AN: ok, fourth chapter, man that thing with the second chapter was annoying! I totally freaked out. I was all "I'M 14 YEARS OLD!! I'M NOT A COMPUTER WIZ WHO CAN MAGICALLY FIX THIS!!". hehe yeah, then I tried reposting it without the first dealy part with the thing, and it worked.
OH! and also, it was suggested that I pair up Yusuke and Hiei, at first I was all, 'uhhh... I dont know.." but then I thought about it, I had never really considered that pairing much but hmmm... it does seem to be a possibility.. oh well, Tell me what you think!! :P

Also, I am going to start this chapter off with Karasu, and I just want the public to know, Karasu is supposed to have wierd interesting past, that will help the plot along. That is why Kurama was thinking about those rumors around town. This isnt just a thing where they meet, have a few minor confrontations, then hook up, maybe I'll write on like that if you want me too, but not this one, SORRY! *sobs that everyone hates her*

~chapter 4~


The moonlight shone through the windows of the carriage, reflecting on clouded amethyst orbs, causing them to light up almost as if they were glowing.

They were distracted, not even noticing the light caressing the smooth snow white skin beneath them. The small sounds of the clip-clop from the horse was mere whisper that was unable to break through the thoughts that were so loud, they threatened to break through into the air for all to hear.


Karasu was on his way to Ogre Estate, there was a ball that he had been invited to. The only reason these supersticious people ever invited him was out of polite, begragding obligation. They knew he was the one who provided the money for their hospital to be built, they knew he was the one who helped them out of debt, and they knew that he had more wealth than all of them combined.


He allowed a smirk to cross his usually stoic face, those poor little fools, they wanted to control him and his wealth, they used to try and introduce him to their young daughters and such in order to have more of an inside attachment to him and his fortune of unknown origin.

It didnt matter though, he saw through their plans and didnt go along with them.

The carriage pulled to a stop, as did his train of thought, and he stepped out. "I truly hope this night will be interesting"

((In Ogre Estate back with Kurama))


"I must say Kurama," said Botan "this obsession with Lord Karasu is very unhealthy"

She, Kurama, Kuwabara, Yusuke, Hiei and Yukina were gathered into a group, and their discussion had steered to Kurama's 'crow' fetish.

"Lord Karasu is very beautiful though" pointed out Yusuke, "Even if he is creepy and quite a bit older than us"

"Yusuke-chan!" scolded Yukina playfully, "beauty is only skin deep!"

"Ah! My lady Yukina! Our friendship is at an end, I cannot love a woman who loves a cliche"

They laughed at a moderate volume only to be interupted by the loud pompous doorman announcing a new arrival to the party.
"Presenting Lord Karasu Corvin of The House Of Crow!" he sound as many turned and smiled politly, a few going to greet him.

"There is our crow now" said Kuwabara, "now my friend is your chance to tell him you will not be able to make it tomorrow"

The rehead bit his lip, "I am very uncomfortable, this will be far to awkward, he actually invited me to tea and I..I .. OH! My ever loving Aunt who is so determined to make sure I suffer every second at her home"

"Now Kurama that isnt fair" said Botan, "she is probably unhappy that you are infatuated with Lord Karasu. You know what is going around about him"

"Dont tell me you believe those lies" growled Kurama bristling at the blue haired harpy

"Here he comes" said Hiei beginning to walk away and taking Yukina with him. Kuwabara followed after the cute koorime, leaving Yusuke, Botan and Kurama behind.

"Hello Shuuichi" said the dark lord, "how lovely to see you"

Kurama turned an ungodly shade of red and faced his crush, "g-good evening my l-lord" he whispered

Another song was started by the orchestra and Yusuke hastily said to Botan "May I have this dance?"
Botan complied and they left, but not before giving Kurama a very obvious wink.

Karasu smiled at this and then said "indeed, may I request the pleasure of a dance with you as well my dear Shuuichi?"

Kurama flushed even more, "with me?" he looked around and saw that many friends of the same gender had also paired up to dance as a form of amusement.
'And,' he thought to himself, 'it could give me a chance to explain to him why I cant come tomorrow...'

He smiled to the lord, "of course you may"

and with that they were on the dance floor.

((to Kurama's aunt))

"My dear, is that not your nephew with Lord Karasu?" asked Minako, one of Leiko's friends.

