Chapter 3: A First Date/ Deception?

*****

The rest of his classes dragged by tortuously slow. He only had two more classes after the bathroom incident, and he couldn’t stand them, he just wanted to get home and get ready for his and Hiei’s date…was it really a date? Would Hiei consider it that? It wasn't right, was it? Hiei was still 'technically' a student, right? He snapped out of his thoughts just long enough to focus on teaching his class, who in turn, was actually lost in their day dreams about the teacher…even some of the boys, who had thought that their sensei was a lot prettier than the girls in the class.

Actually, when he finally got home he had no idea what to do. He ended up just making dinner.

It was about 6:00 when he finished cooking, cleaning, and setting the table. He decided to take a shower and change into something he thought that Hiei might like, but that was kind of hard to figure out, because the demon seemed just fine with him in his suit and tie from school. While he went through his closet trying on everything, he tried to figure out how Hiei had known his address. He was a demon, he could have tracked his ki… he eventually settled on his yellow Chinese ankle length tunic, and nicely fitted green pants that matched his eyes.

He was brushing his bright red mane, leaving it down for the night. He remembered the way Hiei had seemed almost entranced by it when they had first met. Back then his hair was only down to his shoulders (Yes, I know that's not true), now it settled just over his butt. He was almost done when he heard a knocking at his window. Red eyes blazed against the night sky. Questioningly, Kurama opened the window, and his little fire demon student jumped in, now wearing his black clothes from the Makai, they were the same from when he had first met him.

“Are you done grooming yet?” Hiei grunted as he handed him a bottle of wine from the Makai, expensive stuff, too, Kurama noted, at least 1000 years old.

“Hiei San,” Kurama scolded seductively, taking the bottle, “have you been watching me this whole time?”

“Yeah, I got a boner watching you change.”

“Boner?” Kurama raised and eyebrow, looking over the shorter boy, “I think you’ve been in the Ningenkai for way too long.”

“Hn, it’s your fault.”

“What?”

“I was waiting for you to notice the fire demon sitting in the back of your 6th period class everyday for almost a year now.”

Kurama blushed, feeling a little stupid for missing something such as that, “Oh, umm, why don’t we go eat, and you can fill me in on what’s been going on in the Makai, hm?”

They ate and talked for two hours straight about Kurama's old home world. Who was in power, current, recent, and some past wars, and some other miscellaneous subjects. They talked about Hiei’s life as a bandit and an assassin. They also went into detail about why Hiei had attacked him almost 10 years ago.

“Hiei?” Kurama sipped the amazingly strong wine, Hiei had brought, “Why didn’t you come back after our fight? I mean, until now…”

Hiei shrugged, “Like you said, I’m stubborn.”

“So, why now?”

“I was able to control these- these urges,” he said, disgusted, replacing the word ‘feelings,’ “For years I had jobs to keep me busy… my training as well.”

“And then…?”

“I got a message from Yomi.”

“Yomi? My old boss?”

“And lover…” Hiei growled, his voice dry, “almost a year ago I received the orders to come to the Ningenkai for a Youko disguised as a lovely red headed human boy, named Kurama.”

“Wait!” Kurama stood suddenly, sending his chair to the ground, “You’re here to assassinate me? What? Was there some kind of poison in the wine? Did he say tha the’d pay you more if you brought back my body unmarred?”

“No!” Hiei stood as well reaching a hand out for the other demon, worry easily read in his eyes.

“Then why did you come?” he backed away from the offering, not sure what was going on.

“Damn it! How many times do I have to tell you that I like you?” he managed to calm himself, “besides Yomi asked for your capture, not your death.”

“Great, so you’re only here to imprison me, and bring me back to that rapist?” the red head backed up to the dresser behind him, reaching for a rose in the vase decorating the table.

“If I were here for that, I would already have you bound and gagged and be half way to Yomi’s castle.”

“You’re a cocky little demon,” green eyes narrowed into dangerous slits.

“You could say that,” he gave Kurama a seductive little smirk.

Kurama felt himself blush against his will as he grasped at the rose behind him tightly getting ready to send his energy through it, but Hiei must have sensed his youki, because in the blink of an eye the little demon was right in front of him, his arms wrapped around the other’s waist, and with a little tug, took the rose.

