Scene 3
Don't forget to review, please. :o) I've got this one all wrote out. It's looking to be around 70 some scenes. Hope that's not too long. Enjoy the journey. :o) I know some of my decisions may not please everyone, but it is my baby. I'm not going to be doing any apologizing for scene lengths. They are what they are. :o)

Scene 3 ------------------------------------------- Human World
* After having received the page on her beeper, Botan hurried to the address that was included. She steps into a small hospital room through the only window. The ferry girl pauses sadly as she watches the white-coated man straighten and look up at a clock.
Doctor- T.O.D., four-fifty-eight pm.
* As he writes the time on his clipboard a nurse pulls the sheet up over Shizuru's face.
Nurse- What now, Doctor?
Doctor- According to the files I pulled on Miss. Kuwabara she had a DNR stip, so my hands were tied. She also states that she's to be cremated so I'll go call her funeral director.
Nurse- Such a tragedy for her to die in such a random act..
* When the two leave, continuing to chat about the terrible, but strange circumstances, Botan moves up to the bed with her urn ready.
Botan- Oh, Shizuru.. What happened?
* Sadly, she pulls the sheet back to look down into Shizuru's pale, peaceful face.
Botan- Oh dear.. I wonder what's happened to Kasaba?
* Botan quickly touches Shizuru's forehead, gathers her spirit when it floats up out of her body, then leaves on her oar. The ferry girl knows that time is important in getting information from Shizuru's spirit.
