Hiei's Harem - Pt. 14 - Changing

Scene 4 ------------ Hiei’s Ravine


* Hiei is still embracing Sarista after their most recent round of intimate passion. Sarista smiles wearily as Hiei nuzzles her neck.


Sarista- At least.. you’re more relaxed.. now.

Hiei- Relaxed.. doesn’t mean the rest of it.. goes away, Woman.

Sarista- I know.. But I also know that you’ll face this challenge like you have all the others.. I still think you need to go see her, though.

Hiei- She’ll be fine where I put her.

Sarista- Is that the shrine in Human World where your sister is?

Hiei- Hn.. But that stays between us.


* Hiei raises his head to look away curiously a moment then sits up away from his naked mate with a growl.


Hiei- Oh what the h--- is he still doing here?


* Hiei snatches up his cloak and throws it on quickly as he stands. He looks back down at Sarista.


Hiei- You stay here and rest.. I want us to leave for the fortress in the morning so gather your reserves.

Sarista- Sure. It won’t harm the babies if we travel slow, you know, Daddy.


* Hiei hesitates, then nods and leaves the cave. He glances around at his pack that’s scattered around the clearing habitually, then goes over to the flat rock where Dagon is just being dealt into Troiyoku and Silis’ game of cards.


Hiei- Don’t get comfortable, bird. Why the h--- are you still here?

Dagon- I heard the good news from.. uhmm..

Hiei- I know all about you and Kuma.


* He cuffs Dagon. Then wonders why he suddenly feels so playful with the Crow.


Hiei- Relax, baka. Both of you deserve each other. So why are you up here and not in the village with him?


* Dagon looks at his hand of cards, frowns, then tosses them back onto the table as Hiei moves away toward the vine hammock. Dagon hurries after him.


Dagon- I flew up to.. uhmm.. Well, to say congratulations, of course.. again.


* Hiei lays down in the hammock and studies the nervous male. For some reason he doesn’t think it has to do with his greater power this time.


Hiei- Hn. These were the last of them that were close.. Now there’s only the mare and.. one other..


* Hiei glances away to where Eboni is settling one of her daughters into the basket Lily had made for them. He sniffs around as discreetly as he can, but the scent he’s catching isn’t coming from any of his females.


Dagon- I bet you’re relieved that spring is over, huh?


* He follows his nose back up to Dagon. The tall, dark-haired male shifts nervously.


Hiei- Hn.. Now I can concentrate on.. moving them to the fortress.

Dagon- Yes! That’s why I’m here.. I came to help you get them..

Hiei- Crow.. Shut up.


* Dagon looks back down at Hiei pensively.


Hiei- Is the complex too much responsibility for you?


* Dagon is silent for a couple moments, then raises a hand to rub one of his ears. Hiei nearly swoons as the Crow’s scent swirls around him.


Dagon- Truthfully.. Too much.. distance.. from you, Master.


* Hiei slowly sits up as he inhales more deeply. He doesn’t resist his desire to wrap his arms around Dagon and draw him closer to nuzzle his face into his midsection.


Hiei- D---.. I thought you said.. spring was over.


* Dagon flushes then shrugs.


Dagon- I was a.. late hatcher.. I always hit my heat just after summer comes.

Hiei- Hn. Is that why you’re still.. unclaimed?


* Dagon tilts his head down at Hiei who forces himself back some. The Crow reaches up to pull his black leather vest off one shoulder to reveal Hiei’s mark to him.


Dagon- Did you forget again?


* The sight of his mark brings all the memories back to Hiei of when he finally decided to end the cat-and-mouse game they’d been playing since they met and just claim the Crow. Vividly. He feels his instincts urging him to take action, but manages to keep as much control as he can.


Hiei- Are you a bearer?

Dagon- No.. Are you?


* The Koorime growls, not even sure why the question irks him.


Hiei- That’s none of your..!


* Hiei quiets, then sighs and lays back in the hammock more comfortably.


Hiei- Hn. I am.. But I have Minoro and he.. took care of that problem.


* Dagon nods his complete understanding.


Dagon- Well, with bird species it’s not unusual for all males to experience heats.. But as far as I know, there are no male bearers among birds.. We just.. present ourselves to our Alphas and let them..

Hiei- Ahh, I see.. So that’s why you’re up here and not all over the Lynx.


* Dagon nods timidly again.


Dagon- Yes, sir.. But you don’t have to..


* Hiei pats the hammock beside him. Dagon hesitates, then settles down into the hammock cautiously. Hiei half rolls to lean on an elbow and look down at the handsome male.


Hiei- Your scent is driving me crazy. I can’t deny that, bird.

Dagon- You’ve had that affect on me.. since we first met.


* Hiei chuckles. He relaxes and allows himself to slip into the mood.


Hiei- Ever do it in a hammock before?

Dagon- No.. Have you?


* Hiei smirks.


Hiei- It’s become one of me and my Kitsune’s favorite places.


* He then leans to begin nuzzling and nipping at Dagon’s throat.


Hiei- Besides her garden..


* He continues answering intermittenly between his nips and nuzzlings.


Hiei- And the cave.. and the Waterfall Meadow.. and..

* The rest becomes indiscernable. Hiei’s words become merely moans as his hands busy themselves with removing their garments.
