Well, I'm glad a couple of my faithfuls are still with me, lol. I do plan to continue this series because it is shaping up really good on paper. :oD
Yeah, some sequels will be longer than others, but we do have a lot of time to cover. We're not quite done with this sequel, yet, though.

Scene 24 ------------- Matsua's Stronghold
* Matsua and Kuchki are waiting in the observation room, watching Yusuke and Kurama through the thick glass.
Kuchki- D---, they should be awake by now!
Matsua- Patience, Kuchki.. The wards Izaru and Kodai put on them have made them as weak as lower D's.
* Matsua motions with a nod when Yusuke begins to stir.
Matsua- There we go.. Showtime.
Kuchki- How do you think he'll react when he learns what's happened to Kurama?
Matsua- I guess we'll find out.
Kuchki- Yeah. You really have this all thought out, huh?
* Matsua jackslaps his assistant. Yusuke slowly sits up with a moan and begins to rub his throbbing temples. He then notices Kurama laying on his side, facing away from him, and hurries over. For some reason Yusuke can't place, seeing Kurama back in his redheaded human form bothers him.
Yussuke- Come on, Kurama.. Wake up.
* When Kurama begins to stir Yusuke takes a moment to look around. He notices the two demons beyond the thick glass and growls. The growl is quickly silenced, though, when Kurama skitters away from him, slamming hard facefirst into the nearby corner. Yusuke tilts his head puzzled when one of Kurama's hands begins to feel around nervously.
Yusuke- Kurama?
* Kurama stills, then sniffs as he turns to try to locate the speaker.
Yusuke- Hey.. what'd they do to you?
* Kurama swallows as he hones in on Yusuke's voice and faces him as best he can.
Kurama- Yu-Yusuke?
* When Yusuke sees that Kurama's opened eyes are obviously unseeing he stands and turns to face their observers.
Yusuke- The the h--- did you do to him?!
* Kurama forces himself to calm down and remember what he can of what happened to him.
Kurama- Yusuke,..
* Yusuke moves to kneel beside Kurama quickly.
Kurama- I-I can't see.. Where are we?
Yusuke- Some kind of.. iron-walled room.. There's a couple idiots watching us through a thick glass.. Like we're in some kind of a zoo or something.
Kurama- Shishi? Touya?
Yusuke- I don't know. I just woke up.. It's just us two in here.
Kurama- J-just.. you and me?
Yusuke- Yeah.
* Yusuke glances downward when Kurama's hand touches his chest then draws away quickly. The Toushin 'eeps' when he just now learns that he's naked. He 'eeps' again when he notices that Kurama is in the same state of undress. But then the large tattoo-like warding mark on Kurama's chest catches his attention. He reaches toward it, then looks down at his own chest to see that he's sporting the mark as well.
Yusuke(Quietly)- There's.. some kind of a.. tattoo on our chests..
* Kurama's mind quickly puts everything together and he scoots away from Yusuke some.
Yusuke- Easy, Kurama.. Does it hurt you? Is this what's making you blind?
Kurama- It's.. a ward of.. some kind.. Very strong.. Sealing our powers.
Yusuke- You don't have to be afraid of me.
Kurama(Quietly)- You.. don't understand.. why we're in here.. Alone like this..
* Yusuke glances back toward the window.
Kurama(Quietly)- Yusuke, think.. We're both Alpha males.
* Yusuke looks back at Kurama puzzled.
Yusuke- What the h--- does that..?
Kurama(Quietly)- The blindness is because of my own moment of carelessness.. There was a Flashbomb trap placed among your pile of clothes we found in that clearing.
Yusuke- Oh.. Then your sight will return, right? I mean, those things aren't fatal or permanent.
* Now Matsua switches on his speaker.
Matsua- He'll heal when I'm ready to allow him to do so.. I'm afraid he's unable to heal himself at the current levels of your..
* Yusuke stands with another growl.
Yusuke- So you think that we're just gonna sit here and twiddle our d--- thumbs?!
* Matsua shrugs with a smug chuckle.
Matsua- Not much else you can do.. Except maybe your buddy there.
* Yusuke clenches his fist, resisting the imagry those words suggest.
Yusuke- If that's the show you're waiting to see you bought the wrong tickets, ya b------! But if ya come in here I'll gladly give you your full refund.
Matsua- Oh, we'll see how.. reserved.. you remain after a couple days, Mr. Urameshi.. I know that you're a half human scum, but I'm sure there are demon instincts gnawing away inside you. You won't be able to resist them for long, I'm sure.
* Matsua flicks the speaker switch then presses another button that makes the observation room go dark. Yusuke turns to look back down at Kurama. The Kitsune is now on his feet, feeling his way along the wall to move away from Yusuke as quickly as he can.
Yusuke- Ku-,..?
Kurama- Just stay away from me!
* Yusuke is silenced by the redhead's growled words. He steps back and just watches stupified as Kurama makes his way over to the far corner to sit there. Yusuke swallows at the obvious show of nervous fear from his usually calm friend.
Yusuke- Kurama, I'm not going to..
Kurama- Then you'll have no problem heeding my words! Stay away from me!
* Yusuke sighs and sinks down to sit where he is. Something deep inside tells him the reason for the human Fox's dread. Yusuke covers his eyes as memories of how he came so close to forcing himself on Koenma stab through his mind. With a shake of his head and a mental curse he resolves not to allow such a loss of control to happen again. He begins to feel how the whole ordeal is already wearing him out at his current power level. With a quiet sigh he lays down and lets sleep claim him once more.
