Property of Yoko…The Fox’s Wrath!
Fallenangelsquill-I refuse to apologize for your obvious inability to read author’s notes. Go learn to read before you criticize others. As plainly stated, the yaoi begins in chapter 3, which you clearly didn’t read. The summary says there will be HET and YAOI if you don’t like it, don’t read it.
Kerbear-Thanks for your review. It is in Yaoi because the majority of the story/sex scenes will focus on yaoi relationships. I knew that yaoi readers were far less likely to be opposed to an occasional het scene that het readers would be to many yaoi scenes. Due to the confusion this story is being moved to the general category.
Busyreader-As you wish! Glad you’re enjoying it!
A/N My deepest apologies for this story taking a year (?) Long Hiatus! I got married/moved/lost a bunch of stuff in the process. I do, however plan to finish this story. To make up for it I started this chapter out with a little lemon for ya!

Chapter 4
Property of Yoko…The Fox’s Wrath!
Kuronue gave a pleasured gasp as he tightened his grip on the sheets. He was on his back staring up at Yoko, who had Kuronue’s legs in his hands as he slowly entered him.
“Am I hurting you?” Yoko asked, concern evident in his voice.
“No,” Kuronue blushed, “its just good is all…”
Yoko smiled down at him as he pushed in a bit harder, making Kuronue release a small cry of pleasure. Once fully sheathed inside Kuronue, Yoko set a steady pace, letting his hand trail down Kuronue’s leg to wrap around his cock, pumping it in time with his thrusts.
Yoko smiled to himself as he struck Kuronue’s prostate repeatedly, turning him into a trembling, ball of desire. The sounds coming from his throat closely resembled frantic mewling.
Yoko slowed to a near stop, causing Kuronue’s mewls to morph into frustrated groans.
“Please don’t stop.” He begged.
“Kurue, do you love me?”
“Yes, master. I always have.”
“Would you do anything for me?”
“Yes.” Kuronue’s voice has a bit of a whine to it.
“Would you let me mark you?”
Kuronue’s clarity returned to him as if he’d been slapped in the face.
“What?” he asked, unsure he’d heard the kitsune correctly.
Yoko smiled mischievously, not wanting to ruin the mood with the seriousness of the question. “Can—I—mark—you.” With each word Yoko pumped Kuronue’s cock firmly.
“Ngh!” exclaimed Kuronue, throwing his head back in pleasure. “I would never expect that of you Yoko-sama.” Kuronue’s breath came in jagged breaths.
“Kurue…I want to. I want you to be mine.”
Kuronue looked up and locked eyes with Yoko. Finding nothing but sincerity in them.
Yoko’s heart pounded against his chest at Kuronue’s silence. “Kuronue. We’ve been together so long. We’ve both wanted this for so long. I couldn’t bear to see you with someone else now.”
“I’d never want to be with anyone else, Yoko. I have been yours from the day you rescued me. If it is truly what you desire, you may mark me. Though I do not feel worthy of it.”
Yoko once again picked up his pace, leaning in to kiss him deeply, effectively silencing Kuronue. He had no desire to hear the bat demon’s words. He knew there was none more deserving. In Yoko’s entire life he had never met anyone as loyal, or as honest as Kuronue. Never been with anyone as long. He already knew without a doubt that he wanted their relationship to be as permanent as the mark and the bond that was to come with it.
Toge watched from her corner, not believing what she was hearing. The mark that Kuronue had consented to would forever bind him to Yoko. No other being in all of demon world would dare lay a finger on one that was marked, especially by Yoko.
Not only would Yoko be obligated to protect and provide for Kuronue for the rest of his life, but Kuronue would never be in a relationship with anyone but Yoko.
If Yoko allowed Kuronue to mark him as well, which Toge honestly couldn’t picture, then the same rules would apply to him as well. Toge knew the infamous Yoko Kurama would never allow himself to be bound to one being for the remainder of his life.
In many cases, when one demon was bound to another, especially mutually, they would follow each other even in death. It was a beautiful union, but one that was absolutely not entered into lightly, and was actually rarely entered into at all.
Kuronue had a death grip on the sheets. “Gods, Yoko…I need to cum…”
Yoko gripped the base of Kuronue’s cock tightly. “Not yet.”
Kuronue let out a whimper of need as Yoko cut off his orgasm.
Yoko began thrusting harder into Kuronue, leaning forward to kiss his neck.
