AN:  I also want to note here, that I got this title from the episode of the same name.  I believe it was during the Maze Castle arc.

Two - What A Dishonorable Way!

Oh how did he end up in this mess? When would he ever learn the wisdom of 'Look before you leap?' But no, not Yusuke Urameshi. The Toushin had always just flown by the seat of his pants. But he should've known better. Perhaps he just never took his life seriously enough. Oh, sure, he'd died before. Twice. But to go like this? After making the stupid mistake of not using caution - again?  Now, here he is. Stuck in the bottom of this deep pit with no way out.

He seriously didn't think it was this deep when he'd first jumped in. He couldn't even remember now what exactly had possessed him to even do it in the first place. Now, here he sat. Both legs broken from the fall.  Was it a hundred feet? Two hundred?  It seemed rather pointless to dwell on the distance now.  Demons could heal from a lot of things, broken, unset broken bones, unfortunately, isn't on that list.  Worse yet, nobody had a clue as to where he might be.

He was just going to go out for a midnight run. That had been.. what? Three days ago? A week? He'd lost track of time. The only thing he knows for sure, is that he's going to die. Again. Here, in the bottom of this old, dark, stone chasm.

He can feel how weak his body's grown. He knows that he won't last much longer. His hybrid body still needs sustenance, even if his soul had become demonized. As his eyelids grow heavy, unable to keep open any longer, he has one last cognizant thought before giving up the battle, 'What a dishonorable way to go.'
