She played with the vile; in her hands, as she walked up the stairs, she closed and locked the door. As she began, to walk down the hallway, “There you are;” Yomi said. As he Waite, for the woman; to catch up. “I see that you were informed properly,” he nodded; that is one thing, you maids are good for.” He replied; she smirked, as they walked down the hallway. They walked in a peaceful silence, as they walked in to the room. And as always, the king of demon world; sat at the end of the table cheery as ever.

“Good morning,” he nodded as he continued; to eat his large breakfast. “Complements to your chef; this is delicious.” she smiled, “I am glad, you are pleased.” She sat at the end of the table, and Yomi sat on her right side. Shortly after there arrival, Koenma; He caught a sudden glare, from the former demon lord. He sat down, in the middle of the table hoping; to be a companied by Yuskue and Kurama. He sat with is hands crossed, on the table; when a maid came up. Asking him, if he was interested; in any breakfast. He began to declined, but remembered; that could be an insulate; in demon world if he did. So and he already was on there bad side. He nodded, at what she offered him; “That will be fine.”

Well, in one way the gods; had answered his request. By allowing him; to wake up before she did. Kurama though, She was very observant, of her surroundings; and noticed Kuwabara asleep; in a twin bed next to hers. “You are safe; you have been sleeping, for quite sometime. One of the demons; hit you when we were attempting; to come to the safe zone. I carried you on my back, but with such limited space. You, Kuwabara and I were the last ones; to choose a room. This arrangement will be short, and you will have your own room. Or be placed, with the other ladies.” she nodded; as she fixed her hair and cloths. “Who is all here?” She looked, over to the human. “Kazuma is here, along with his older sister Shizuru;” She nodded.

“Also, a few of Kazuma; and my closest friend. I will be sure, to introduce them to you; when they awake. He said, with a smile. “God sis, I’ve got my math done; give me a brake!” the sleeping human mumbled; as he flipped over on his bed. They both laughed, “He studies in his sleep;” She said. “Thank you, for saving me Shuichi,” he continued to smirk. “No need, to thank me.” He hoped that he could wake up Kuwabara; to have him keep her company. The conference, started almost 30 minutes; and it wasn’t like him to be late. Her growling stomach; interrupting their silence. “Excuse me,” he smiled. “You are more than welcomed, to anything in this house. So make yourself some breakfast” he would have made her breakfast, on driftnet terms.

She nodded, as she smiled; “How do you like your eggs?” he tilted his head, and smiled, she was offering; to make him breakfast. “Easy.. I mean sunny side up.” She laughed, at his mess up. “Oh Shuichi,” she got off the bed. As she looked him; over again, before walking into the living room. He knew, she could fine the kitchen with ease. He picked out an outfit; to wear to the conference. Slipping it on.


Emi rubbed her eyes sleepily, as began to walk into the kitchen. Shuichi was right; it was very early in the morning. She turned on the light; and letting out a loud scream, as she saw a creature. it was more hideous; the any of the creatures she encountered before. It had been hiding in the corner; of the kitchen. It looked surprised, as well. It stood up; and let out a beam of light. She was instantly blocked, by a tall man; he was bald took the blow for her. He fell to his knees; as he was injured. But then stood; using his Ki to repel back to the demon. The man jumped, onto the other side of the table, preparing to take creature on again. Emi didn’t want to feel helpless; so she grabbed one of the pans on the wall. And smashed the demon; on the head with it. It instantly cracked the kitchen ware; in half. But, did daze the creature.

The loud scream, which came Emi; who was in the kitchen. Was his answer; “Emi!” he screamed, this woke up; the sleeping human. He two felt something strange, and followed the fox; out to the living room. Apparently, the others were awakened; as they all ran out in to the living room. Shocked, to see what they all witnessed.

Koenma, Enki, Mukuro and Yomi all stood. When they felt; the grate power level. “Wing 103,” Mukuro, screamed out. Both, for the warning of the guards; and the occupants of the table. Mukuro and Yomi; weren’t far behind the guards. As they began, to run down the stairs. Another power surge; broke though the building. It was stronger than the first one, taking him off guard; he stopped for a moment in shock. He collided with Mukuro, who was only a few steps; away from him. “Damn it Yomi,” She scolded. “I’ll be damned.” Stood still for a moment then followed the steps of Mukuro.

