Chapter 2
Evil & Kindness…2 Sides of the Same Yoko!
Toge’s eyes opened slowly as she sat up, trying to remember where she was, and why she was so sore. Her eyes shot open as she saw the figure of the kitsune standing at a small stove. Her heartbeat quickened and her stomach felt queasy as bits and pieces from the previous night come rushing back to her. She was overwhelmed with anger toward the fox, and her power surged up as she fantasized about all the ways she could kill him.
The fox turned to look at her, feeling her sudden power surge.
“So you’re finally awake. I thought you might sleep the whole day.”
Toge’s nose twitched as she realized Yoko was cooking something that smelled fabulous. Her stomach growled at the thought of food.
“Does your head ache?”
“Yes…”
“I thought it might, it’s a nasty side-effect of that sedative they hit you with yesterday.”
Yoko poured a small bit of clear liquid from a bottle into a glass of water, before grabbing a piece of a dried plant from the cupboard and handing it and the water to Toge.
“Put the plant in your mouth then take a sip of the water. It will help your pain.”
“Do I swallow?”
“It will dissolve rather quickly.”
Yoko watched as Toge took the plant and finished the water.
“Are you hungry?”
“A little…”
“That’s too bad, you don’t get to eat until you’ve worked for it.”
“Worked?”
“Yes, please me somehow, and I will let you eat.”
“Go to hell.”
Yoko smirked.
“I thought you might say that.”
Toge glared at Yoko, who shrugged before getting up and leaving her alone to go join his bandits in their morning activities.
Toge lay back in the corner.
“I don’t need his food.” Toge mumbled, ignoring the loud growl from her stomach.
Toge glanced out the window, before cautiously crawling onto the bed. “Much better.” Toge settled onto the pillows before falling into a deep sleep.
A few hours later, Yoko and Kuronue entered Yoko’s house.
“Would you like a drink?”
Kuronue stared at the sleeping Toge.
“She’s very beautiful, thank you for her.” Yoko said softly.
“Does she please you, Master?”
“Very much.”
“Even after last night’s escape attempt?”
“I admire her spirit. It makes her more beautiful.”
“That’s not the only thing that makes her beautiful.” Kuronue added admiringly.
“No, not in the slightest. A lot of things make her beautiful.” Yoko’s eyes sparkle as he lets his eyes rove over her naked body, wrapped only in the thin sheet.
“She’s very thin though, has she eaten anything?”
“I told her she can’t eat until she does her job.”
“Master, that is so cruel.”
“It will teach her what her place is.”
“But…it’s not like you…”
“There are two sides to every coin, Kuro, you have just simply seen my good side, there is a dark side to everyone, and this is one of the times it is necessary to show that dark side in order to establish my dominance.”
“I think I like the good side better.”
“Are you saying you only love one half of your master?”
“No Master, I love all of you.” Kuronue replied. A slight blush creeping to his cheeks.
Yoko smirked and handed Kuronue a drink.
“Good.”
“Now watch and learn.” Yoko said as he walked over to the bed.
Yoko grabbed onto the sheet and yanked it, sending Toge rolling across the bed and onto the floor on the other side with a thud.
“I don’t recall giving you permission to sleep in my bed. you filthy rodent!”
Toge looked at him in shock.
“I-I’m s-sorry.”
“Yes, I know.” Yoko sneers.
Toge looked down and curled into a ball in an attempt to cover herself.
“You don’t have anything we haven’t seen before.”
Toge glared up at Yoko.
“Get up, we’re taking you to get washed up.”
Toge continued to glare at Yoko.
Yoko stalked to the other side of the bed and stood over Toge.
“I said, get up.”
“Not unless you give me something to cover with.”
Toge yelped as Yoko grabbed her hair and pulled her to her feet.
Kuronue grabbed the sheet she was wrapped in, and held it out for her. Toge took the sheet gratefully, as Yoko marched her out the door and across the camp with Kuronue close behind.
Yoko grabbed the sheet and pushed Toge into the narrow but deep stream that ran along the far wall of the Bandit’s camp.
Toge sunk up to her neck and stayed there shivering from the cold water.
“Are you trying to catch your death? Hurry and wash yourself.”
Toge glared at Yoko’s tone, but did as told.
Kuronue mercifully held the sheet out again as Toge emerged from the water, shivering uncontrollably.
Yoko walked back to his house. Kuronue followed with his arms around the trembling Toge in an attempt to dry her off.
Once inside, Kuronue sat Toge in front of the fireplace, and stirred the embers to a roar. Yoko came out of the luxurious walk-in closet and tossed some beautifully embroidered robes at Toge.
“I said already, I don’t need your gifts.” Toge snapped.
“Fine. Give them back and I’ll let you catch pneumonia and die.” Yoko glared at Toge as he held out his hands.
Toge looked away defiantly as she pulled the robes on.
Suddenly, the door burst open and three bandits came in carrying a fourth one who looked very sick.
“Sir, we found him in the woods, he was supposed to be on patrol.”
“Sagi!” Kuronue ran to his side as they lay him on an animal pelt next to Yoko’s bed.
“We think he’s been poisoned.” One of the men explained.
“Leave us, I will care for him.” Yoko commanded.
All of the men left except for Kuronue.
“Can I help?”
“Hand me one of those syringes on the table over there.”
Kuronue handed the needle to Yoko, being careful not to prick the fox.
Yoko drew a blood sample from Sagi and stood up.
“I’m going to go test this in the lab, keep him warm and get him to drink water.”
