DayDream - Chpt 4 - Seldom do we do this

Kurama let the warm water continually wash over him. What am I doing? I can't avoid him forever in the shower! He took a deep breath and turned the shower knobs to the right. With the water's previous contact on his skin now lost, goosebumps had taken the place of water droplets. He quickly retrieved the towel placed near the bath and wrap himself in it, taking a few minutes to warm up. He decided to dry his hair and used the towel to dry his hair. It was then that he saw something out of place. When he saw it, he stared for a good few seconds. Black hair... I have to somehow find out what happened. I know Hiei is not the type to talk. I have to come up with something... He hurried to finish his sanitary needs so he could ask his Koorime object of affection a few questions.

Hiei sat in the kitsune's room, but not patiently. He had an urge to pick up he sword and slash the bird chirping outside. Time to think was certainly not a blessing right now. He remembered thos ewords from Kurama's mouth last night :

“....ehehe.. Mmmm.. Koi...”

“Baka, shouldn’t say such things. Especially because your ningen body cant even sustain that much alcohol”

Without really realizing what he was doing, he reached a hand up to touch his shoulder. The angel had put his head there last night. An unfamiliar warmth had come close to him, and he allowed it. The fox's touch provided such comfort. Heh. But while it might be special to you, the Youko's promiscuous life is known by almost all He mentally winced at the comment as it popped into his head. He knew. He definately knew about the rumors and all the talk about the Youko. It was then that another thought had popped into his head.

So what if the alcohol had just brought out the Youko in him.. And it was just nothing serious.

But those words still rang in his mind and bounced off the walls to make themselves known again and again.

“....ehehe.. Mmmm.. Koi...”

Hiei knew he shouldn't feel like this. What did he need from love? Love and kindness had obviously not done a whole lot for him. Love was not the thing that made the Koorime throw him off the island. Love was not the thing that helped him achieved such great power. And love certainly did not help him conquer the dragon. But a little after he met this Suichi Minamino character, he began to feel an empty place in his heart he thought was long frozen. He heard the bathroom door click, and felt a weight lifted off his chest. But that was quickly replaced by another as he saw the one person that was running through his mind.

"Hiei, I am not sure how to start saying this..."

"Stalling." Please continue to do so.

"Well, I was kind of wondering how..."

"we were sleeping together?"

"WHAT?!" Kami-sama. My.-

-"WE WERE IN THE SAME BED." Hiei cut in, giving Kurama one of his glares, but certainly not the most lethal.

"Oh.. Ano. See that's what I wanted to ask you about." He stared off to the nearby closet, then eyes moving towards the window.

"You were drunk. I brought you home."

"That's it?"

Every inch of Hiei's body screamed NO! but out of his mouth came only one signature sound. "Hn."

A/N : I hope this was a bit longer, but upon further reviewing.. I do realize it's not. I just can't seem to be talented enough to pull a GOOD long chapter out. Please excuse an spelling errors you see here, I didn't use word processing ^^;, feeling a bit lazy. But here we go finally an update from my lazy ass. I found that I actually like jsut typing this from the top of my head rather than writing it first. Please do review and I'll try ot make my next update more timely!!! =]