Yoko let out a feral growl as his own orgasm peaked. “Now.” He commanded, releasing Kuronue’s cock and pumping him a few more times. Both their bodies shuddered into orgasm, and as Kuronue writhed in pleasure, Yoko sunk his teeth deep into Kuronue’s neck.
Kuronue let out a moan, his pleasure far exceeding his pain as Yoko licked long, apologetic strokes over the wound, savoring the exotic taste of the bat demon’s blood.
“Last chance to change your mind, Kurue.”
“No…I want to belong to you.”
Yoko brought his own wrist to his mouth and bit into it, holding it over the fresh wound on Kuronue’s neck.
Kuronue hissed, reaching for Yoko’s other hand and squeezing it as he writhed a bit in pain.
“I know it hurts, just hang in there.” Yoko soothed
Kuronue’s hiss turned into a cry as he gripped Yoko’s hand with both of his. The kitsune’s blood felt like lava traveling through his wound. He could feel it traveling deeper within his body as his own blood mixed with it and carried it further away from the wound.
Kurama began licking the wound again, this time sealing it with his saliva. Once no air was getting to the wound, Kuronue felt as if a fire had been lit under his skin. A scream of pain escaped his lips, but he forced himself to hold back the tears that threatened at the edges of his eyes.
“Shh. Not much longer.” Yoko said calmly, soothing Kuronue’s hair back.
Kuronue felt his heartbeat speeding up, and knew that the fox’s blood was close to its destination. Once it filtered through his heart the bonding would be complete. A slow fire started in his heart, then erupted into what felt like an inferno.
Kuronue screamed, one of his hands flying to his chest, fingernails digging scratches into the flesh as if he could free the fire from under his skin. Yoko quickly grabbed his hand and pinned it down.
“Shh. Shh.”
Kuronue’s breathing slowed and the fire slowly dissipated as if someone had poured a bucket of water over it. Finally he was back to normal, with only a slight burning around his wound, which he knew would last for days as the skin raised into a permanent scar.
“I’m sorry, Kurue.”
“Don’t apologize, Yoko-sama…I want this. I just forgot how painful it could be. I hadn’t prepared myself for it.”
Yoko nodded, his eyes apologetic before leaning down to kiss the mark.
“Mine.” He growled possessively.
“Yes, yours.” Kuronue smiled up at him.
Later, as Yoko emerged from his house he felt many pairs of eyes on him, and his fox ears picked up on many sighs of relief as Kuronue appeared behind him.
Luca bounded over to them, Yoko couldn’t help but smirk at how the young wolf demon acted so much like a wolf pup, despite the fact he was only a few years younger than Kuronue.
“Kuronue! You’re okay! We were so worried about you!”
“Speak for yourself.” Came a snide remark from behind them.
Yoko turned to see Nakama, a middle-aged lion demon, returning from his patrols.
“We all knew that Yoko would shower him with favoritism as he always does.” Nakama said, a challenge to his voice.
Yoko growled low, and pulled the rose from his hair. “Do you have something you’d like to say to me, Nakama?”
Nakama grunted in reply before stepping back a few paces to show he wasn’t interested in engaging in a fight.
“Shut up, Nakama,” Kodo added, “You didn’t hear the sssscreams lasssst night. Kuronue got hisss punishment, and then ssssome.”
“Hm. And how did the mighty Kuronue show his loyalty in order to save himself?” Nakama scoffed.
“This is how!” Yoko said angrily, wrenching Kuronue’s head to the side to reveal his mark.
All three demons gasped at the sight.
“Now if anyone has any further questions of Kuronue’s loyalty, they can take it up with me. If you don’t like how I run things, I’ll be happy to dig your grave for you.” Anger flashed in Yoko’s eyes, pointed directly at Nakama. Nakama simply looked away, turning to retreat to his house.
“Anyone else?” Yoko asked gruffly.
“When are you going to exile that snake?” asked Luca, “I don’t trust him, sir.”
“Hey ! Sssssome of ussss take offensssse to that.”
“Sorry Kodo, I meant Nakama, not you.” Luca grinned.
“Believe me, I’ve thought often of doing worse than exiling him. I ought to kill him for his insolence.” Yoko growled.
“No, Yoko. He’s a strong warrior. It’s in his nature to challenge authority.” Kuronue reasoned.
Yoko grunted in reply.
