...please?

A/N: Yay! People like the fic! Some people more than others…o.o….Oh, and Jade? Sorry about that ^.^;; It was like….a one time thing! I swear! Anyways…One more thing I have to address before we start the fic! Hiei: 2, Kurama: 1, Kuwabara: -1, Yusuke: 0, Other: 0 (Excuse me if Kuwabara’s name sometimes ends up as Kuwabaka…I’m used to typing it that way when I talk to my friends….he’s not my favorite either >.o) Who you end up with will be decided after this chapter! If I don’t like the decision everyone made, (ex.:Kuwabara) I will choose the second place winner!

You had been wandering for what seemed like an hour, but was actually fifteen minutes now… You were tired by now, and decided to turn around and go back to bed, until you realized that this would only lead to more wandering. Groaning, you leaned against the wall, and allowed yourself to slide down it until your butt hit the ground.

‘Couldn’t keep your ass in one place could ya…?’ You yelled at yourself mentally. You leaned on your knees in front of you, and buried your face in your hands. You weren’t crying, but you weren’t exactly the happiest person on earth right now.

“Go back to bed,” You jumped in surprise as the voice you heard wasn’t your own. You looked up to see an obviously annoyed Hiei. “What? Why are you—“ you were cut off as Hiei grabbed your arm and pulled you to your feet, giving you a little push in one direction, and walking off in the same direction ahead of you. You stood there for a second, before deciding it was best to fallow him.

You followed him silently, until you reached a door. Hiei walked through the doors and again, you followed, assuming that it was the room you were originally looking for. This time, you were right in your assumptions, but very, very wrong to have followed an already annoyed Hiei.

He had known you were following him, but didn’t think that you would follow him into the kitchen, or that’s what you had decided to call it. He was sitting in the window sill, and you were getting a glass of water. He didn’t move, but his eyes darted to you, and the second you realized he was watching you, he was standing in front of you.

“What is your name?” He asked you, and you had a feeling that he was about to repeat Koenma’s earlier interrogation.

“Kasumi,” you answered him, glaring at him and stepping around him to sit at the table, “Liar,” you froze at his word, “What? What the hell would make you think I would lie about my name?” you asked, in a fake shock. ‘The fact that I’m telepathic baka ona,’ You jumped in a very real state of shock this time as a voice that wasn’t yours rang in your head.

*A week later*

You had had your meeting with Koenma, and despite your constant questions and however many times Koenma had to repeat his definition of Spirit World, you thought it went…ok…

He had explained to you that the collar was a tracking device that they had attached to a dog demon, who they had just recently found was named Kasumi Ishiguro. He told you that she was a violent demon, and could defiantly be responsible for the various deaths that had occurred in the area. Koenma had said that they were going to have to put you in the Spirit World prison, even though you pleaded innocent. You had spent hours trying to convince Koenma that you had lied about your name, and that you were actually just Kasumi’s friend. He hadn’t believed you, but he had decided that you seemed innocent enough that you could simply stay in the castle until they confirmed you as either being innocent or guilty.

Right now, you were busy drawing stick figure Hiei’s and ripping them up. You weren’t very happy with him….The week before, Hiei had proved to you that he was a demon, and that he was telepathic. He now knew exactly who you were, but you had made him promise that he wouldn’t tell anyone who you really were. He had never actually promised…he had said something about not having to do what you said, but now that it mattered, he wasn’t about to tell anyone.

You had already ruled out begging him, and according to Yusuke and Suuichi…who you had also recently found to be Kurama, even trying to punch him would be useless, you refused to go back into Koenma’s office where all of the ogres were, but you were starting to see that as your only option.

As you ripped up another stick figure with hair that went to the top of the page, and a giant knife stuck through his heart and threw it at the window where Hiei would be if he hadn’t decided to leave, so that your life wasn’t at risk. Yusuke was sitting on the couch next to you, and Kuwabaka was digging through the refrigerator. Kurama was reading a book, but ever now and then he would look up at you.

“Kasumi, what are you doing?” He asked finally, putting the book down, “My name isn’t Kasumi…” You growled. “It’s Minx, My name is Nanashi Minako,” you repeated to him for the fifth time that week. “Alright, alright, what are you doing though?” he asked again, “Wishing Hiei had never been born…” You said, glaring at the paper that you were now drawing another stick figure on.

“Hiei, I haven’t seen my friends in a week, they don’t know where I am…in fact, no one knows where I am. I am still trying to figure out where I am, and I have no idea why I am here. I barely know any of you people, and I am only *Insert age*!! Please go and tell Koenma that I’m not some dog thing that kills people!!” You couldn’t believe that you had resorted to begging him like this, but you were the only two here…and the worst he could say is no…

“No,” he glared at you and turned to look out the window again, “But Hiei, please?” You didn’t dare get to close to him, and you were already begging, there was no way you were going to get down on your knees or do anything that stupid. “Hiei, please? I’ll do whatever you want; I just don’t want to go to jail in a fucking different dimension!” you glared at him for a few minutes, and sighed, walking away to get a glass of water to help you calm down. “I’ll think about it,” You were shocked at this answer, but didn’t say anything to ruin it, instead, you nodded in appreciation, and left, even though he wasn’t looking.

A/N: This chapter was a little shorter, but we got further! Sorry you had to resort to begging! Oh well….I probably would have…besides, this is before you know how to earn Hiei’s respect and yadda yadda…. No, this chapter does not mean that you end up with Hiei, because it focuses a lot on Hiei I know….but trust me, I have a tendency to lean on one character and then the other…but we’ll see who you choose. Oh yeah….will we ever find out what happened to Katashi? Of course!
