Scene 2 ------------ Hiei's Ravine
* Hiei is relaxing on the rock ledge, cleaning his katana. He glances casually down toward Gamaru when he comes out of the main cave and approaches Silis. The Koorime watches the larger boy kneel and offer the Wolf hybrid a cup of spring water. Silis glances up at him with clear annoyance from where he's laying fanning himself with a large flat leaf.
Silis- You're back again?!
Gamaru- Look, I know you were sick this morning..
Silis- Of course I was sick! I'm pregnant, you a--.
* Hiei smirks, but remains calm as he continues to just monitor his two young subordinates. He half glances toward Troiyoku on one side of him and Trinka on the other. Both are fast asleep, worn out from their most recent orgy. Hiei stands carefully so he won't disturb them when a new voice joins in the argument below.
D'Tara- If you two don't shut the h--- up I'm going to tear you both to shreds!
* Hiei blinks down to the ground and hurries over to stand between D'Tara and Celestia when she starts over to get involved. The Koorime remains as calm as he can, getting rather used to the short tempers that flare up more often as each day passes.
Hiei- Enough!
Celestia- If she touches my son..!
Hiei- Nobody's touching anybody!
Celestia- Are you f---ing blind?! That lumox has been all over..!
* Hiei flares out his energy when Sarista starts over toward them.
Hiei- I said that this stops.. now!
* Everyone silences under the authority of his deeper tone. Hiei looks down at the boys.
Hiei- I've let this mess between you two go on long enough.
* Hiei ignores Gamaru for the moment when he stands up to tower over him. Instead the apparition looks up at D'Tara and pauses a moment when he notices that the Hyena hybrid seems to be basking in the waves of energy radiating off of him.
Hiei- D'Tara,..
* She looks down at him startled.
Hiei- Go take a swim and cool off.
* The large female just stares dumbfoundedly down at him. Hiei tilts his head, but hides his puzzlement behind a growl.
Hiei- Are you going to defy me?
Sarista- D'Tara, get your head on straight before I singe your a--.
* Hiei watches alertly as D'Tara glances around to orient herself.
D'Tara- I.. I..
Hiei- 'Tara.
* Hiei holds a hand up toward Sarista as D'Tara focuses on him.
Hiei- Go to the Waterfall Meadow and take a swim.
* Absently, she nods then turns and bounds away. Hiei turns his attention next to Celestia on his other side. She is watching Gamaru alertly.
Hiei- Woman, look at me.
Celestia- What?!
Hiei- Celestia!
* Hearing her name in this firm tone finally breaks her concentration. She steps back some, but looks down at her Alpha.
Hiei- Gamaru is not going to harm your son.. And nobody is going to harm Gamaru.. Unless he don't stop glaring at me!
* Celestia calms herself down and crosses her arms.
Celestia- So.. What? You want me to go jump in the river, too?
Hiei- H--- no.. You'd go drown D'Tara right now.. Just go back to.. whatever the h--- it was you were doing.
* Celestia rolls her dark eyes and goes back to the card game she was playing with Staci and Klarice. Hiei looks toward Sarista next.
Hiei- Everything is under control, 'Rista.
* Sarista turns her attention back toward her son. Hiei looks up at him, also.
Hiei- I want you two to come with me.
Gamaru- If you're going to beat me down again..
Hiei- Do I have to?
Sarista- I've been very patient with you, Gam..
Hiei- Sarista, I got this. Now go back to your nap, Babe.
* Sarista hesitates and Hiei feels her nervousness spike. He looks up at her. The Fire demoness bows her head then goes back toward the main cave. Hiei sighs and starts off toward the treeline. Silis growls and raises a hand.
Silis- Make yourself useful and help my fat a-- up, baka.
* Gamaru complies cautiously, then follows Silis off. When the Koorime is sure that they're both following him he flits away picking up the pace a little. He's pleased when both of the males keep up with him easily. This tension between these two has been building for the past few days and the Alpha has finally decided to put an end to it.