Only a few second later, Kurama had came around the corner; he had noticed that Hokushin, was injured. But he held on, as the other men were at his side; they held down the demon. The others were stunted; the first to respond was Yusuke, who ran over to help restrain; the demon. Kurama walked over, to the stunned human. He couldn’t help but smirk, when he saw the broken pan handle; in her hand. “Emi,” he called; out to her. She was frightened, he could tell; by the look in her eyes. He walked up, and wrapped his arms around the human; pulling her close. “What the hell is going on?” she mumbled, close to him. “I can explain,” He said; he looked towards Kuwabara. Who nodded, He picked her up; and carried her off to the room.

Hokushin grip was still tight on the demon, as it still fought for its freedom. “Yusuke,” Mukuro called; to the Mazoku. “Let it live, we will bring it up; for question.” She walked closer, to the demon. She noticed from first glance, that it was sent by her brother. The burnt symbol on its chest; made it clear. The monks looked to Yusuke, who nodded and stepped back. as the two other monks, did as well. Leaving Hokshin’s grip the demon; now fighting for its life. She grabbed the demon; by the throat, and Hokshin’s grip loosened. It attempted, to fight back with her. She easily, used her low amount of ki to shoot the demon throat. He weak; as he was easy to drag. The guards, who were uselessly stood at the back of the wall. Were ordered by Mukuro; to carry the demon to the touchier chambers. And she would deal, with him soon.

“Is the human harmed?” she asked Yusuke; who helped Hokushin up. “Not that I am aware of.” Hokushin said, as he stood checking out his wounds. She nodded, she didn’t care about the human; But Enki would be asking. She looked at the mess on the ground, ordering her men to clean it up. The mess as she began to walk up stairs not a another word said. Ignoring the looks she was revising the humans. “The conference has been 0post phoned. I will send a messenger to inform you on the new time. She said as she and Yomi walked up the stairs.

“So that is Mukuro,” Shizuru said; as she heard them leave. “Kuwabara nodded, “she’s real creepy isn’t she,” “Why do you think she is creepy?” yukina asked, “Well; he said rubbing the back of his head. “She shows no emotion; and touchier chambers?” he said. As he watched; the demons work. “It is quite popular, in demon world Kazuma.” The ice apparition; as she waited for the kitchen to be clean. When the kitchen was clean, she stepped inside; and began to prepare breakfast. Soon after Kekio, walked into the kitchen and began help.

Shizuru, Kwabara, Yusuke sat on one couch. As Hokushin and the others, sat on the couch across; from where they sat. “I want to know how a demon, of such grate strength; could hidden from our detection.” Hokushin said, as he continued to think his. Yukina walked up, with a large tray of refreshments. She gave Shizuru, Kuwabara and Yusuke coffee; while she gave the others tea. “Thank you, Touto said. Nodding his head, to the apparition. “You are a kroomie, a maiden from ice world?” he asked, with interest. She nodded. “Yes I am,” he smiled. “Well it’s an honor, to be in the presents of such a rare demon.” She blushed, as she started to walk; back to the kitchen. “Excuse me, but may I ask you something else, you see; I was the war adviser. For our grate dead king Rizen, I traveled and learned many things, about driftnet lands. I can’t help but ask where is your Hirui stone?”

Yukina turned around, not minding the questions. “You are familiar, with my land?” She said. “I only know, what is rumored. But I’d like to learn, more about your people. They interest me.” Yukina knew, to be careful what she said; but though he might know something about her brother. “I have seen an individual, who wears a hiuri stone. but he is male, he most likely stole it. “Her eye widened.” You know, about my brother! He was born of my world. Do you know, where he was seen last?” Touto began to speak. Shizuru and Yuskue, looked at each other; and quickly Yusuke elbowed Kuwabara. Forcing him to spill his steaming hot coffee, on to his chest and lap. “Ahh ouch!! B
What the hell Urameshi?” screamed.

“Wow baby bro, I hope you aren’t to severely burn.” She looked at yukina. “hey Hun, do you mind on seeing how bad his burns are?” she nodded. As she looked to Touou; and then looked to the angry human. “How bad, are you injured Kazuma?” she asked a little disappointed. “Oh well, I guess if yukina is going to heal; me I’m okay with it!” He laughed, as he stood up walking in to the spare room. to get his wounds mended, “That was to close.” Shizuru said, as she leaned back. “Your telling me!” Yuskue said. “Nice thinking,” Shizuru laughed. “Thanks;” the three men looked puzzled.

Yusuke leaned in, they followed. “Hiei is Yukina’s sister. They are both kroomie; I think. Well I don’t know the whole story. But Hiei, wants to keep him being her brother; a secret.” The men nodded, as they looked at him. they leaned back; and began to sip there tea. “How interesting,” Touou said.