The sour woman turned and gasped, indded the wretched redhead was dancing with the very person she knew he had been lusting after for quite some time.

"I will put an end to this" she growled, quickly formulating a plan in her head.

((Back to Kurama and Karasu))

"My dear Shuuichi, you have been very quiet, if you did not want to dance, all you had to do was say so" said Karasu staring intently at the boy in his arms

Kurama shook his head, "no its not that," he murmered relishing in the fact that when he spoke, Karasu's hold tightened on him, "it is just that...My aunt has told me..that I am not to go to tea tomorrow..with you.." he looked away, hoping Karasu would not become angry

The crow merely smiled, he knew how Kurama looked at him, at first his only thought to the boy was that he was just like everyone else, a pawn and a ploy to get to his money and title. However this young seemed different, Karasu actually found himself looking forward to the time in the afternoon where Kurama would stop in front of his property and stare wistfully at his house.

"If you may not some tomorrow," he pulled Kurama forward so that the whole front sides of their bodies were pushing hard against eachother and whispered into his ear "then why dont you come tonight?" he concluded by drawing his smoothe velvety tounge across the fox's cheek and the began to nibble on his ear.

Kurama's eyes widened and his breathing difficulties returned with reinforcments. They were in front of every single highbred lord and lady in a four hundred mile radius, and this man who he had wanted for quite a while now was molesting him without a second thought.

Karasu's lips moved so they were sucking on his neck, and he began to rock his hips against Kurama's. The fox held back a moan, trying not to bring attention to his current situation.

Then it stopped.

He looked at Karasu with demanding eyes and saw a pair of violet eyes with amusement dancing in them. Kurama wondered for a moment what was so funny, then he looked down to see a full blown erection straing against his pants.
Karasu closed his eyes for moment, then opened them, "I will take that as a yes" He starrted to lean in for a kiss when...


{AN OH CLIFFIE!!!! in every one's FACE!!! HAHAHA!! I'm kidding, I'm not as cruel as some of you people!}

When, "OH SHUUICHI!! THERE YOU ARE!!"

Both men looked up and saw a very unwanted and unwelcome Leiko coming towards them.

"A pleasure Lord Karasu, how do you do?"

Karasu feeling interupted and impatiant replied, "I had done well, thank you"

"I see you have met my nephew!"

"Yes he is a charming boy"

"Indeed, that is how he hooked his lovely fiance"

Karasu felt his eye twitch, and he repliedin a steady voice as Kurama stared at the evil woman in horror, "fiance?"

And then, from behind Leiko appeared...JURI!!

"This is Juri, of Fish Haven she-"

"I know" said Karasu, "I do trade with her father"

He let go of Kurama and straightened out his clothes, "now if you will excuse me, I have business to attend in the morning, good night"

He left with a parting glare at Kurama.


((Outside with Karasu))

I guess he truly was just like everyone else

((Back inside))

"What are you talking about?" growled Kurama, his green orbs flashing with contempt and pent up rage

"I have decided that you no longer need be a bachelor my dear" said Leiko, baking in her triumph, "I have decicded you will marry this lovely girl" she gestured towards Juri who smiled possesivly, "which means no more nonsense about that ~Man~" she spat out the last word as if it were deadly poison, and sent Kurama over the edge.

"THAT IS NOT FOR YOU TO DECIDE YOU CONIVING LITTLE WRETCH!!"

Leiko's eyes widened, "how dare you!" she hissed as many people gathered around to see what was going on, "I am the only thing keeping you from going to prison, do you actually think that man will love you? You are an ungrateful brat, with nothing to offer!"

"HORSE SHIT!!" roared Kurama, "I AM LEAVING!!!!"

He stormed out leaving his aunt to be stormed with questions and prods for information as to what just took place.

But Kurama didnt care, he needed to get to Karasu.


{AN, ok now it is over, the chapter any way, my hands are hella tired.

so is my brain, REVIEW!! tell me what you think! condstructive criticise or whatever, its all good, JUST HELP!! I want feed back!

I know this chapter was pretty choppy, but I'm typing through a wrtier's block, and its hard.

I just couldnt bare to keep anyone waiting I felt so bad. speaking of which, there are a few evil people who need to update some stories they have! but I'm not naming anyone. like I said, REVIEW!!
