Chapter 5
I have to sit around and wait for three hours before my next class at eight. So I may as well go ahead and post something. *bored sigh*
Chapter 5
Hiei had been given two days to get the dagger for Toshio and Ada. By the late night of the first day Hiei had already managed to sneak down into the basement of Spirit World and now was trying to think of how he was going to get past the two guards and into the vault.
Hiei hid quietly and watched them for two hours. The two guards were large and appeared to be weak. But Hiei refused to believe that Yama would actually be stupid enough to have the Ammorah Dagger guarded by such weaklings. He also wanted to do this as quietly as possible. If he could get the job done without killing anyone that was how he wanted to do it. He knew one would leave for the bathroom eventually. When that happened Hiei estimated he had ten minutes at the most to get past the other guard, into the vault, grab the dagger and get the hell outta there.
After two hours of waiting he was finally rewarded for his patience. Once the larger of the two was out of earshot Hiei quickly sprinted down and knocked out the second guard with the hilt of his sword.
He crept in, grabbed the dagger after disconnecting the silent alarm and turned to leave.
‘That was way too easy.’ He thought to himself. ‘No way could Yama be this stupid. There’s gotta be something going on I don’t know about.’
Exiting the room he was proved right. The guard that had left had returned already. Reacting on instinct, Hiei slashed at the guard with the weapon he currently was holding in his hand. Which just happened to be the Ammorah Dagger.
The dagger only made a small cut on the mans cheek, barely drawing blood, but that was enough. The poison was just as deadly as Toshio had said, for the guard didn’t even have time to react before he collapsed dead.
Hiei gazed down at him His face still held its game face on, the face one wore when getting ready to attack.
Hiei stared in amazement at the dagger and the damage it had done. He had had no intention of harming anyone while he was here, let alone killing them. Hiei scowled. ‘Dammit. This is going to complicate things.’
Hiei did not plan on giving Toshio and Ada the dagger. He would just use it to get Kuwabara back safely and kill them. Then he would give it to Koenma who would then return it to his father.
A dagger like that being in the possession of a demon in demon world did not make Hiei very comfortable.
But now that Hiei had killed one of Yama’s guards he had just succeeded in fucking the whole plan up.
‘Damn. Damn. Damn.’ That was the silent mantra going through his head the whole way home.
*sigh* what time is it? <6:08> fuck. Two more hours left.
This thing was barely even two pages long. And i dont wanna post the next one yet because i havent got the chapter after it started yet. And now i dont know how i'm gonna end this. I just got Hiei into a bad situation and i have no clue how i'm gonna get him out of it.
*check clock again* <6:13> *slams head on desk* ow.
