Chapter 4: Showdown
Yusuke pushed Koenma protectivy behind him and glared at the demon. Kurama had his rose hip out and Hiei guarded the shaky God. Kanari-hito's eyes turned red and he formed a energy ball. "He's mine fuckers!" He yelled and Yusuke moved to punch him. He quickly jumped out of the way as the was thrown at him. Kanari-hito went to grab Koenma, but was slashed across the face by Kurama's whip.
The demon screeched and Yusuke threw him into a wall. "He is mine and no one else's! I'm the only one that loves him." Kanari-hito yelled and Kuwabara kicked him in the stomach when he got too close. "You call what you did to him love!? That's no where near it!" He growled and Kanari-hito wiped the blood from his lip, then threw a ball of electricity. Hiei, Kuwabara and Kurama dodged while getting Koenma out of the way as well.
Kuwabara slashed his left arm with his spirit sword and Yusuke threw him into another wall, punching him into the blocks. Koenma felt dizzy from the chains and loss of blood and went tipsy. Kurama held him up and Kuwabara helped. Yusuke growled at the demon. "You're really pissing me off!" He yelled and waited until he was in from of him and shouted. "Shotgun!" The blasts hit Kanari-hito and he was thrown into the air, then landed hard.
The demon laid bleeding. "You...." He passed out before he finished and Yusuke panted, then turned back to human. Yusuke helped Koenma and held onto him. They assumed the demon was dead. "Well lets hurry to the portal and get back." Yusuke said and they hurriede. Koenma was being helped by Yusuke through the rest of the castle and finally got to the door. They were suddenly hit from behind and Yusuke rubbed his head. "What the hell!?"
They looked up and seen Kanari-hito, his eyes still red. He had scales and a forked tongue now. Kuwabara's mouth went into a straight line. "You're dead!" He yelled and the demon hissed, looking right at Koenma. "If I can't have you no one will!" He shot a small laser like energy beam from his finger, hitting the God through the shoulder. Koenma cried out, and hit the wall then crashed to the floor, not moving. Yusuke yelled and threw punches and finally rammed his hand through his chest. "Try to survive this! Shotgun!" He yelled and Kanari-hito eploded.
Yusuke panted and ran to the God, picking him up. The shot missed everthing important, hitting him just in the plain shoulder, so Yusuke hugged him. Koenma moaned in pain and shoved him away. "It hurts!" He cried out. "Sorry. We're almost there, Botan can help heal you." He let the God lean on him and they made their way through the forest. They called Botan, telling her to be ready and found the portal. They jumped through and the hole was sealed. they arrived back and entered the castle. George fainted and Botan hugged the God, tears spraying everwhere. "You're alive!" She squealed and let him go, then gasped at his condition. She healed him, but was'nt able to completly .
"I hope the bastard died." She said and Yusuke nodded. "He was taken care of." George came around and went to hug his boss, but Kurama stopped him. "Better let him heal fully." He said and the ogre nodded. "Good idea." He settled for blubbering at the God's feet. Koenma wanted his pacifier and Yama walked in. "I see your back. So when are you going back to the office?" He demanded.
Yusuke scowled at him. "Fuck off! Is that all you care about!? Do you even care for your son!?" He yelled and Kuwabara stepped in. "Yeah! It's because you're too damn lazy and stupid to do the work yourself, so you put it on him! You don't even know what happened!" He said and Yama held up a hand. "Enough! Whatever it is, it's not as serious at work!" He barked.
All but Koenma saw the picture clear now. He just didn't care about his son, he only saw him as another employee. Yama looked at his son and snorted in disgust. "Clean yourself up, you look disgusting." Before anyone could react Koenma punched his father into the ceiling. Everyone stared with huge eyes. "God damn I hate you!" Koenma yelled. It took all of them to hold him back. "The chains effects must be wearing off." Hiei said, grunting and tried to keep the God back. When the hell did he get so strong!? The demon thought. Yama was laying, knocked out and Yusuke held Koenma back as well. "He's not worth it!" He said and Koenma stopped, and finally slumped. "I want a bath." He said and Botan patted his shoulder. "Yusuke can help you, don't worry." She said.
Yusuke turned red and Koenma seemed timid, untrusting. "He won't hurt you, trust me Yusuke isn't like that." Kurama assured him. Koenma nodded and Yusuke helped him. "I'll see you guys later." He said and waved. They walked to the Gods room, he was limping. Inside Yusuke whistled. "Nice." Koenma limped forward and Yusuke helped him again. "Run the water and I'll get my cloths." Koenma said.
Yusuke found the bathroom and put the plug in the giant bathtub. He filled it with warm water, almost hot and Koenma walked in with clean cloths. "Don't worry Koenma, I won't look. Just let me take these rags off your wrists." He slowly took the bloodied rags off and noticed they were better thanks to Botan. "They look pretty good." He said and the tub was filled. Yusuke shut off the water and turned to the side. "Just tell me when you need my help." He said.
Koenma started to undress, but couldn't really gett his pants off. "I can't get my pants off." He said, frustrated. Yusuke blushed again and carefully pulled them down, and tossed them in a corner to be burned. Yusuke stood up and tried not to look at the dried blood and cum on the God's backside. Koenma slowly went into the tub and sat with a wince. He took the scrub brush after a bit and scrubbed until his skin was red.
Yusuke took it from him. "I'll get your back." He said and Koenma allowed him. Yusuke grimaced at the bruises and pink water. He washed Koenma's back clean and turned away when he washed his behind. Finally he washed and rinsed his hair. "I'm ready to get out." He said and Yusuke grapped a fluffy towel, holding it up as the God stood.
He dried off and he had Yusuke help with his underware and pants. When he accidently touched his intimate parts Koenma jerked. "Shit! Sorry about that. I can fight but I can't dress people." He said and Koenma relaxed then put a shirt on. After the warm bath Koenma became exhausted and yawned. "I want to go to sleep." He said and Yusuke nodded. "Yeah, I don't blame you. I think I'll go to sleep after this myself." The spirit detective stretched.
Yusuke helped into the bedroom and on the bed. "Well I think I'm gonna go." He said but Koenma grabbed his arm. "Don't go. I don't want to be alone right now." He said, his eyes darting around the room and Yusuke's eyes went large in suprise. "Sure." He said and there was a knock. Yusuke opened it, the gang plus Botan and George stood outside. "He's dozing off. He wants me to stay. I think he's afraid that someone is going to take him again."
They understood and patted his arm. Kuwabara nodded. "Hope he feels better soon. I know it's going to take awhile." He said and they took off. Botan informed Shizuru? and Kayko about the events. Yusuke curled up in the bed next to Koenma, who was snuggled in the pillow asleep. "I hope you sleep well, you need it. There was so many things that you did that irritated the hell out of me at the beginning. But now you've grown on me." He said and yawned, turning over. "I always wanted to say that I don't hate you but...love you." Yusuke said falling asleep.
