She had used what was most of her stored energy, to knock this Yomi imposter off of her. She drug herself up to the bored of the bed; she had never used weapons before. And had now been glad, that Hiei decided to keep a spare katana at the bed side. She quickly unshed it was obviously that she wasn’t proficient in the weapon, as it almost shook in her hand. “Show your identity now,” she called as a threat; as the creature that appeared as Yomi laughed.

After the embrace, she released him and looked at him; running her fingers down the two gems. “This is proof that I was right all along,” she said as she had already healed the wounds, and buttoned his cape again. She felt a strong since of energy, move past her as his arm glew with youki energy; and then a few moments later, and the dragon appeared on his arm. “I was wondering when you would return,” She called to the design on is arm, and then began to wrap the wound. Placing the ban aids and wards on the arm, making it look as if he never took it off.

“Slow down Kuwabara!” Yusuke screamed, as he attempted to catch up to the large human. Yusuke swore up and down, that Kuwabara couldn’t be human; his speed could be so fast and his spirit awareness was great. And had no trouble, keeping up with the other demons, though he needed a couple brakes in between. “I cant my Yukina could be in trouble!” he responded, as he had ran up the stairs; and out the very long hallway.

Yusuke had been to busy, attempting to rack his brain; to notices that he carrot top had stopped dead in his tracks. Yusuke ran into the large human, but surprising not moving him one inch. “What the hell happened?” he asked, as he saw almost a 300 dead demons covering the hallway floor. What confused him more was that they were Mukuro’s men. They had been wearing the purple and red, “Do you see this Urameshi?” he asked.

“See what?” Yusukue asked, in an annoyed voice looking down the hallway; where they came from making sure no one had witnessed his embarrassment. He then stepped beside his large friend, “Wow what the hell? And there our men to” he said out loud, as he walked over attempting to see what killed these things. “There all burn,” he observed as he kicked one of the dead solders.

“I can since Yukina!” he said loudly, as he began to walk forward. “Hold on there lover boy, is she in any kind of trouble?” Yusukue asked. “No,” Then lets find out who killed these men, before we go and get Yukina alright?” Yusuke looked back, to see Kuwabara who was running down the hallway. “Did you even hear a thing I said!” He yelled as, he followed the love sick idiot.”

After fixing the ban aid, she had felt the “String” pulling on her pinky finger. She then looked down the hallway, seeing Kazuma and Yusuke; they were in shock that all the demons had been killed. And from what she could hear, they were attempting to find the person behind this, Yukina was now thankful of her demon abilities, she had bee aware of them before they had been aware of her. She sat beside Hiei, as she had attempted to wake him again. “Hiei wake up,” She called quietly to the sleeping demon, who just turned quickly to avoid her voice, she giggled at this.

she still had attempted to wake up Hiei, as the boys grew closer; she thought it would be a better idea; to have him explain this to them then have her attempt to explain it “Hiei,” she said again, he moved his head back; she looked up as they were almost beside them “Brother wake up!” she said, as her eyes widened for some reason, this woke Hiei up he shot up from his position on the wall, to almost a standing position. “What did you say?” he asked, in almost a threaten tone “I Uhh” She attempted to defend herself, when Kuwabara stopped beside them.

“Are you alright Yukina?” Kuwabara asked as he got on his knees, as he checked on Yukina with eyes, his hands respecting her to much to use his hands “Yes Kazuma I am fine, Hiei here saved me from the large swarm of demons.” “What was a large swarm of or men doing out of the shacks, and why were there attempting to attack?” Yusukue thought out loud, as he stared at the dead bodies. “I’m guessing from the way the body look, Hiei you were the one that killed them huh?” he said in almost a joking tone.

The look that Hiei had given Yusukue it was obviously that he wasn’t in the mood for a joke, Hiei had just heard Yukina call him brother, he wanted to know witch of the human scum bags that he would have to kill. First to his mind was that baka Kuwabara, but then he remembered that he was just a s clueless ad Yukina was suppose to be. The only ones that knew were Yusuke, Kurama, Botan and Koenma. it had to be that blue haired bimbo, he hand noticed that her and Yukina had been close friends, and that woman couldn’t keep a secret. “Wow Hiei what got into you?” Yusuke replied to the dirty look.

Kuwabara as always slow to the draw, “Hey what are you doing with Yukina anyways?” he asked, as he became all defensive over her. “We simply met in the halls,” Yukina stood up for her brother; she had sensed that his anger was up. And need to calm him down quickly, before time repeats it self. “It is none of your business fool, you are not her mate none of your concern.” “Oh yeah? Well what makes it your concern?” Kuwabara yelled back.


