Chapter 2

The woods were a good place to think, nice and quiet especially when everyone else was to excited about tomorrow to take a walk outside.

“you would figure I was that brats slave the way he orders me around!” yelled Angle into the wind, she was alone and she knew it. She loved nice quiet walks in nature, thinking about her life and why she didn’t just kill Koenma.

“I guess it could be worse.. He could have me changing his dippers or something..” she gave a slight shudder at the thought of all the degrading things Koenma really could make her do. She had stopped walking and talking to herself long enough to hear faint footsteps which sounded like they were getting closer. Not wanting anyone to bother her, Angle quickly jumped into the nearest tree and waited for the other to pass.

At first she thought it was a young woman taking a peaceful stroll amongst the trees, but the more she watched the person the more she realized she had made the mistake that many people had made. For they were not a woman but indeed a man and at realizing that, was glad she had hid herself for it was the red head from team Urameshi.
‘dame Koenma and his stupid rules’ thought Angel as she tried her hardest not to be found.

Kurama knew walking in the woods at this time of night on a ordinary day could be dangerous but today every one was too busy getting ready for tomorrow to go out for a walk. As soon as he came to stand right under his favorite tree, he noticed something was off there was a underling energy he didn’t recognize, that he didn’t trust.

“who’s there? Show your self!” yelled Kurama from right under the tree Angle was hiding in.

‘what do I do? Koenma told me not to make myself known to them but he knows I’m here.’

“I know your there!” yelled Kurama

‘he seems jumpy wonder why? Cant be he’s scared about tomorrow can it?….. He’s still waiting guess no real harm can be done if I just go down there for bit.’ with that she jumped off of the tree branch and landed gracefully on the ground in front of Kurama.

Kurama being surprised by the sudden appearance of his mystery company blinked a few times and took a step back.

“you did ask me to come down didn’t you?” her tone taking on a more innocent edge to it.

“yes I did… who are you? and what do you want?” Kurama asked taking another step away from her.

“my name is not important and I was minding my own business, taking a simply walk in the woods until you showed up.”

“so you were walking in the tree the whole time then?”

“no… I didn’t want to be bothered so when I heard foot steps I hid in the tree.” her voice taking on a more annoyed superior tone.

‘interesting he doesn’t trust me… then again he has no reason to.’ thought Angle

“I haven’t seen you around were you a fighter in the tournament?” asked Kurama intrigued by the woman in front of him.

“no I’m simply here watching.. I would never participate in something this under handed.” replied Angel in a more disgusted tone

“oh…. Well then I’m sorry for bothering you.” and Kurama turned and began to walk away.

“wait! Your on team Urameshi right?” asked Angel already knowing the answer, all she got was a simply nod from the red head.

“in that case I’ll be routing for you tomorrow.” before Kurama could fully turn around to look at her, she was gone.

‘something about that red head seems familiar to me… but It couldn’t be him…. Why would I even think of such a ridiculous idea?’ thought angel.

Kurama continued to walk even though the woman had left he didn’t feel comfortable under that tree.

‘who was that woman?’ thought Kurama as he made his way back to the hotel. The walk took a bit longer since he didn’t want to return just yet so he took his time, walking a bit slower, stopping occasionally to look at something not the least bit interesting.

Angel was intrigued by the man so she followed him back, masking her presence completely. She didn’t need a repeat of earlier, or him being even more suspicious of her.

‘what’s he doing?’ Angel thought as she tried to find what he had stopped and looked at, but nothing caught her eye.

‘ what ever I don’t have time for this right now, he can do what ever he wants’ thought Angel and with one last glance at the red head she turned and ran off into the opposite direction.
