Scene 24 ---------- Matsua's Complex
* Matsua is relaxing behind the desk in his office puffing on a fat cigar when Kuchki shows Koenma in.
Kuchki- He's here, Boss.
* Matsua remains relaxed, but opens his eyes. He sneers as he examines the dark-haired Teen who is swishing the thick smoke away from his nose.
Matsua- I can see that, Kuch. Leave us.
* Koenma attempts to stifle a choke as he watches Kuchki leave.
Matsua- I don't mince words,.. Junior.. Do we have a deal? Or do you have four dead demons?
Koenma- Actually, I have a better deal for you.. Release Kurama and his mates and I'll allow you and your.. business to continue.
* Matsua stays calm, but sizes Koenma up as he crushes out the cigar.
Matsua- My Papa didn't raise an idiot.. Did yours?
Koenma- No. He raised a good, clean son with a h--- of a lot better morals.
* Matsua chuckles as he stands.
Matsua- I gotta admit.. You got a lot of guts coming here alone.
Koenma- Who says I'm alone?
* Koenma motions toward the big picture window. Matsua goes over calmly to look out. He rubs his chin as he considers his next move.
Matsua- Hmm.. I believe those are called the SDF.
Koenma- Correct.
* Koenma takes a small triggering device out of his pants pocket.
Koenma- All I have to do is press this button..
Matsua- And I'm toast and the complex I've built here is ashes.
Koenma- Then we understand each other.
* Matsua nods, but still remains calm as he moves to his personal bar. It niggles Koenma that this guy still remains so calm.
Matsua- Drink to your victory?
Koenma- I don't drink.. hard stuff.
* Matsua shrugs, pours his own shot, downs it, then turns to face Koenma again.
Matsua- It's a fool that thinks he can win every gamble, Your Majesty.. I caught the Fox fair and square, you managed to steal him from me.. It's not the end of my life. H---, catching and stealing is the whole existance of my business.
Koenma- Then you'll have those wards revoked.
* Matsua allows his eyes to roam down Koenma's body and back up in a manner that makes the godling seriously crave a shower.
Matsua- How 'bout we compromise, Junior?
Koenma- My name is Koenma.. Lord Koenma to you.
Matsua- Alright.. Honestly,.. Lord Koenma,.. I don't see why someone like you would want to soil his hands by getting your nose in my type of business..
Koenma- Because Kurama isn't just any other demon.. He was a member of my Spirit Detective team that protected Human World from demons like you.
Matsua- Hey, I haven't caught and sold a human since that new law was made by that idiot Enki.
Koenma- That makes me feel all warm and cozy..
Matsua- I could warm you up a lot more.
* Matsua grins suggestively, wiggling his eyebrows.

* Matsua coughs to clear his throat and his mind.

* Matsua moves to the intercom on his desk.
Matsua- Kuchki, tell Izaru and Kodai to release those four.. like we discussed earlier.
* Matsua moves back around his desk to sit down.
Matsua- Happy?
Koenma- There's another situation we need to settle.. You have another member of my team here, too.
Matsua- I do?
Koenma- Yusuke.. The Mazoku.
Matsua- Ahh, him.. Well, had is the better word.. I sold that stubborn b------ off a while ago.
Koenma- To whom?
* Matsua shrugs.
Matsua- I don't keep records of what I sell to whom.. Search the place if ya want. The Toushin is no longer here.. Now, are we done here or would you like to change your mind and sample what you're missing out on?
* The large demon's amused chuckle follows the Prince who leaves hastily. Kuchki comes back in.

Kuchki- You're certainly taking this well.
* Matsua shrugs.

* The two demons share a laugh, then Kuchki leaves. Matsua shakes his head at his assistant's ineptness then goes back to his paperwork.
