Hey everyone!!

I LOVE YOU ALLL!! Seriously ^^. I do!! Well...because I could make you wait TOOOO long I updated this...and instead of a long A/N from me....I'm answering questions and stuff from reviews for all chapters!! ^^, and then I will start answering them each chapter ^^;; so here are the reviewers!!

Yeah ^^;; you would think that, but remember, Hiei was raised by heartless thieves who kicked him out…he doesn’t want to get too close to anyone for fear that they will abandon him too…sooo he’s starting to feel these feelings for Kuwa…gradually building these feelings up over the years…you know what happens when someone builds up their emotions for a long extended period of time right ^_~. They usually act on those impulses…hehehe and that’s all I’m saying hehehe. Enjoy the wait while it lasts though, because I’m really going to make Hiei regret not jumping Kuwa the first time he felt he wanted to ^_~.

Okay, I better warn you here then ^^;; I’m the cliffy queen, I’ve been told. I do A LOT of cliffy’s…the reason is I didn’t use to do them, but for one of my really popular stories (A Dream Come True to be exact) I took a break from it, but I told my readers that I would start it on a specific date…I didn’t leave it on a cliff hang but a normal ending of a ‘season’ and when I came back, more then HALF of my reviewers didn’t come back ^^;; so that is why I do a LOT of cliffy’s because I want to make sure I keep my reviewers…it’s a shame…I know but its true ^^;; But I hope you like this chapter, sooo…ENJOY!!

Yeah…sex scenes aren’t THAT necessary…and I only started writing them, but I’ve been told that I write really good ones ^^;;; and as I just recently tried, draw them too -^^- so…yeah you’ll have to wait a while for the sex scenes to happen, but not TOOOOO long…maybe the latest chapter might be the 12th maybe sooner….my whole chapter system was disturbed from putting chapter one and two together ^^;; so yeah hahaha. Oh and I’m only putting HALF of the flash back here hehehe and something else ^^, but you’ll see!!! ENJOY!!

I hate flashbacks. But at least ur updating. Is Kurama hitting on Kazuma or what? What’s his deal? Is he just worried about the poor human? Gonna get Yuskue to help free him and what not? Not that im complaining. im just a lil confused.

Awwww…well, you might be happy to know that this is only half of the FULL flashback ^__^. Yup, I am and will!!! ^^. Hehehehe…you have to decide that ^_~. He could just be a nice person…OR he could have feelings for Kuwa….OR like you said, he’s trying to get Yusuke to help….OR he could be trying to steal Kuwa from Hiei…sooo many sceniors sooo little time hehehe ^^. One of them in there is the TRUTH!!! Hehehe….^_~. I’m sorry about it being confusing ^^;; I’m trying to make it more…tense/interesting for you to read, and Kurama will reveal it later hehehe. ^_~. There is going to be hints…but when I get to the four saint beast stuff ((hehehe spoiler for you and anyone else who reads this hahaha)) there will be even more tense in the ‘romantic’ department ^_~. Chapter 4: Flashback?


Kuwabara lay in bed remembering how he was kidnapped by Hiei. However, he couldn't remember what had happened before that, the only thing was his sister dragging him away from school, having been sent home because of a fight, but that was all he could remember of that.

Kuwabara closed his eyes as he remembered what happened as he walked home with his sister that day....

The two continued to walk, when a dark figure appeared in front of them. Shizuru stopped in her tracks, and pulled her little brother behind her.

‘Something’s off with this guy.’ Shizuru thought.

“Who are you and what do you want?” Shizuru asked.

Kazuma looked out from behind his sister and saw a weird guy with black hair that seemed to defy gravity that had a white star shape design around the black bangs that were also a star shape. His red eyes seemed to be piercing into his eyes.

“That is none of your concern, though I am here for the boy.” The man said pointing at Kazuma who was hiding behind his sister.

“Trust me, you don’t want him, he’s not worth anything, so go find someone else.” growled Shizuru.

“No, that one will do nicely, thank you.” Hiei said with a grin disappearing in front of their eyes.

Kazuma found him self pulled into an embraced, which was from his sister, who was looking around frantically. Kazuma tried to pin point the stranger, however they were going too fast for his senses to pin point him. The only thing either of the two could see was the after image of the figure.

“You won’t be able to protect him forever.” Hiei said, as he continued to move around the two, trying to find a weak point where he could take out the human woman, and take what he had been looking for.

“I’ll try! I won’t let you have him, even if he is a pain in my ass all the time, I still love him!” Shizuru growled, almost crushing her brother to her.

Kazuma closed his eyes and sobbed, his senses telling him it wouldn’t end up well for either of them.

His eyes snapped open when he felt his sister was pulled away from him. He watched in horror as his sister was flung backwards, away from himself and only stopped when her back crashed into a tree.

“Sis!” Kazuma shouted, out stretching his arm towards his fallen sister.

“Now, little boy, come with me peacefully or I will be forced to make you to.” Hiei said, a smirk coming to his lips. “Either way, you will come with me.”

Kazuma looked at his sister, who struggled to get back up to her feet. He turned blood red eyes towards the one who had hurt his sister and growled.

