Chapter 3
It's been a month now since Atsuko and Koenma started sleeping together, Yusuke now knew none of the neibhorhood men were her boyfriend. With a sigh he flopped next to Hiei, Kurama and Kuwabara on the grass. They were in Spirit World and bored, mainly bored with Yusuke complaining about his mother.
"Yusuke! If you really want to know ask your mom!" Kurama said, rubbing his temples in irritation. "But she won't say. I know she won't, I just know." Hiei rolled his eyes and growled. "Well then stop bitching to us about it if your not going to do anything about it." Yusuke stood up glaring. "Well fucking excuse meeeee!" He left them, going home for some answers.
When he arrived Atsuko raised an eyebrow when he slammed the door shut and stomped in. "Uh...something wrong Yusuke?" She asked and he sat down, staring. "Mom. I'm only going to ask you this once. Who the hell is your boyfriend? WHO!?" Atsuko looked for a moment. "A ghost."
"MOM! Damn it, I'm serious! I need to know!" Yusuke yelled and she smiled at him. "Is it someone I know?" She nodded. "Around here?" She shook her head no. "Well who the hell is it!?" Atsuko drank a bit of her coffee. "Promise you won't get mad and go after him?" Yusuke nodded fast but crossed his toes. "Yeah I promise."
"Your boss Koenma." Yusuke fell over, and got up with bigger eyes than ever. "WHAT!? Koenma!?" Atsuko nodded. "Yep. He's also really good in the sack. Really really good. Mmmm." Yusuke screamed. "Gross! Oh Koenma!!!" Atsuko grabbed his shirt. "Yusuke...you promised." Yusuke snorted and pulled free. "I lied!" He ran out of the house and hurriede to Spirit World.
He made it to Koenma's office and the God stared as he burst in with his Spirit Gun charged. "You sick bastard! My mom!?" He got a shot off and Koenma screamed, dodging out of the way. "Yusuke. Calm down Yusuke." Koenma held up his hands and Yusuke shot off another one. The God used his barrier to ward it off. "Yusuke. Stop this! She's a grown woman and can make decisions for herself!" He yelled and Yusuke growled. "Fuck you! You should have at least told me you were interested."
"Hey Yusuke, don't do this. Don't do this to your mother. What will she do if she knew you came after me with blazing Spirit Guns?" Yusuke paused, putting down his hand and Koenma put down his barrier. "She would be pissed. But I won't kill you." Yusuke punched the God in the face and Koenma hit the wall hard. "I'll just make sure you won't touch her." He grabbed Koenma and was about to slug him when the God bit his hand.
Yusuke yelled and Koenma backed away. A tower loomed over Yusuke and he looked around to see what it was. Yama stood behind him, fury written plain as day on his face and Yusuke noticed that Koenma wasn't intimitated by him, but his own father. "Get out half breed. I need to talk to Koenma." Yusuke huffed and glared. "Don't call me that! So help me...."
"Don't Yusuke." Koenma warned. "Just leave. Atsuko needs at least one of us in her life." Koenma went over to him quickly and pushed him out before Yama closed the doors. Yusuke banged on them and finally gave up going away. 'What did he mean by that?' He thought and left.
"Koenma. I've heard about your little...tryst with that human woman. You know she is the mother of that disgusting half breed!? You are a disappointment! To lay down with human female when you could choose any goddess you want. It's just disgusting and humiliating!" Yama yelled and Koenma stood firm. "I love her father! You can't change my feelings for her! I don't care if she's a human! I rather be with her than any whore you ever slept with!"
Yama slammed his giant fist, punching him into the ground. "You dare to speak at me like that!? I chose only elite females to bare my children not some...lower class life form like you!" Koenma used his barrier again as his father went to strike him a second time. His fist impacted the sheild and Yama was thrown back through the wall and dazed. "You just wait Koenma. You, that half breed and that woman better watch out." Yama said and picked himself up, leaving. Koenma sighed and sagged. 'Atsuko.'
Yusuke arrived home and Atsuko grabbed him. "What did you do!?" She shook him and he yelled. "Stop it mom!" She glared and held his shirt tighter. "You did something. What was it?" Yusuke found the ground interesting and began. "I went to Koenma, fired some shots at him, hit him...." Atsuko shook him again. "Yusuke stop this! He's the nicest man I've ever been with before. He never yells at me, he never hits me or force me to do anything." She said and Yusuke sighed.
'Shit. What did I do? She's right. Koenma isn't a bad guy, just...weird. Really weird. He does seem to be the best boyfriend she ever had. Now his father is pissed about something.' Yusuke thought. 'I guess he is find of like a cross between an older brother and a father.' He sighed again and Atsuko watched him. "I'm sorry mom."
"Go apologize to him Yusuke." She said. "I don't know if I can. His father wanted to talk to him. He seemed rather pissed about something." Atsuko checked her watch. "Just go and do it. See how he is. I've got to run, don't get in trouble. Go, see him." She said and left. 'Man, how am I suppose to face him after what I did?' Yusuke sat down and wasn't sure if he should go or not.
