All I Need
**Oh my- I'm sorry. I'm gonna leave those chapters alone, nothing I can do with them, but hopefully I'll be a bit better with my sobriety. I think I'm gonna keep Touya asleep for a few chapters and add in some pain for Jin. I love pain.**
~~Jin's POV~~
The girl smiled warmly and walked over to me, holding the strange plastic thing over us. Touya would know what it was...My chest grew heavy as I tried to pull Touya up with me as I stood. The girl tilted her head slightly and knelt down, talking one of his arms in her tiny hands. With her help I managed to stand up fully and begin to walk beside her. I let my eyes glide down to her face. It was thin and framed with long black locks and a few scratches here and there. Her eyes were pale, just as pale as Touya's. That made me smile. He probably wouldn't like me comparing him to a human, but as they were next to each other I could see certain things that looked similar. Her eyes for one and the shape of her face. My eyes started burning again and she glanced up at me without saying a word. Her eyes were larger then I had earlier thought and she blinked her delicate lids over them quickly. Her smile came back to her face, making me notice her pale lips, and she turned back to the road. I'm pretty sure it was a road anyway. I was a little uneasy with the idea of going further into this small space and not out into the open roads, but it seemed like she knew what she was doing. This was her home after all, she'd know it better then I would. The further we traveled the thicker the air got and the more rancid it smelt. I flatten my ears and winkled my nose up. I would have told her something, but my mouth was becoming sore. Maybe I had bitten my tongue. That would be bad and kinda rude. This girl was already helping me with Touya, I couldn't just pass out on her. That and I don't think she'd be able to lift us. She was so small. I found myself looking at her again as she led us through the rinding curves of this rancid place. Her dress seemed rather short, cutting off just below her knees in an odd pattern of blue and black. She wore a dark black jacket and gloves covered her hands. I hadn't noticed those before. I allowed myself to mentally ask her why she wore those and her icy eyes turned to me. She smiled again and re-adjusted the strange plastic thing in her hand.
"This are for my own good." Her words came out slower then a normal person would talk and her voice seemed soft and loving. I blinked at her random sentence and she held out her hand. The gloves seemed thick, even for the cold weather, and traced her hand perfectly. I couldn't tell what fabric it was made out of but I could tell it was cheap. I nodded in response to her and she stopped. Her smile left her face and I stopped to stand beside her. "Did you hurt your tongue?" Another shocking statement. I stared at her for a moment as she started to nod to herself. She placed the plastic thing on the ground, water instantly drenching her hair and clothes, and pulled her left glove off. "Open your mouth." I shook my head and she gave me a look. "Go on, or do you wanna bleed all over your friend." She had me there. I obeyed her and opened my mouth. She nodded to herself once again before taking a few steps towards me. I could see her renkai before I could feel it as a light blue coloured essence surrounded her hand. She placed a finger just out of my mouth and I winced slightly at the unexpected warming sensation that traveled through me. She smiled and put her glove back on. She picked up the plastic thing and glanced back up at me. "Talk now."
"Wat?" She smiled at me and continued to walk. I was startled at first but I quickly caught up with her. "How'd ya do tat?" She giggled slightly.
"Nii-chan taught me, he says if I concentrate hard enough I could probably heal a broken bone."
"So he taught ya how to use yar renkai?" The girl nodded again and I stopped. "Can ya help Touya?" She stopped a few steps in front of me and her face went blank. She looked so much like him right there.
"I might be able to, but if I can't then he'll die."
"But wat 'bot yar brother? Can't he do nothing for him?" She blinked a few times before sighing softly.
"Nii-chan doesn't have the same abilities I do. I'll do what I can, but first we have to get home and lay him down in some warm clothes." I nodded and ran up to her, following her as she began to walk again. Minutes passed us in silence and my head was beginning to spin again. Touya could die. I might lose him right when we got what we wanted? That wasn't fare, that just wasn't right. I closed my eyes as I walked behind the girl. I felt her stop and reopened them. She was opening a small gate in a large grey fence that surrounded a large building. I smiled at the sight of all the lights in the windows and my misery lightened just a bit. "You're going to have to hide that horn on your head."
"I can't." She glanced up at me with a worried expression before ushering me in. "Will aneeone even see us in there?"
"I doubt it, but I wouldn't like to take a chance if I didn't have to." Her voice had changed a bit and my excitement died. It was still soft and her words were still slow to form, but that gentleness that laced it was all but gone. My ears were completely flat now as she pushed a back door open to lead us into a long hallway. Every few feet there was another door with a letter and a number on it. Every other door had a light under it. Half of those had voices rafting out of the cracks. The girl was silent as she walked me to the stairs. "Can you carry him up those?" I nodded and decided to just climb them with her. I didn't want to over do myself or scare the girl. After a few flights she opened another door that revealed another hallway. This time though she walked to one of the doors and opened it. "We're home?" She was smiling again and i couldn't help but smile back at her. I walked into the room and stared at the furniture and lamps. This was someones home. "This way please." She led me into a separate room and motioned for me to lay Touya on a small bed. I did as she wanted and she pulled her gloves off both her hands. She placed them on his chest and the blue essence appeared again.
"Wat ya doin'?
"I'm trying to see what's wrong with him." I fidgeted and couldn't keep my mouth shut.
"Is he gonna be okay?" She smiled softly and I jumped into the air. She stared at me as I hovered slightly and my ears flattened. I slowly floated back to the ground and stared at her in hope of a good reaction. She giggled slightly and her smile became warmer.
"Will you teach me how to do that?"
"I would if I could but I don' thin' it can be taught." She nodded and stood up.
"I'll leave you alone."
"Wat's yar name?" She stopped right in front of the door and smiled.
"Himeka."
"Well I'm glad ta have met ya Hima-chan, I be Jin and he's Touya." Her smile widened and I could tell she was happy.
"Is there anything I can get you?" I shook my head.
"I've gots all I need."
**Okay, this is the only chapter I'm gonna put up tonight cause my carpal tunnel is really hurting my hand. I hope this chapter was longer and better then the last three but if it wasn't I'm sorry.**
