed to grumble.
“Hiei, baby, you’re gay, deal with it, okay, love?”
“I’m not gay… I can’t be.”
“Why do you say that? Because, you know, your body says different,” he stroked a hand over the semi-hard member in the restraining black pants.
“I’ve just never been attracted to a guy before.”
“You were attracted to me. Maybe you like guys that look like girls. How do you know that there haven’t been other people that you’ve been attracted to that didn’t turn out to be boys that you thought were girls?”
“…” before he could say anything Kurama had him in another long and loving, tongue-filled kiss. He could feel his heart starting to race as his mouth was completely over taken by the seemingly sexually frustrated redhead. “Why do you want to do this with me?”
“What do you mean?”
“You have hundreds of others wanting you with more skills and abilities at your work.”
“So?”
“Why don’t you go have more fun with them?”
“I don’t want to,” he nearly laughed, kissing Hiei’s neck tenderly.
“Why?”
“Hiei, I’ve been doing this for so long, and… I haven’t felt very aroused in a very long time. There’s something about you that makes me horny, and makes me want to jump you every chance that I can get.”
“I don’t understand.”
“Neither do I, truthfully,” he found Hiei’s hand blindly, and interlaced their fingers tightly.
“Then why?”
“I… I just really like you… There’s nothing more to it than that.”
“Hn.”
“How do you feel?” he asked, running a finger up and down Hiei’s chest slowly.
“Over heated, actually,” he tried to get the redhead to move off of him, but Kurama started to just ride him again. “Oh, Kurama, stop, please.”
“Did you say please?” he raised an eyebrow.
“Yes, now stop,” he managed to push the horny man off of him.
“You remember what I asked you in the car when you picked me up on Sunday?”
“Yes.”
“So, tell me, Hiei, what do you feel like doing?”
“I… I’m tired.”
Kurama let out a frustrated sigh as Hiei started to get up.
“I’m going to change, but you can sleep in the bed if you want,” Kurama instantly perked, “I’ll sleep on the couch. Are you okay?” he turned to see the redhead sprawled on the floor after hearing a loud thud.
“Hiei, why do you keep pushing me away?” he straightened himself, “I understand that you’re new to this, but you…”
“Kurama… no… I… I did some research on you.”
“You what!”
“I’m sorry, but I had to know…”
“So you found out…?”