“You hurt my sister you freak!” Kazuma shouted, his hands starting to glow as he charged the man who was the same height as he.

Hiei smirked, finding the attack amusing. However, Hiei’s eyes widened at a glowing sword that appeared in the boy’s hand. Hiei snapped out of his shock and un-sheathed his Katanna, just blocking the attack.

Kazuma’s eyes widened at the sword he held in his hand, but he didn’t stare at it too long as he felt pressure from Hiei’s katanna pushing him backwards. Kazuma thought about his mother, his father, his fallen sister who tried to protect him; he knew he needed to beat the weird man in front of him, he was almost a man, and men defend women, even if those women are older annoying sisters.

“I’m gonna kill you for hurting my sister you bully!” Kazuma shouted, pushing his sword forward, knocking Hiei backwards a bit, though he was able to right him self.

He narrowed his eyes at the boy.

“So…you’re the type whose spiritual awareness rises to the occasion, to when a love one is in need…” Hiei growled. “Those are the type of human’s I loath, however that won’t keep me from reaching my main goal. I won’t let you escape me, not after all the time I’ve searched for a human like you!” Hiei said, charging forward. “No, I will not waste anymore time!”

Kazuma gulped but stood firm, as Hiei came straight towards him, his sword out as if he was holding a baseball bat; he had never held a sword before and the only weapon he had held before was for little league baseball.

Hiei screamed as he set his attack in motion, the two clashing metal sword against spiritual one. Kazuma struggled to hold his grown, however even if their height were equal, their strengths were opposite, Hiei being stronger. Kazuma’s eyes widened as the last thing he had remembered seeing was that of the sword shattering his spiritual one before blackness and a blood curdling scream that could only be made from his sister.

Hiei sheathed his sword that was now tainted with blood, before catching the falling boy and lifting him up into his arms; he hadn’t killed the boy, only stunned him with a nick of a cut across his chest that wouldn’t even kill an old lady. Hiei turned to the sobbing sister, who still was too injured to stand.

“He’s alive, don’t worry about that. I need him for something, so I won’t kill him…but once I’m done with him, I might return him…” Hiei said before turning and disappearing into the darkness, leaving the sobbing sister on the ground.

(The present)


About 10 Km away from Yusuke, Hiei is on a roof, using his Jagan eye to see Keiko and Yusuke.

On Hiei’s shoulder is a minion demon.

“Keiko Yukimura…Yusuke Urameshi’s classmate and childhood friend. She’s very important to him.” The minion said.

“Hmm…I could just kill him and take the treasure but what fun is that?” Hiei said with a smirk. “This girl presents…possibilities.”

Keiko’s walking down the street school, with Yusuke’s words in her mind.

‘…it’s a looong story.’

‘Fine, whatever.’ Keiko thinks sighing. ‘See if I care.’

In the shadows, Hiei emerges, the Conjuring Blade in hand. Keiko looks up and as fast as lighting is slashed in her forehead by the cursed blade Hiei wield.

In class Yusuke’s demon finder started to beep rapidly.

“Hoo boy, a demon…at five kilo-meters?!” Yusuke said, before standing up and rushing out of the class room.

“Urameshi! We’re in the middle of class!” shouts Mr. Takenaka.

“I know, Mr. Take, but something’s come up!” Yusuke said, before leaving.

Yusuke runs out of the school and finds Botan in street cloths at the school entrance.

“Botan! You saw?” Yusuke asked, running up to her.

“Yes! Hiei has shown his hand already!” Botan said.

“Wait, this is weird…at my level of power, the compass shouldn’t detect anything more than 500 meters away…” Yusuke said.

‘Not to mention that’s the same name that guy mentioned that time…could this Hiei guy be the same Hiei that had Kuwabara as a slave?’ Yusuke thought.

“He’s not hiding! He wants you to know where he is! A trick like that requires major demonic powers! That’s not all! He sent me a telepathic message that he’s taken Keiko, and will let her go in exchange for the other two treasures!” Botan said.

“Keiko?!” Yusuke shouted.

In warehouse Number Four, Yusuke and Botan entered.

“Come out Hiei, you scumbag! I’m here for Keiko! Come out!” Yusuke shouted.

Instead of Hiei, a group of human’s who were zombified came out. Yusuke snorted and tilted his head to the side. The zombies rushed Yusuke however Yusuke wasn’t in the mood and knocked them all out at once.

“I don’t have time for goons!” Yusuke shouted, his eyes twitching.

Botan kneeled next to those on the ground and gasped.

“Oh my…these are just ordinary people under mind control.”

“C’mon creep! Show yourself!” Yusuke shouted. “Demons, human zombies…doesn’t matter! Bring ‘em on! I’ll pulverize ‘em!”

“He’s controlling so many at once…Does Hiei have use of the evil eye?” Botan asked aloud.

“He does.” came a voice in the shadows.

Yusuke turned to find the one he had seen back in the clearing not too long ago.