“How bad are your burns Kazuma?” she repeated. As they walked, into a room that wasn’t completely finished. “He’s such a jerk! How could he do that?” He blushed. “Oh yeah,” he said. as he slipped off his shirt. His skin; was already begun to blister. His stomach, was at her eye level; as she sat on a twin bed. “Poor thing,” she said. As she laid her hands, in front of his stomach. Her energy; began to turn the skin blue and the pain began to fade. After healing him, he heard her breathing heavy, as she sniffed. “Oh yukine!” he called to her. as he sat on bed, next to her and pulled her into his arms.

“I know it’s hard, we’ll find your brother; I promise” he said, to her attempting to comfort; the crying girl. “I know,” she said. between her sobs, he wiped the gems off of her. He placed his hands, on her face; as he bough it close to his. “No more tears, I hate to see you cry.” She looked, away slightly. “Come on; let me see that smile.” She didn’t respond. “If you won’t smile on your own, I’ll make you.” He wiggled is brows, as she attempted not to smile. “Tickle attack;” he began to wiggle his fingers, over her sides as she began to laugh. “Kazuma!” she laughed. “can I see that smile, I love so much or will I have to continue?” he paused, his fingers. “Alright alright!” she said. As she looked at him, the classic smile on her face. “That’s my girl,” he said. As he kissed her head. “Thank you Kazuma, no thank you Yukina.”

“Where are we really?” she asked. as she at on the bed, Kurama sat down beside her.
“I can tell you your safe, something like that; breaching security is a rarity.” He said as he leaned, against the wall. “That man, that saved me; wasn’t human. The way, he could stretch his body. And that creature, it is something out of my nightmares.” I will explain, this to you to the best of my ability; but please have an open mind. And be able to except; what is happening. If you can do this, I will grantee it will all make sine.” He took a deep breath. As he made a silent prayer, to the gods, who seem to be favoring him today. That she would have an open mind, about everything.


Shura grew bored of this place; he had grown use to living out in the forest; of Manki and training with his father. But he hadn’t been getting much attention; from him now that Mukuro’s problem started. He decided, he would walk out into the forest, hoping for some suspecting demon; to approach and he could have fun killing something. He ventured father in to the forest, as he noticed there was a horde of demons, there were all killed brutally, as there blood and limbs, were spread across the ground. He heard movement in the trees; he got in his fighting stance. This demon was fast, and could whiled a blade well; he was attacked from behind. Falling on his knees; and quickly got up. He closed is eyes listening to the surrounding; as he then jumped aiming a ball of his youki at the tree. The trees in the sounding, area were blown away.

The demon stayed still, now Shura hand no where the creature was. He kept up his guard. Now listening; to what his father had told him. To not only fight with his eyes, but to use every sense. He attempted to use is nose, as the wind picked up. He now could smell; the demon blood. It was strong, coming from the south he turned slowly, as he hitting the tree beside the demon. Purposely to distract it, he jumped into the tree; where he smelt the blood; and hit him with full force. Sending the demon down, he drug across the ground hitting a few trees; as well. Shura ran, following the trail of dirt and broken trees; he pulled out his sword. His eyes widened, as he looked at the wounded demon; before him “Hiei!”

“Hn,” he said; as he looked up to Shura. “Your growing stronger kid” he stood up. “I’m guessing, you killed all those demons yourself?” Shura asked. Hiei nodded, as he moved his arms attempting to numb the pain; from the young demons blow. “And you didn’t invite me?” Shura joked, as Hiei laughed lightly “I’ll try and remember; next time kid.” Shura nodded, “so you want to spar, with me or you to injured?” He prepared his weapon, as he smirked. Hiei prepared his weapon also, the both jumped at each other; at the same time. Hiei was surprised, that a kid could be such a high demon class. But his father was no slack off, and he really would enjoy; sparing with Yomi to get to some of his aggressions against the man.

There swords would clash, as the both dodged the others attack. “There was an intruder in wing 103 this morning.” Shura attempted to make conversation, as the fought. “What?” he asked; as he was shocked. Leaving Shura, the opportunity to strike; hitting him with his blade, tearing his cloth. “No one was injured, but that human woman; that Kurama likes found it. From what we know, he was planning to kidnap the Kroomie. They still don’t know how he entered the building.” Shura continued; as Hiei came from behind; hitting the pre teen, cutting the back of his shirt. They continued this for quite some time; until Hiei sheathed his weapon. “Returning to the fort, are you coming?” Shura nodded; sheathing his weapon. as he walked beside the demon. He enjoyed sparing with Hiei.