“See, Kurama?” Hiei sniffed at it then brushed the silken petals over the other demon’s cheek before putting on the table before running his hand through the red hair, while his other hand held Kurama firmly against him, “You’ve slowed since you were 14.”

After a second of thought, Kurama nodded, and gave into the hug, and leaned into the hand caressing his face. Pulling his arms free, draped them over the shorter demon’s shoulders, and bent down for a kiss, but Hiei suddenly pulled away.

Hiei slid his hands over the arms resting on him to the softer hands on his back, grabbing the hands he led Kurama into the next room to the couch, forcing the Youko to sit down, the fire demon straddled the other’s thighs. Suddenly their tongues were entangled, slipping and sliding against one another sensually. Hiei already had the top buttons on Kurama's vest opened, and was playing with the muscular chest underneath that the vest had been hiding. Kurama's hand were pulling at the white scarf and black cloak, leaving only the black tank, which he worked his hands up into for the smooth, muscled back; clawing at it a little, leaving pale red marks where his nails pressed into the pale but burning hot flesh.

They pulled away for air, but Hiei continued his track down to Kurama's chin and up his jaw line to one of Kurama's ear, nibbling on it lightly, he pulled away and blew on it. Shivers ran through the taller boy’s body.

“Hiei, I can’t,” the teacher pushed the horny demon off of him once more, so that they were sitting next to one another on the couch, “This is a little too weird. I’ve seen you as a student so much. It’s just…it feels… it’s morally wrong, even if you aren’t really a student.”

“Stupid human,” Hiei huffed, and sat back on the long legs again, starting straight into the bright green eyes with his serious red ones.

Kurama flinched at being called a human, he’d never really thought of himself as such, and never been called it so coldly. He had to admit that he didn’t really care for it, but he had grown accustom to their lifestyle. He truly loved his mother, who had taught him to love, and loved him just as much, if not more. But he still didn’t like being called a human, much less a stupid human.

Begging for a changes in subject, “Why me?”

“I- What do you mean?”

“You met me once almost 10 years ago. Why do you like me so much?”

Hiei looked into the large emerald eyes once more before leaning closer again, resting his chin on Kurama's shoulder, and whispered, “I’m- I’m a forbidden child… You figured that when you first met me… But even after I tried to kill you, y-you still took care of me… helped me to heal. No one has ever been that… that nice to me… I never forgot that, or you.”

“Mmm,” Kurama buried his nose in the smoke and pine smell of the little youkai’s dark spiky hair.

Hiei started to nibble on Kurama's ear again, and then kiss down his neck, “Now it’s your turn,” he mumbled.

“Huh?” Kurama tried to look at the demon hidden under his chin marking a trail down his neck to the opening in the vest, “You’re the one who came to me, and you didn’t even know if I liked you, ne?”

“Not really,” he leaned closer to flick his tongue over a rosy pink nipple.

“Mngh,” Kurama arched into the mouth, holding back a strangled cry.

Hiei smiled into the chest as he started to attack the nipple a little more aggressively, using his teeth.

“Do, ah, you want an answer, or, mngh, not,” he managed to huff.

“Sure,” he shrugged, barely took his lips off the creamy skin as he moved to attack the other nipple.

“Then stop that!” he pushed the fire demon off of him.

With a final lick, Hiei sat up to face the very flushed fox, very proud that he had caused such a reaction.

“I think,” he kissed the bandana that he remembered covered the boy’s third eye, “you have a really bad attitude, you,” another kiss to the demon’s button nose, “are a killer, and you’re really, really,” he landed on the lips that were starting to form a scowl, “cute.”

“I am not cute,” Hiei growled.

“Oh, yes, you are,” without warning, Kurama flipped the little demon under him on the couch, pulling off the black tank top, “See? Cute.”

“I’m not cute!” he stated.

“Alright, alright, you’re really,” he kissed the nipple, “really,” lick, “hot.”

“Mm-hm,” Hiei arched into the mouth, “Ah!”

Kurama had just started ravishing the smaller boy’s torso when…

Knock. Knock. Knock.

“Bah! Who’s that?” Hiei hissed, sitting up on his elbows to glare at the doorway, as if trying to set the thing on fire, which he actually could if he really wanted.

“I don’t know,” Kurama lapped at the chest, whispering, “keep quiet, and they should go away.”