As the day drug on, Kuronue found it hard to focus on anything. He also noticed a feeling of overwhelming homesickness when Yoko sent him to oversee a hunting party while Yoko himself returned to camp to deal with other matters.
This bond thing is going to take some getting used to.
Kuronue was consoled by the fact that he would see his beautiful kitsune tonight, and every night for the rest of their lives. This thought brought a sudden queasy feeling to the pit of his stomach as he realized that Yoko was not actually his anything. Kuronue belonged to Yoko, but Yoko was still free. For all intents and purposes Yoko could be off ravishing some beautiful creature at that very moment. Panic began to worm its way into Kuronue’s chest at the realization that while he had agreed to be marked, there had been no promise from Yoko to allow him to return the gesture.
What have I done?
Kuronue’s thoughts were interrupted, as Luca tapped him on the shoulder. He turned his attention toward Luca and Kodo, and the nice bunch of small animals they had hunted.
“Do you think this is enough?” Luca asked
“Yes. Please return to camp. I’m going to take a little walk.” Kuronue replied.
“But Kuronue, itssss not ssssafe. Do you not remember what Yoko ssssaid? Let one of usss go with you.”
“No, Kodo, thank you, but I will be fine.” Kuronue replied as he began walking further into the forest.
Kodo and Luca looked at each other and shrugged, before heading back to camp.
***
Yoko entered his house, and plopped down on his bed. He was sweaty, and breathing hard from sparring with his warriors. He had to admit that they were getting good. It was only due to the recent feud with Fukuru, the owl lord, that Yoko even felt the need to train warriors. He was normally one to protect what was his on his own. But his men had become too many and too valuable to him to take chances. He had a responsibility to them to ensure that they were safe, and the best way he knew to do that was to make sure they could hold their own.
Yoko glanced over to the window, suddenly remembering that Toge was there. She was staring sadly out the window. Something in the girl’s expression made him feel sorry for her. He knew that it wasn’t right to keep such a free spirit locked up like this.
“Toge.”
“What?” Yoko was disappointed that there was no bite to her tone. She sounded disinterested at best, and Yoko could feel the depression hanging in the air around him.
“Starting tomorrow I’m going to assign someone to watch you while I’m attending to my duties. I will allow you some freedoms, but the first time you abuse these privileges you will be right back here, and there will be no second chances.”
Toge looked at him, and though she didn’t act excited, there was an unmistakable spark in her eyes.
“That sounds better than sitting in here all day.”
“I thought you might like that.”
“Can I ask…well, now that you have Kuronue, what exactly do you want me for? Why not just free me?”
Yoko smirked at her. “My dear thorn, I am a procurer of rare and beautiful artifacts. A full blooded lynx demon is indeed a rare treasure.”
“A-are you going to sell me?”
“Perhaps, one day, but if you prove to be a decent captive I won’t have to. I’ll keep you around as a real life piece of art.”
“I’m not art. I’m a living being!”
A satisfied smile crossed Yoko’s face at the acidity of her words.
***
Kuronue sat in his favorite spot next to a small lake. He was staring intently into the red pendant which he always wore.
Mother. I wish you were here to advise me now. I don’t know what to do. I love him, but it’s not in his nature to be with one lover…what am I to do?
Kuronue’s ears perked as a twig snapped in the woods behind him. He quickly dodged an attack, back flipping off the log he was sitting on, his eyes instantly zeroing in on a blue haired female demon. She was very human looking. Her blue hair hung down to her ankles. She wore a forest colored robe, and her eyes reminded Kuronue of deep pools of water. She was unarmed as far as Kuronue could see, which made him wonder why on earth she would attack him.
“Who are you?” he demanded.
“My name is unimportant, as you will not live long enough to remember it.” She replied, her tone like ice.
“You intend to kill me with no weapons?” Kuronue scoffed.
“I am a water master, I have no need of weapons.”
“It will take more than water to kill me.”
“You underestimate your opponents!” She said coldly as she flew at him, landing a kick to his ribs that sent him flying backward.
Kuronue grunted as he felt the crack of ribs in his chest. Her kick had felt as if it had the force of a tidal wave behind it. Despite the pain, Kuronue jumped to his feet as soon as he hit the ground, effectively dodging her second attack. Kuronue wasted no time in whipping out his kusarigama, the blade cut through her stomach, but rather than bleed, water poured from the wound, pooling on the forest floor and disappearing as if it had soaked into the ground.
