The essence of smell.

“This is the situation,” said, Koenma turning away from the pile of papers on his desk, ”The giant muck monster you encountered earlier today is a demon whose spirit energy is only effective in the human world hence the reason why it was there. Around this time of year it travels from the demon world to the human world.”
“Shouldn’t he be unable to do what with the portal being blocked and all?” Yusuke asked.
“He shouldn’t but the closer the he gets to the human world the stronger his scent becomes.”
“What scent, that was the stench of something that had been decaying for 3000 years.”, replied Yusuke.
“It’s not that scent-the demon just smell that bad- but a scentless gas it emits when entered into the body causes people to feel, hmm, well, for lack of a better word excited.”
“Excited, you mean horny. No need to be afraid to use the word just ‘cause you’re a toddler. The rest of us big kids won’t laugh at you for it.”, joked Yusuke.
“For your information I have a lot of experience in that department so back off!” yelled Koenma.
“Jerking off for three hundred years doesn’t count!” Yusuke snapped back.
“If you two are finished can we get back to the purpose of this meeting,” Kurama calmly stated. “I believe there is a bigger reason for this meeting then telling us about this muck demon. And it concerns Botan seeing that she was actually inside the demon for a long period of time. You too Yusuke because you were temporally inside as well and disappeared for a time after being shot out by the monster himself.“
“Yeah, Yusuke where’d you go? Hmm. Got knocked out for an hour did yah. Well a toddler like me wouldn’t have gone down so easily.” Koenma put his hand to his forehead and mocked,”Oh woe is me Yusuke Urameshi, I got stuck in a itti bitti muck monster then got shot out. The smell was so bad that I the big bad spirit detective that defeated Toguro fainted like a little girl.”
“That’s it you toddler bitch your going down!” Yusuke lunged of after Koenma and thrust his fist into his head.
‘Owww! That’s it Yusuke I going to protect you but see if help you now!” Koenma yelled as he held his head with both hands. ”No matter how long the time you spent in that thing your still in danger. Both of you!”
“In danger from what Lord Koenma Sir?”’ asked, Botan.
“It’s obvious really. With that scent you you’ll be the most desired creatures in the human world. Perhaps some of the demon world. ”Heie , who like Kuwabara has been silent the whole time, calmly stated. ”If Botan walks out there she will be raped in an instant.”
“The same will go for Yusuke although I doubt that he would mind,” Karma added, ”It’s just what Kaiko would do to him if she ever found him with someone other than her.”
“Yep, that’s right Yusuke might stay up in the spirit world anyway because Kaiko’s gonna kill em.” said Kuwabara nodding his head.
“That’s great I’m glad you all understand but the question you have yet to ask is why aren’t you currently affected.” Koenma said.
“I was wondering about that. So just tell us why.” said Yusuke.
“Like I said before this demon’s spirit energy is only active in the human world. However, the essence of the smell he gives off remains active whether in the human world or the demon world but has no effect on the beings in the spirit world hence the reason why we’re here. These two will remain here for a couple of days until we can be sure the effect has worn off. Any questions?” Koenma looked around.
“Yeh, where am I supposed to stay?” Yusuke calmly asked.
“That has been arranged already. Anymore questions, good I’ll be seeing you. I’m very important man you know with my father gone and all. Ogre come here! Show Yusuke to his room.”
“Yes Lord Koenma Sir.” The blue ogre bowed down and said.
“What man, I don’t see a man when I look at you your just a toddler making a sand castle while daddy’s away.”
“What was that see if let you stay here.” Koenma retorted but Yusuke already left.
The others began filing out off the room Botan being the last to go out. Before she could leave Koenma called her back.