“Do you have any idea, what had been going on?” Kurama asked, as he stood between the larger men. “I do not know, you see since sir Yomi and Shura had taken over my room. I have been down with our men,” Kirin said as he was interrupted by Shigure, “Yes the same thing has happened to myself, I never thought I would have to give up my own room and bunk with the commoners. But I am honored, to give my room to the king and his wife. He said. “But nothing strange has been going on, just common fights over card games and fights over who is the strongest.” Kirin said

“Until last night, I felt a strange energy; I had been working in my lab; preparing for Mukuro’s delivery. It was nothing that I have felt before, I don’t remember much after that, I had fallen unconscious before I could defend my self. I when I awoke nothing was missing, I alerted some guards, for extra guards for the night,” Shigure was interrupted as he and the others stared.

They couldn’t believe there eyes, the entrance to the fortress; the one they and worked so hard to keep secure. The doors appeared that they had been torn open, and in the mess it looked as there guards had been killed, either smashed from the fore of the door, or killed in combat. “Were under attack!” Kurama called

Now his leader instinct kicking in, “Kirin I need you to get and secure the area and warn the others out on patrol, about the invasion. Shigure get a hold of our remaining guards, and put and rebuild or forces”. The men beside him nodded, as they separated taking different positions.

“I need to get to the others,” he thought as he back tracked; and headed back to wing 103. “And just when I thought it couldn’t get worse” he said lowly to himself he looked down to se see at least 300 of there men dead in on the hallway floor, he had knelt down to take a better look, the bodies smelt of burnt flesh. “If I am correct, this looks to be the attack of Hiei, he said as he looked down the hallway, he could sense the humans as easily as Yukina could and also could hear Kuwabara fighting with Hiei.

“at least there safe” he thought again as he quickly made his way around the bodies and also wondering what in the world Kuwabara and Hiei could be auguring about now. “and what makes you more important then me?” Kuwabara asked as he had gotten off his knees and preparing to hit the already angry demon. “Please don’t fight” Yukina said as she stood between the two. “He is my br...Friend” she corrected herself. And we all need to stick together.” She said her large soft red eyes now catching the heart of Kuwabara. “Fine” he called as Kurama arrived.

“Fox,” Hiei said as he glared at him. Kurama could tell something was eating at the fire demon. “Do any of you have an idea of what is going on?” he asked, as he looked a the four of them. “Nope” Yusukue said quickly, “I was just about to ask you the same thing. “He stood from leaning on the wall, as his eyes widen and Kuwabara shivered. “Something is wrong.” Kuwabara said as he almost looked in shock. “It’s here” He said in a low voice “What is Kuwabara. “That strange felling I feel it again,” he shivered.

Hiei had just realized that he had left his pregnant mate alone on her own, he then disspared as quickly as he appeared, making his way up the stairs towards Mukuro’s chambers knowing that his twin would be safe with Kurama. not much more was said by Kuwabara as he then followed Hiei up the stairs, though he couldn’t beat the small rogue he was on his tail leaving the two demons, and half demon stunned with out a second thought they followed them up the stairs “Spirit sword” Could be heard echoing though the walls. Kurama and Yusukue took this time to prepare the own weapons, as they reached the top they saw a large amount of demons that had flooded the halls, the demons had been a distraction so the larger demons could enter. Obviously keep them busy, Hiei began to slash easily though the demons. “Mukuro!” He called, as he then was pushed back against the wall by a larger demon.

Mukuro could hear Hiei though the doors, as he called her name. “What in the hell is going on here?” she said loudly, “Wow you ask a lot of questions don’t you,” he said as he walked close to her. She held the blade as steady as possible, as she attempted slash at the man. “He quickly dogged the blade, as he placed a small plant on the back of her neck. she felt a light tingling sensation go down her body; as her eyes grew heavy. The man smirked as he touched her belly again. feeling the connection between the child and him. Now that was an accomplished, it was his time to leave.

Now with the help of the others, Hiei could help fighting off the demons. he jumped back from the wall as he lunged forward; taking the demon’s head off. He now managed to make it closer to the chamber, as he was then blocked by a larger demon. He lunged forward and stabbed it in the chest, as he looked up he couldn’t believe his eyes, he saw Yomi running out of Mukuro’s chambers.

He reeked of Mukuro’s sent; there was no doubt in his mind; that he had his way with Mukuro in her weakened. State she couldn’t fight him off, the rage could feel the angry youki of the fire demon, as he then quickly chased after Yomi. As soon as Kurama felt Hiei’s rage he looked up, seeing the fire demon running after something. He quickly ran to the hall way, to see Hiei running after. “Was that Yomi?” He asked himself as he blinked attempting to get a better look be for he turned the Corner. He looked back towards the door as he saw yukina pulling the big doors open.

