Scene 3
Okay. Here's the next three exciting installments. They're short ones, but they need to come closely together. I may add a fourth later today if I can get back on. Hope you enjoy.

Scene 3 --------------------- Spirit World
* George turns to his busy Prince from his tracking station.
George- Sir,..!
Koenma- Is he moving again?
George- Yes, sir.. Toward Alaric, finally.
* Koenma lays his stamper aside, shifts into his Teen form as he stands, and goes over beside George. He silently watches the moving blip a few moments.
Koenma- If he keeps that speed up he’ll be at Alaric by tomorrow.
* The Royal Teen then looks at another radar screen. The thin beam of light just circles continuously. Silent and unbroken.
Koenma- How could she just.. disappear?
George- She has to be under a heavy barrier.. Or warded perhaps.
Koenma- As far as I could tell, she had no unusual Spiritual level that would make a demon think she needs to be warded.
* George looks up at Koenma thoughtfully.
George- Has to be somebody that knows of her importance.. and what Hiei’s about to do.
* Koenma rubs his chin.
George- Whoever it is, they’re obviously not harming her. I mean you’ve got no reports or alerts concerning her or the baby. Right?
* Koenma looks down at the big blue ogre.
Koenma- No. Not that I’ve noticed.. But that’s not necessarily good news, Ogre.. It could be somebody that’s planning to use her against Hiei once he..
George- There, again, it would have to be someone who knows that Mukuro has passed.
* Koenma turns and clenches his hands behind him as he paces away thoughtfully.
Koenma- Very few even know.. Hiei and his new pack..
George- She wasn’t with Hiei when you went to see him yesterday.
Koenma- No. And, apparently, he seems to have a pretty good control on that region.. Then there’s everyone in the bug, of course..
George- We haven’t got any report from Kirin..
* Just then the ‘Incoming Message’ alert beeps on the computer monitor. Koenma sighs then waves George to quickly accept the call.
George- Great timing. It’s General Kirin.. But the signal’s unstable because of your barrier, sir.
* Koenma turns to face his large screen TV as George patches the call to it. Kirin’s helmeted face fuzzes into view. It is slightly distorted due to the strong barrier Koenma’s ordered around the fortress.
Kirin- Lord Ko-ma.
Koenma- Have you taken stock of your men, General?
Kirin- Ev-ry.. All.. -sent.. Nobod.. –sing here.. No one.. left since.. ent up.
* Koenma hears enough of the message to get the idea.
Kirin- No comm..-tion in or..
* Koenma holds up a hand.
Koenma- Alright, General.. Maintain. Lord Hiei is on his way there now. He should arrive sometime tomorrow. Do you understand?
* After a moment the General nods and the screen goes black. Koenma gives a quiet curse.
Koenma- He’s right. Nobody could get through that barrier I put up around that bug.
George- And that was the first communication by wire in or out according to the monitoring records.
* Koenma continues his anxious pacing, keeping time with his suckling of his new and improved Maafuken.
Koenma- I inspected around that garden and the entire perimeter of Genkai’s shrine. There was no signature and no sign of a struggle.
George- If a strange demon had entered the area and used any kind of energy to take her Kuwabara and Yukina would have felt it.
* Koenma stops pacing and his temple throbs.
Koenma- They were too busy acting like a pair of hormonal teenagers, Ogre!
George- But the Human’s powers have increased greatly since he doesn’t have Yusuke to rely on in Human World. He would’ve felt something.
* Koenma considers George’s words a couple moments. Then sighs deeply.
Koenma- Yusuke.
* George turns to look at Koenma.
George- You told him about Mukuro.
Koenma- Yes.. But would he..? Why would he..?
George- He wouldn’t harm her. He knows that she’s carrying Hiei’s baby.
* Koenma suckles his pacifier a bit quicker.
Koenma- George, I have no other options at this point.. Open a portal near Yusuke.. I need to tell him what’s happened at least.
* George types in the coordinates from memory. When the swirling oval expands Koenma steps through.