Kuronue stood staring, puzzled.
***
Yoko still lay in his bed, nearly asleep, as a sharp pain ripped through his head. He sat up in surprise grabbing his forehead.
“Are you alright?” Toge asked, concern evident in her voice.
Yoko relaxed as the pain subsided. “Yes…I think so. That was…odd.”
***
The woman reappeared a few yards behind Kuronue, pointing her finger at his back, and watching as a small bit of water hit his shoulder. Kuronue screamed as the water ripped through him with the force of a bullet, blood instantly staining his robes.
Kuronue grabbed his shoulder and staggered backward as he once again threw his kusarigama at her. She dodged it with little effort, laughing at his futile attempts.
***
Another, stronger pain ripped through Yokos brain, this time pulling a small yell from him.
“Luca!” He yelled, and the wolf demon appeared almost instantly, as if he’d been standing outside his door.
“Yes sir?”
“Where is Kuronue?”
“He told us to come back to camp, because he wanted to take a walk alone.”
“That idiot!’
Yoko jumped out of his bed, ran across the camp, and hopped over the wall into the forest.
Hold on Kuronue.
***
The woman stood several feet away from Kuronue, but the force of the ki leaving her palms was enough to lay Kuronue out, even as he tried to brace himself.
Another shot from her palms to the tree he had landed under brought a giant limb down across his pelvis and part of his thighs, effectively pinning his arms to his side.
Kuronue grit his teeth under the limbs crushing weight.
“What do you want?” He demanded, jaw tightly clenched.
“I want you to tell me the location of the Bandit Yoko Kurama’s hideout.” She demanded.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Kuronue lied. Almost before the words had finished leaving his mouth the woman had raised her foot.
“Tidal kick!” she yelled as she brought her high-heeled boot down on Kuronue’s left shin. Kuronue screamed as he felt his leg splinter under her foot.
***
The pain that ripped through Yoko’s head made his stomach lurch, but the scream he heard in the distance that he immediately recognized as Kuronue, nearly stopped his heart.
Yoko growled as he picked up his pace, now knowing exactly where he was heading.
I’m coming.
***
The woman held Kuronue’s already broken leg up as high as the heavy tree branch would allow.
“I’ll ask you once more. Where is Yoko Kurama? You reek of fox, so I know you are one of his comrades.”
The pain running through Kuronue’s mind lapped at the edges of his sanity, and he welcomed it. He smiled at her, the smile of a mad man. “Go to hell.” He said coldly.
***
Yoko saw it before he felt it. Ahead of him in the clearing by the stream, A female demon held Kuronue’s leg at the breaking point. He said something to her, and she pushed it further, breaking it at the thigh.
Yoko’s vision spotted black threatening unconsciousness as the pain once again wracked his head. He refused to let the pain slow him down. Reaching Kuronue was his only goal.
“I will break every bone in your body if I have to. Tell me when to find Yoko!” The woman threatened, an angry edge to her voice.
“Right here!” Yoko yelled as he continued to run toward her.
She dodged his fist as he flew at her, side stepping right where he wanted her. As she stepped under a tree, vines came down, securing her hands in spread-eagle fashion above her head, her ankles together, and wrapping tightly around her neck.
Yoko used his ki to write symbols in the air with his fingers, drawing a circle around the glowing symbols, he pushed it to her chest.
“I have barred your ki, so don’t even bother trying anything.”
Angry eyes flashed up at him as she struggled. Yoko drew his rose whip and hit her three times. Drawing strangled screams from her constricted throat.
“You injured something that belongs to me…my mate. For that you will die. How you die is your choice. Tell me who sent you and I will make it quick.”
“I can’t.” she choked out, fear now evident in her deep blue eyes.
“What are they going to do, kill you if you talk?” Yoko smirked evily.
“F-Fukuro, the owl lord. Please…I’m just an assassin. I’m only doing my job.”
“Wrong. Your job was to kill me. Instead you tortured my lover.” Yoko said icily, the yellow glow entering his eyes.
“Please, I can go back to him and kill him for you. In exchange for my life.” She begged.
“I prefer to do my own dirty work.” He said, his voice now taunting, enjoying the fear radiating off of her. Yoko stepped forward, pulling a seed from his hair, and holding it in his fist as thrust his hand into her stomach, leaving the seed.
She cried out, tears coming to her eyes.