“Up close, I see you’re just a weedy nothing. It makes me furious to think how much trouble you’ve been! Yet you’re the ‘official underworld detective’, huh? Big deal. You don’t stand a chance against me.” Hiei said, holding the Conjuring blade in his hand, while next to him stood two zombified humans, holding up an unconscious Keiko.

“Keiko!” Yusuke shouted.

“Interesting….you’re still sane after a look at my evil eye. Guess you have some spiritual fortitude. Must be what the underworld’s counting on.” Hiei said.

Yusuke growled and held up the orb and the mirror.

“Shut up! Let’s get down to business! Here’re the treasures! Release Keiko!” Yusuke shouted.

“Why, sure. No problem. The game’s only worth playing if you follow the rules.” Hiei said, with a smirk.

Yusuke tossed the two items to the floor, as Keiko was laid far to the right safely on the ground. Hiei landed near the items and picked them up, as Yusuke went to Keiko’s side.

“They’re the real thing.” Hiei said with a smile.

“Heh heh, I was going to do away with Goki and Kurama myself, especially Kurama for what he pulled, and take the treasures. This way you’ve saved me the trouble.” Hiei said.

Yusuke started to laugh.

“Think so? Ha! You’re a bigger moron than you look!” Yusuke laughed.

Hiei looked at him, interested.

“We did the deal! Now all bets are off! I’ll have your ass and the treasures!!! And if you are the same guy named Master Hiei I heard about, then I’ll free Kuwabara too!” Yusuke said, lunging forward and just barely missing Hiei who seemed to fade away.

“Where is he?! Where’d he go?!” Yusuke shouted, looking around.

“Just over here. It was an easy dodge.” Hiei said, appearing right behind Yusuke, who took a few steps backwards, away from the demon.

“So that’s your idea of a surprise attack? No surprise how sluggish it was.” Hiei said.

‘Damn…’ Yusuke thought. ‘…I thought I had him! Never seen such speed!’

“You called me a moron but who looks moronic now, eh?!” Hiei said. “Did you think I’d just give the girl back in a straight swap?! You idiot! Take a look at her forehead!” Hiei laughed, pointing at Keiko, who was with Botan.

Yusuke glanced back and noticed a slit in Keiko’s forehead, though it looked more like a slightly open eye.

“Some kind of gash, but…no blood?!” Yusuke shouted.

“That’s no gash! It’s…an eye!” gasped Botan, as the eye started to open a bit more.

“Ha ha ha, I returned her, as promised but her fate is in my hands!! Just as my human is mine! She will be mine!” Hiei laughed.

Yusuke growled.

‘I knew it was this creep…’ Yusuke thought before turning back to Keiko and gasp.

“This eye…it’s trying to open!” Yusuke shouted.

“Ha ha! She’ll have the honor of being my first woman slave! Once that eye opens fully, she’ll be a demon under my thrall!” Hiei shouted.

“No way!!” Yusuke shouted.

Botan outstretched her hand and white energy came out, causing the eye to recluse.

“Unh…I’ll try to hold this back. Take Hiei down, Yusuke…” Botan said, struggling to concentrate on closing the evil eye.

Hiei smiled, impressed.

“Your friend can suppress demonification? Without hold water?! I’ve rarely seen such sophisticated white magic!” Hiei said. “But without hold water to help her, the toll it’s taking on her must be incredible! She won’t be able to sustain such effort for long.” Hiei said, noticing Botan’s hands shaking as well as sweat coming down her face.

“Unh…he’s right…It’s sapping my spirit energy away!” Botan said.

Yusuke turned a glare at Hiei and made a noise sounding as if he was pissed.

“Okay, now we can get down to it! A life-or-death game of cat and mouse! The only thing that can save that girl is the antidote contained in the hilt of this sword! All you have to do is take it from me!! As if you could manage it in 100 years…” Hiei laughed, but was cut short as Yusuke suddenly appeared in front of him and punched him across the face, causing him to fly backwards a bit, though he was able to do a few flips setting him self kneeling on the ground, the sword out in front of him.

“He was on me in an instant! Not even my human could do that, even with all the training I’ve had with him….How could…who the Hell are you…?!” Hiei asked fear in his eyes.

“The guy who’s gonna mangle you…for what you did to Keiko….and as for YOUR human, his name is Kuwabara and he is not yours.” Yusuke said with a serious face.

“So…you’re the sort who rises to the occasion when a friend’s in need…blasted annoying!” Hiei hissed his evil eye widening. “That’s the type of human I hate the most…!!” Hiei growled, wiping the small dribble of blood that came from the corner of his lip, with the back of his hand. “His power and ability increase to meet the situation. His attack caught me completely off guard.” Hiei mumbled to himself, causing Yusuke to look at him funny. “But you didn’t take the sword from me right then…a mistake. My guard is up, and will stay up! No way you’re getting the antidote!” Hiei said, holding the sword out. “She will be my demon slave! The girl’s third eye will open. There’s no stopping it.”

“So you say.” Yusuke said with no doubt in his voice, but determination.

I'm seriously messing with my own story...orginally there was a WHOLE flashback scene for this chapter, but I only gave you half of it...as you can see hehehe ^^. Well, I hope you guys liked this!