“How much more, have you gotten out of him boys?” Mukuro asked, she leaned against the bars; of her poorly kept dungeon. The demons hands were nailed to the wall. Her cleric had cut open his throat. Using a close pin; closing off the jugular vain. so he wouldn’t bleed to death. But he was suffocating. Mukuro, walked forward; and stepped on its chest; breaking a few ribs. She unclipped the cloths pin. “Are you willing to speak now?”

The clerics used there energy, to keep the demon alive. “How did you get into my fortress?” she asked, as she took her foot off his chest. “Any C class demon; could make it though your poorly guarded fortress.” he laughed. “And He knows; who killed Chikou and will get his revenge.” She glared at the demon; not letting it get the best of her. “Use number 402 on him. See if you can’t get anything useful out of him.”

As Hiei and Shura walked back to the fortress, they felt the large energy; and heard the loud voices, of the approaching men “Well, out for some morning training are ya!” Chuu called, out to the demons. They both looked at each other, and continued to walk. “Some hospitality, they have!” Shishi said. as he crossed his arms. He was in his imp state, and sat comfortable on Suzuki shoulder. “Wasn’t that Yomi’s runt, with Hiei?” Chuu asked. “I believe so,” Jin said. As he floated; in the air. “Well, what do you expect from them.” Toya said. They walked into the fortress.


It was one of the back routs, which Shura hadn’t known. He thought he had explored the fortress toughly; last night when he decide explore, instead of sleep. They walked past the door to wing 103; Shura recognized, the stench of humans. Hiei didn’t bother to excuse him self. When he walked though the demons, who were attempting to fix the door. He dissapred from sighed. As he stood beside Yusuke, who was still lounging in the chair. Yusuke noticed the quick flash beside; him and jumped when he noticed Hiei; standing there. “Ah Hiei, what the hell?” “You have visitors,” he said simply; as disspired back up the stairs to Shura. He was surprised, the demon did not leave his side. “I like your methods, of getting things done.” Shura said with a smirk. “Hn.” He said. as he began to walk to Mukuro’s chambers; he noticed that Shura was still following. “Don’t you have some where else to be?” he asked. a little annoyed he was hoping to get to talk to Mukuro by himself.

As soon as he spoke those words, Shura was gone. “Hn” he said to himself. As he walked into the room, it had been the same; since he discovered her pregnancy. He still found it weird, he’d never imagine Mukuro ever becoming pregnant. He didn’t hate the idea. But he also didn’t take well to change. And a lot has been changing. All the humans from human world were in his home. Mukuro his new mate. And just to top it off she becomes pregnant he sat in his chair as he looked out the window in deep though.

“She slid her hand, in to her pocket. She continued; to play with the bottle. not only was she deciding the life for another being, but the life changing for both her and mate. “You have missed, quite a morning.” she said, as she sat down in the chair; watching the fire demon smirk that sat across from her. “And by you’re sent. You went out of the fortress walls; to take out your anger?’ he smirked. Mukuro, knew him better than he knew him self; at times. “I will have to request, that you and Shura, do not leave the Fortress walls.” “He raised a brow, at his mate.” “You do not control me,” he said. As he crossed his arms. “True enough; it would be a shame, for you to be killed ignorantly. Since Katsurou is after you.” She crossed her arms, over her chest. “Your brother, dose not initiate me.” He said, as she looked to him. “I am aware Hiei, but it would also be a shame; for you not to see the birth of your child.” They sat in silence, for a few moments. “You’re keeping it?” He asked. “Most likely, why do you disagree?” she raised her brow “not my choice, do what ever you please with the thing.”

“So let me get this strait,” Emi said; with a raised brow. “We are in a third world, It is called Maki. the worlds where those creatures, came from. You say, we are safe here; and yet they was that almost killed; me this morning.” Kurama sighed, she may be horrible at math, but in the places she lacked; she surpassed in others. “Yes Emi, You are correct; it is a rare occurrence. That these creatures get into this fortress. It is highly guarded, “well, that thing that saved me; it wasn’t human. Noting human, could stretch its body like that!” “You are correct again, in any race; there are the good and the bad. Mr. Hokushin is good; he is a Demon that fight’s on our side.” She stood up, they were friends; and yet there was always that wanting; to be more. Both of them felt it and were too afraid of rejection, to admit it. “So you and Kazuma; are some big bad demon killers. am I correct?” she said, as she walked closer. “You could say that,” he attempted; to keep his cool.

