I melt away though you seem unaware of it. Shit. You really should force these things out of me fox. You have to. I am after all a hopeless loser. I was and I still am. Forbidden Child, a term reserved only for me. A title seriously loathed by many. But me, I had to live with it. Now I am void of what I should give to you. Love.
“So… I don’t have work today…”

“Would you like to go to Genkai’s?”
Eyebrow raised, still unconscious of your motive, I say yes. You look imperturbable, devoid of emotion. Just like me, masking your feelings for the sake of this rocky and misunderstood relationship.

Stiff still, barely conversing, we arrive at the final steps of the stairway to the temple. You barely talked to me along the way. What is the point of this?

We enter the temple grounds, my sister unbeknownst of who I am to her, greeted us softly, happily. You are my joy, my hidden innocence. You deprive me of the wrong reality I have to face. You make me feel like a brother.
“So what brings you here Kurama-kun, Hiei-san?”
You answer. “We just want to ask permission from Genkai if we can use the temple grounds for training.”
Training? Are you going to actually invite me to train with you?
“Training? Oh.. Maybe you can. Just don’t disturb the birds… Genkai won’t be able to answer your permission, she’s currently away. Don’t worry, I’m responsible here. Genkai gave me full control of the place.”
“Thank you.”
You stand and I wait for your invitation. Three years of training is something I won’t easily let you feel. It will hurt… for both of us…
“What’s wrong Hiei? Come. Let’s train.”