Kurama didn’t have to say much more, when Kuwabara followed the young ice demon into Mukuro’s chambers. he looked to Yusuke, who was killing the last demon with his foot. It was as if they had a telepathic link. Yusuke nodded, Kurama wasn’t aware of witch situation Yusukue was going to deal with, but right now he need to know what was going on with Yomi and Hiei.

Yukina quickly opened the door, the room smelt strong of sex making the ice maiden’s nose cringe back. She ran to the unchous woman that was lying on the bed. “Mukuro” She called out, as she put her hands on the former demon lord. “She’s cold?” she looked to Kuwabara, whose nose was cringing as well. “Ewe this stinks,” he said as he covered his nose. “Kazuma, we have no time she is ill.”

“What did you say?” Yoda asked in almost a shocked tone, “he’s not breathing you old fool!” he ran back to his father, Yoda was beside him, “Ignorant child he is breathing, but his pulse is so low and that stench.” he said as he put Yomi’s arm down. “What do you think happened to him?” Shura said fright on his face,” he has been poisoned; by what substance I do not know. we will have to take him down to my lab for testing. “There is no time; we are in the middle of battle.” “what!” Yoda screamed, “Fool army is not strong with out its commander! We will lose for sure, hurry out and command or troops. I will see what I can do with him.” Yoda commanded Shura reliantly nodded, he wanted to stay at his father’s side. But knew he would get grief, if he were to disobey the elder demon.

Shura ran down the stairs, as he prepared to fight the demons off; to the best of his ability. but then he noticed that the troop marched forward, his men had been killed; and they were heading to the centipede, where his sick father lay. “Yoda there coming this way” the pre teen screamed “great,” he moaned “Shura come closer” Shura obeyed, I need you to get your father and get away from the vehicles as fast as possible. “What are you going to do?” Shura asked as he saw Yoda pull out the small box from his fathers pocket.

“I do not care how far you get with him, make sure you cover his ears; they are extremely sensitive to sound. And if not covered properly, he will be useless.” Shura nodded as he took his large father, and attempted to press his weight against his body; as he carried his father down the stairs and out the door. he wasn’t sure what medication Yoda had given him, but it smelt almost mint. “Hang on father”

He had made great passé as he made it into the forest, there wasn’t much left but he had figured that the trees and bushes could help block the sound. He then began to prepare to protect his father’s ears. He looked around for items he could use, not wanting to use anything that might cause an infection later, he took his belt off and ripped into pieces and began to stuff them into his fathers ears.

“He did this with great passé, as he was terrified that he wouldn’t be ready. And because of him making his father useless. He had been standing over Yomi, but there were no signs of life he still laid there limp. He then felt the earth felt like it was dropping, and the sound would come quickly after. To better insure that his father would be safe, he stuck his fingers in his ears pushing the cloth father.

He then heard the sound, it was ear piecing he hadn’t though to cover his own ears; in fear for his fathers ears. Shura began to breath heavy, he as now sitting on the lap. of his non responsive father, he was cold and his chest was not moving. Tears of fright and sorrow began to fall down the small warriors face, “No father please don’t leave me.” he said as he continued to cover his fathers ears.

“Only moments after saying those words, he felt cool large hand covering his ears. He looked up to see his father, a small smirk on his face; as he now was covering Shura’s ears. “ Father” The pre teen said happily, a big smile on his face, shortly after the sound had died, and Shura uncovered his fathers ears, Yomi doing the same. It has been quite those few moments, that the had adjusted to sound again.

“Shura have you been crying?” Yomi asked as he had gotten the last piece of cotton out of his ears. “No” Shura lied, as he attempted to get self back together. “You’re a horrible liar you know that?” Yomi said, with a light tone to his voice.

Shura sat there speechless, as he just looked back at his father. “I was worried you were dead okay?” he said as he attempted to defend himself, “I was not scolding you for it” Yomi said back. “Do you know where we are?” he asked his son “No, We were being surrounded and Yoda told me, to get as far away from the vehicle as possible; and to cover your ears.

“He used the new bomb.” Yomi said as he then sighed. “I do hope the old man wasn’t foolish and died along with the enemy.” “Well do you want to go see what happened, I think I remember the way back” Shura said, as he began walking Yomi slowly keeping up with him. “Is that Hiei I see in the distance?” Shura said aloud as he squinted “Hiei over here!” Shura screamed making Yomi wince.

“Something is wrong,” Yomi said as he could feel the anger of the fire demon. “Stand your ground, I don’t think he his here on friendly terms” he said as he got in to defensive stance. Shura and not been able to since until he grew closer, also taking a defensive stance.
