Chapter 4

The Sheriff's office was busy with cops running around and telephones ringing off the hook. Detective Yusuke Urameshi, sat behind his desk, files of missing people were stacked on his desk, papers were all over the place. He was alseep , his dark hair
that was usually slicked back was all over the place. He had stayed a couple of nights at his office trying to figure out what happened to the missing family that had disappeared without a trace. And other people who have turned up missing. Photots of crime scene were scattered all over the desk.

The sound of the door opened as a fellow cop walked into his office, he shook his head in
digust. He walked over toward Yusuke's desk, kicking the end of his desk causing Yusuke to fly from his desk. " Shit Jake what the fuck do you want?" Yusuke said setteling down
in his chair, He sighed running a hand through his dark hair. Jake Ramirez was not much older then Yusuke was, He had blue eyes and sandy blonde hair that came to his chin. He wore a pair of jeans and a white muscle shirt, a gun holster was strapped to his waist, he wore jacket over it.

Jake smirked and crossed his arms over chest. " Jesus Yusuke what the hell have you been doing... your office looks like shit. You been cooped up in this office for 48 hours you need to get out and do something." Yusuke raised his weary eyes to Jake. " I don't have time to do anything Jake, i have all this shit to do." Jake shook his head. " Come on man you keep this up your gonna work yourself to death, it's not good for you, at least take a shower." He said said as he walked over taking a seat infront of Yusuke's desk. Yusuke leaned back in his chair, he picked up a file from his desk and began to look through it.

" Have you seen the lastest crime scene, Huh? They found a 21 year old man hacked to pieces and his bloody body parts were thrown everywhere near the old DeadWood house,
doesn't that sound odd?" Jake snatched the file from Yusuke's hands. "Look man i know all about that, but look at you, you haven't slept in two days, you need to get some sleep, and about this family that lives in the DeadWood house, how are you even sure that they had anything to do with this guy's death, have you ever met the Ishtar family?" Yusuke looked up at his partner. "No, i haven't." He said, as pulled out a pack of cigarettes and placed it firmly between his lips. he stumbled for his lighter, finding it in his back pocket and lit it up, and slowly inhaled it and then exhaled. a puff of smoke drifted up around him.

Jake watched him, and shook his head. "The Ishtar family is one big christain family, they
always mind their own business, they're a nice family." He said waving a hand infront of him, trying to keep the smoke away from him. " That doesn't mean anything if they're christain or not, oh they look like a nice family... but you have no idea what's behind closed doors, i bet they're competely different people when they are alone." Yusuke said flicking ashes to the floor.

Jake stood from the seat he was in. "What the hell do you mean, Yusuke i don't think..."
Before he could finish, Yusuke cut him off. " Remeber that Togashi girl, everyone thought she was the sweetest thing, she couldn't harm a fly on the wall, intill we found out that she was keeping young men in her closet claiming that they were hers and they must be punished, so kept them in the fucking closet Jake and tortured them. So what the fuck do you think this Ishtar family is like, i doubt they are sweet as they seem to be and i'm going to prove that." Yusuke said pushing his chair back standing up and started over toward the door grabbing his coat.

"What are you gonna do? Yusuke come on don't get into something you have no clue about." Jake yelled after his friend. Yusuke stopped and turned toward his partner. " Jake, this isn't the first time i have gotten into something like this. I'm just going to found out exactly what goes on in that house, i know they had something to do with all these murders, and i do have some clue of what i'm doing." Yusuke said putting on his coat.
"What do you mean, you know." Jake said confused. "Ok i met one of the Ishtar family.... The mother Midoriko Ishtar, she told me things, things about that family that can help, only if i can just prove it."

Jake put his hands out infront of him, doing a helpless gesture. "Whoa! Whoa! I thought you said you never met any of them, now you say you did, what the fuck? So what did Mrs. Ishtar have to say?" Jake said crossing his arms. " I don't know Jake ok, she came up here a few weeks ago and would come to my office, she needed to talk to someone... about her family. You know what she told me? She told me ever since she married Bakura her life has been a living hell, that her kids seemed to loath her whom used to be loyal and loving. She even saw her youngest daughter and her her oldest son having sex in the bathroom, when she told them to stop, Bakura came he beat the shit out of her, said she he beat her and dragged her back into they're room and raped her. Fucking christ Jake, her whole family is incest." Yusuke said his face showed the disgust that he felt.

Jake looked a little sick, he was more pale the usual. " My god Yusuke, how the fuck you know she was telling the truth, that she wasn't just some fucking nut." Yusuke put out his cigarette and blew out a puff of smoke. " She was telling the truth Jake, she was scared to death." Jake nodded. "Fine, i'm with you on this one Yusuke, from all the crazy shit you ever did this one would top them all." Yusuke smirked as he pulled out his gun from his desk, and placed it in his holster. "Alright, then let's go." Jake sighed as he followed his partner out the door.

Yusuke: Finally i come into this.

Naomi: See i told you i wasn't going to leave you out of it.

Yusuke: So what happens when i come to the house?

Naomi: I'm not telling you that.

Yusuke: I better not get killed.

Naomi: Your not going to get killed Yusuke, and Iie i wont tell you because it would spoil it.

Yusuke: No it wont! Why can't i be part of the family.

Naomi: -.- Yusuke i told you already, just shut up and sit down!!

Yusuke: But i wanna be.....

Naomi: Iie, shut up.

Yusuke: This isn't fair!

Naomi: ::::Eye starts to twitch::::: Goddamn it Yusuke stop your whining before i let someone get ahold of you.

Yusuke: Dear god not Karasu.

Naomi: If you don't shut up i'll set him loose.

Naomi: Good, now i'm going to go and try to start my next chapter.
