Hiei's Harem - Pt. 12 - Dominating

Scene 4 ------------ The Main Cave


* As soon as Hiei lands in the clearing he looks around. It surprises him a bit to find the area empty. Before he can lift the ward from his jagan, though, Shironji materializes in front of him.


Hiei- What is it now?

Shironji- I have a message for you from Dagon.


* The Ninjini hands him a message orb.


Hiei- Is it important?

Shironji- He said to tell you to ‘just listen to it, d--- it..’ His words, of course, not mine, Master.

Hiei- Figures. Everything is such a drama for that bird.. Fine. Tell the b------ that I’ll listen to it.


* Hiei takes the orb.


Shironji- Is everything well, sir?

Hiei- I believe things are about to start heating up, Shi.. There’s some other Alphas that are beginning to put schemes into play that they think I’m too much of an idiot to be aware of.


* Hiei’s ears catch some talking in the distance and knows now where his pack is. He looks back at Shironji.


Shironji- I’m in your service, Master.

Hiei- There’s a demon on the other side of this region named Ooshama. Learn all you can about him and report back to me.. Appoint someone from your clan to stay on him at all times and report his movements to me.

Shironji- It will be done.. Listen to the message.

Hiei- I will. Now go.


* Shironji poofs out and Hiei flits his way up the path to the Waterfall Meadow. As he moves into it Sarista stands and moves to greet him.


Sarista- Welcome back.

Hiei- Hn.. Is everyone well?

Sarista- Hai.. You’re tense.. Something we should know about?


* Hiei lifts the orb.


Hiei- Perhaps.

Sarista- You can break it against the rock wall over there.


* Hiei nods. Sarista goes along with him as he moves to the rock face that forms one side of the waterfall. She stands quietly as Hiei tosses the orb to bring up the shadowy image of Dagon relaxing in a wide chair.


Dagon- Hello, Master. Long time, no see.


* Hiei rolls his eyes when the Crow demon cackles jovially.


Dagon- But I know you’re such a busy guy.. Well, things are about to get a whole lot busier.. I had a visit from my cousin Pterrayu..


* The shadow leans forward a moment.


Dagon- You do remember him, don’t you?


* Hiei has a brief flash of memory of the two birds together. The shadow chuckles again and leans back.


Dagon- I thought you would.. Well, there’s a demon near Pterra’s territory. His name is Ooshama and he’s very strong..


* Dagon holds up a hand toward Hiei.


Dagon- Not as strong as you, mind..

Sarista- I do believe that he’s.. flirting with you.

Hiei- You have no idea.

Dagon- Where you win allies, Ooshama forces his will on the alphas he’s already conquered by using some kind of a spell. I’d set Shironji on him if I were you.

Hiei- Already done, Crow.

Lily- A Crow.. That explains a lot.


* Hiei glances toward the Kitsune who has joined them. But Dagon continues and Hiei turns his attention back to the shadow.


Dagon- Pterra has a cousin on his Father’s side that had fallen to Ooshama a few years ago.. This demon is a Bat named Yushigu.

Celestia- D--- this guy is long-winded.


* Hiei glances at his Wolf hybrid mate smirking.


Dagon- Well, long story short, Pterra told me that Yushigu told him not long ago that he and a couple of his fellow claimants.. A Rat named Asmaroth and a Coyote named Hitaru, are planning on asking you to defeat Ooshama.

Hiei- I already know of this plot.

Dagon- You’ll have no problem defeating that slob Ooshama.. But be leary of any alliances with Yushigu.. That Bat can’t be trusted.


* The shadow relaxes back into the chair again and takes a drink of something.


Dagon- Well, that’s all. I just wanted to give my favorite Alpha a heads up.. Oh, speaking of heads, Master.. Do come and pay me a visit whenever you can.. And if you need me, just give a yell.


* The shadow touches his chest and leans in a respectful bow, then dissipates.


Celestia- You already knew?

Hiei- Hn.


* He turns now to face his females.


Hiei- Those three he mentioned have been sneaking around the outer barrier for several days now.. Two of them were recalled back to Ooshama so we allowed the Coyote to find his way inside.. These demons are truly idiots.


* Hiei moves to sit in the shade of a nearby tree. The three females join him, listening intently.


Hiei- They all three want free from this guy Ooshama.

Lily- They’re going to ask you to do that?

Hiei- Hn.. Then they plan to ambush me somehow once they’ve won my.. confidence.

Sarista- Somehow?

Hiei- Hn. They don’t even know how, yet.. Then this Coyote rogue, Hitaru, plans to turn on them.

Celestia- Pitiful.. But, really, such things are more common here in the Barren Lands than you think.

Sarista- Indeed. These same tactics have been used many times among the various packs here.

Lily- This is why there are so few organized packs left, but none could take the Ultimate Alpha spot.

Hiei- Well, I have the advantage of my jagan.. I’ll be able to determine who I can trust and who I’ll kill.


* Hiei looks down when River crawls around the tree and squirms up into his lap.


River- You kill, Daddy?


* He lifts his unwarded hand up to sift through her partially spiked hair.


Hiei- If it’s necessary, Girl.


* He notices a small shock of aqua-colored hair just over her forehead and brushes his thumb over the flame-shaped spot.


Hiei- You’re growing like a bad weed.. But you don’t need to worry about what Daddy has to do.

River- If they hurt you, Daddy, I will kill them.


* Hiei quirks an eyebrow at her icy tone.


Hiei- Hn. Indeed, I do believe you would.. Now, why don’t you go back to your playing?

River- Kiss, Daddy?


* Hiei leans and brushes his lips to her forehead. It puzzles him when she scowls with disappointment then blurs away.


Hiei- What the h--- was that?

Sarista- She wanted a kiss, dear.


* Hiei looks at Sarista.


Hiei- I gave her one.

Celestia- On her forehead.

Hiei- Hn. I don’t know much, but I do know that that is where Father’s kiss their daughters.. Right?

Lily- You still have so much to learn, Love.

Hiei- Get your minds out of that set.. River is only a child.

Sarista- You know how fast demon children mature.

Hiei- Enough, I said.. I have other things to be concerned about.


* The three females glance at each other and giggle. The Koorime rolls his eyes and looks away.
