Back to the past
Chapter 1: Back to the past
Keiko Yukimura sat at her desk at home, staring sightlessly into her small table mirror. After a month of trying to get over Yusuke’s abandonment her thought had once again come back to him.
What was so fun about fighting anyway? What kind of enjoyment does he get out of getting beat up and almost killed? Was something wrong with her? Did she have to become a demon to get him to stay…with…her?
The last question brought about the usual depression and heartache, at his callous way with her.
“Yusuke no baka.” She mumbled fighting back tears. She missed him so much. There hadn’t been a day that her and Yusuke had been away for each other for longer that a week. But then after becoming a spirit detective he’d be gone for months and now 3 years.
Focusing on her reflection now she took note of the minor changes that were happening. Her face was losing the baby fat, but then again it could be also that she hadn’t had much of an appetite since Yusuke left. And she was growing her hair out, it was now in a cute bob, but it was growing fast. She’d missed having length to her hair although the short style was easier to manage.
Thinking about her hair helped to perk her up some. So slamming the mirror down she vowed (again) not to give another thought to the one named Yusuke Uremeshi.

The first two chaps are out. R&R so I can finish faster. this is a short chappie but the next will be longer. just trying to get the feel of typing again.