“I want you to know, I’m going to leave your body here for the animals to pick apart.”
The woman whimpered.
“Oh, and I was lying about the quick death.”
Yoko’s eyes glowed brighter and the woman began screaming as the plant within her slowly grew, pushing its way slowly through her skin, one small branch at a time. After a few minutes of screams the woman finally made a choking sound, and her eyes rolled back into her head, her body slumping lifelessly as a thick branch emerged out of her mouth.
Yoko allowed the vines to release her, the plant within her now stood rooted firmly to the ground with her dead body impaled on it.
Yoko turned, vines from the tree Kuronue was under wrapping around the limb and lifting it off of him. Yoko removed one of his belts, wadding it up pressing it to Kuronue’s bleeding shoulder.
Kuronue let out a strangled cry before blacking out from the pain as Yoko lifted him as gently as possible from the ground and carried him home.
Once Yoko had laid Kuronue in his bed, he crushed a seed in his hand and waved the powder under Kuronue’s nose. Kuronue’s eyes flutted open, registering the pain instantly.
“Gods, Yoko, my leg! Please, my leg!” Kuronue begged.
“Shh my friend, I’m far more worried about you bleeding to death at the moment.”
Kuronue whimpered as Yoko releaseed his pressure from the wound, lifting his belt slightly to get a better look. The wound instantly began gushing again. Yoko glanced at his window where nearly the whole camp was gathered.
“Luca, fetch water. Kodo, I need some clean rags. I want 4 of you guarding the wall. No one leaves camp tonight.”
“I-is there anything I can do to help?”
Yoko was surprised momentarily by Toge’s softened tone, but then noted that Kuronue had been nothing but nice to her.
“Yes, bring me a needle and thread from that little box over there.” Yoko said, nodding to the small table next to the stove. “Bring me that brown bottle as well.”
Toge returned with the items, and Yoko placed her hands over his. “Keep pushing on it.”
Toge nodded, flinching as Kuronue whimpered in pain. “I’m sorry.” She apologized.
“Oh it’s not you…” Kuronue said through clenched teeth. “It’s…”
Yoko poured the liquid from the bottle over Kuronue’s wound, eliciting a poorly held back scream. “That.” Kuronue finished.
“The worst is over now.” Yoko said calmly, as he stuck the threaded needle into Kuronue’s shoulder and began to stitch him up.
Once the wound was finished, Yoko moved to Kuronue’s legs.
“Toge, ask to borrow a leather belt from one of the men.”
Toge nodded, and walked to the window.
“Kurue, I’m so sorry about this.”
“It’s not your fault. I shouldn’t have gone off on my own.”
Yoko leaned down to kiss Kuronue gently.
Luca and Kodo returned with the water and rags. Luca set the water over the fire-place as Toge returned with the belt.
“Kodo, Luca, please grab him and hold him down.”
They each nodded, going to one of Kuronue’s sides.
“Thorn, please go get 4 of the straightest logs you can find in the pile.”
Toge glared at Yoko for the name, but let it go.
Yoko stuffed the belt in Kuronue’s mouth.
“I’ll make this as quick as possible.”
Kuronue nodded, squeezing his eyes shut tightly.
Yoko braced himself for the pain that he would share with Kuronue, thanks to their bond. Yoko grabbed Kuronue’s leg at the knee, pulling it straight, feeling the bones slide into place with what he knew was a sickening crack, but the sound was drowned out by Kuronue’s screams. Unshed tears were brimming in the bat demon’s eyes as he fought hard not to let them fall. Yoko was slightly distracted by the realization that pain caused to Kuronue by his hand affected only Kuronue. Yoko found himself thinking how twisted that concept actually was.
Luca stepped aside to draw the privacy shade over the window.
“Itsss okay Kuronue. Don’t be brave for ussss we won’t ssssay anything.”
Kuronue looked up at them appreciatively.
“Just one more.” Yoko said as Luca returned to Kuronue’s side.
Kuronue nodded, bracing himself yet again.
Yoko grasped Kuronue’s ankle, this time pulling and slightly twisting Kuronue’s shin before the bone finally set.
This time Kuronue’s screams were accompanied by tears and sobs, and Yoko did feel a pain, not the physical one that had been in his head, but a small pang in his chest. Yoko had never been the warm and fuzzy sort of lover before, but he now found himself desperately wanting to just hold Kuronue.