“And everyone out there; is a demon hunter as well?” Kurama knew, he was getting him self in to a deeper hole; by not telling her the truth. But he knew, they were good at keeping secrets; for Hiei. But he wasn’t, as intimidating as Hiei. “You could say that, well the girls; are mostly family.” “I can’t believe, that Kazuma; is a demon killer. I always thought he couldn’t hurt a fly.” she said, as she stood in front of him. “You’d be surprised, at what some people can hide.” he said, she leaned up against him. His eyes widened; as she leaned forward, kissing him. It took him a few moments, to register what was happening; then followed kissing her back. A few moments later, he broke it. She blushed, not realizing; what a grate kisser this man was. “For being a nerd, you sure are a good kisser.” she said, in a teasing tone. “Thank you,” he said; as he took her hand. “Now it’s time, to introduce you to my friends.”

It had been a long time, since he had kissed a woman. It brought ergs back that he hadn’t felt in years. If he wouldn’t have stopped him self, he would have gone father. He walked out into the living room, Emi at his side; as Hiei appeared in front of Yusuke. Kurama couldn’t help but laugh when frightened the man. Her eyes widened as she looked to Kurama. “Its okay, that’s my friend Hiei,” he reassured her. “He’s a demon, isn’t he.” “Yes, he’s a very quite demon.” she nodded; She looked, to see Yusuke. “Is that Yusuke Urameshi?” she asked. “So you’ve heard of him,” Kurama asked; as they stood in the hallway, for a moment. “Yeah, the whole town; knows of him. He’s a thug, at the middle school; north from our high school. He steals wallets, and also had been known to win fight’s against whole gangs just by him self. “Kurama sweat dropped “Well you shouldn’t listen to rumors, there always far fetched.” He said.

“Emi!! You’re awake!” Kuwabara said, as he walked up behind them. Emi jumped, as placed her hand on her heart. “Kazuma, you scared me!” he rubbed the back of his head. “Sorry, how are you feeling?” She noticed, a small demon the same one; that she saw, when Kurama, came to her apartment. The girl, smiled sweetly to her. Kuwabara noticed that she noticed Yukina and smiled, putting his arm around her. “This is Yukina, my girlfriend.” “So this is the girl, he talks to Shuicih about so much.” she thought to herself; as she smiled, and nodded. “Hello,” Yukina bowed back; “It is nice to meet you, are you hungry?” Emi Smiled at this. She knew it was rude; to not expect food. “Yes, what ever you have made is fine. it smells grate!” Yukina smiled, as she walked off to the kitchen to get her a plate. “When you going to; introduce to her Kurama!” Yusuke said, they wouldn’t have been noticed but when Yukina ran to the kitchen they looked.

“Kurama?” she asked. “It’s a nick name; they gave Me.” he said, with a glare to Yusuke; he laughed nervously. He had noticed that the chatter went down; as they all staired at the corner. Botan and Koenma had came down to visit. Botan was eating a large plate of breakfast, while Koenma; was only drinking a cup of coffee. Kurama stepped forward; he took Emi’s hand as he smiled. “Everyone this is my friend Emi,” he started closest one on the couch to the kitchen and then at the end of the other couch. “This is Shizuru,” Shizuru nodded. “This is Kekio,” she smiled lightly. “It’s nice to meet you Emi,” you’ve already met Yukina; he looked to the two; by the kitchen. “That’s Botan” Botan waved “And that’s Koenma “Koenma bowed “Pleasure to meet you.” and that is Touto, his brother, and also Hokushin. “ Are you alright?” Hokushin asked, as she nodded. “Yes thank you,” “Emi!” Yukina called, as he smiled. “Your breakfast is ready!” Emi smiled, as she walked over; to the sweet demon “Nice catch,” Shizuru said. As she put out her cigarette, in the ash tray; “Thanks.”

A few moments of casual conversation, before Yusuke’s loud mouth could be heard echoing though the hallway. But he wasn’t alone; they could be sounds of laugher. And cheering, as they began; to walk down the stairs. Yusuke was the first; to jump down the stairs “You’ll never guess what, the cat drug in!” He said, as Chuu was the first to walk down the stairs, second was Rinku, and third was Jin and Toya. And the last two were Suzuki with the demon imp Shishi Wakamaru ;on his shoulders. “I better get to cooking!” Yukina said out loud, “Grate” was all Koenma could think “I’ll help!” Botan offered. as she fished her plate; and began to help yukina prepare more food.

Thank you so much for reading, this is the only time Emi will be a big part of the story. She will just fade away later on. Wow, that took longer than I thought. I think it’s my sinus infection. Dragging me down. But I will continue to write !!!!
