Scene 2 -------------- Human World
* Yusuke enters Genkai's temple. The first person he meets is Kuwabara. But this doesn't surprise him. Since he's been returning every day so he's fully abreast of the situation between his human friend and the little Ice maiden. After some intense discussions, Yukina had agreed to allow him to move in. But they'd agreed that he would have his own bedroom.. for now. The Toushin snorts to himself as he approaches Kuwabara on the porch, 'Like that lasted for long'.
Kuwabara- Hey, Yusuke.
Yusuke- Kuwa.. Felt me comin', huh?
Kuwabara- Of course. Your power's like a stadium lighttower to me.
* Yusuke tops the porch steps, then glances around.
Yusuke- No sign of him, yet, huh?
Kuwabara- No. Not even a hint of his black hide.. Unless he's masking himself.
* Yusuke scowls.
Kuwabara- It's really got 'Kina down.. It's driving me crazy because I don't know what to do to help.. I wouldn't be able to find the shrimp, or I'd go to Demon World myself.
Yusuke- No. You'd end up as some demon's lunch, then I'd have to come rescue your a--.
* Kuwabara ignores the jibe and Yusuke realizes how tense the atmosphere is around this usually-peaceful building.
Yusuke- Alright, look. I'm going to go see if I can talk some sense into him.
Kuwabara- Yusuke, I know that he must be just as upset as Yukina's been.. But I also know that he'd rather go on a killing spree than admit something like that.
Yusuke- Yeah.. I'll go check with Mukuro first.. If he'd be anywhere it'd be there.
* Yukina comes out of the shrine. Yusuke looks toward her. His jaw clenches when he sees her reddened eyes. Something about this demoness being so downhearted just does not sit well with the former Spirit Detective.
Yusuke- Yukina,..
Yukina- If you find him.. Please ask him to give me another chance.
Kuwabara- If he don't come back I'm going to drag him back myself.
Yusuke- Whoa, Big Fella.. down boy..
* Kuwabara crosses his arms. Yusuke holds up a hand placatingly.
Yusuke- Alright, alright.. I'm going.
* Yusuke turns away from them to leap off the high porch. He mentally curses the short Fire demon as he hurries back to the portal.