Kuronue nodded, kneeling next to the trembling badger demon, his gray hair soaked with sweat, his pink eyes flashing with pain.
About a half-hour later Yoko returned to a room full of concerned bandits kneeling around a very weak Sagi.
“Do you know what’s wrong with him, master?” Kuronue asked.
“I do.”
“Can you cure him?” asked another bandit.
“I can…please step back.”
Everyone stepped away. Yoko raised his hand.
“Please help me master.” Sagi begged weakly.
“Your service to me has not gone unnoticed” Yoko assured him.
A beam of light shot from Yoko’s hand, through Sagi, burning a hole in the floor.
Everyone stared in shock as Sagi’s eyes rolled back, and his chest stoped moving.
Toge shrunk back, horrified at Yoko’s barbaric act of killing his own man.
“Why master??” exclaims one of the bandits.
“He was not worthy of my time…now send someone else to go out and patrol. The rest of you retire to your rooms, I don’t want anyone out tonight except the centuries and patrolmen.”
Kuronue stared in shock at Sagi.
“Kodo, Luca, take care of his body for me.”
“May we give him a proper burial, master?” asked Luca, a young wolf demon with white hair and ice blue eyes.
“Traitors do not deserve burials.”
“Traitorsss?” asked Kodo, a snake demon with yellow eyes and golden-green hair.
“The poison coursing through his body was chidoku.”
“Blood poison? That’s only made by Fukuro, the owl Lord and his men!”
“That’s right, Luca, and it must be ingested, now how do you suppose our friend Sagi drank that poison?”
“It had to have been slipped to him in a drink…meaning he was eating at their table.”
“Yes, and thanks to him our entire camp is now at risk of attack! I have no way of knowing what he has told them. I want everyone to be on high alert for the next month.”
Both Kodo and Luca bowed.
“Yes sir.”
The two demons drug Sagi’s body out of the house.
Yoko turned his attention to Kuronue, who was still staring in shock at the hole in the floor made by Yoko’s power.
Yoko laid a hand on Kuronue’s shoulder and squeezed gently.
“Kuruee.”
Kuronue snapped out of his trance-like state and met Yoko’s concerned gaze.
“Go to your room, get some sleep, try to forget what has happened here tonight…I know that Sagi was your friend, and I am sorry.”
Kuronue nodded.
“Yes Master, I think sleep would be good.”
Kuronue touched Yoko’s elbow affectionately before leaving.
Yoko shivered slightly, crossing his arms over his chest for warmth, and closing the doors and windows tightly behind him before snuggling into his bed and pulling the covers up to is chin.
Toge drew the robes around her tightly and curled up in her corner.
Later that night, Yoko’s eyes fluttered open and his ears pricked forward at the sound of Toge shivering in the cold room.
He looked over at her. The moon was shining through the window that she lay under, perfectly illuminating her thin figure as she unconsciously tried to pull the short robe down to cover her bare feet in her sleep. Yoko noted that her hair was also still damp.
“Toge.”
Toge woke and shot Yoko a sleepy, puzzled look.
Yoko raised the covers with one hand.
“Get up here before you catch your death.”
Toge hesitated.
“I promise nothing will happen, we can keep each other warm is all…but first throw another log in the fireplace and stir it up a bit.”
Toge nodded, did as told, and climbed into the warm bed, allowing the fox to hug her small frame tightly to his body in the center of the large bed. Toge sighed, feeling the warmth spread throughout her.
“Better?”
“Yes…thank you.”
Yoko stroked her damp hair.
“I’m not completely heartless, little one.”
Yoko cradled his head into Toge’s neck before falling asleep spooned around her with his arm over her holding her close.
Toge woke still wrapped in Yoko’s arms. She hated to admit it, but she liked the feeling of security it gave her having him so close, almost like having her own personal bodyguard. She pulled the covers back, but shivered and pushed back into the kitsune’s warmth when the still-frigid air hit her bare arms. She felt the blanket being draped back around her as she was pulled closer to the fox.
“It is too early and too cold to get out of bed, little one.”
Toge blushed slightly as she felt Yoko’s breath brush her cheek.
Yoko felt Toge tense in his arms once she knew he was awake.
He softly brushed her hair with his hand.
“Relax, if I was going to do anything I’d already be doing it.”
Toge relaxed slightly.
Her ear twitched as Yoko whispered, “Good kitty.”
Toge let out a low growl.
“Sorry, was that insulting to a beautiful lynx like yourself? I mean after all, you are presently domesticated, so wouldn’t that make you my kitty?”
“I don’t know,” Toge bites in response, “is calling you a greedy swine an insult to a cunning fox such as yourself? There is a difference between captive and domestic, I am simply your prisoner, not your kitty.”
Yoko smiled as Toge crossed her arms over her chest and huffed.
“Are you hungry, little one?”
“Not hungry enough to earn it.”
Yoko smirked, grabbing Toge’s chin and gently turning her face toward his. He captured her lips in a gentle kiss.
Toge blinked at Yoko when he released her.
“You just did.”
Why didn’t I fight him?
Yoko smiled, getting up and walking to the kitchen area.
...Later that day…
Yoko sat on the end of his bed eating his dinner. Toge stared up at him from the floor.
Yoko shook his head.
“This morning was a free-bee because it makes me sick looking at you, you’re so thin! You’ll not get any more food until you learn to serve your purpose.”
“W-what would I have to do to please you?”
Toge blushed as Yoko looked at her in surprise.
“Well, I could teach you a few things…”
Toge slowly crawled over to Yoko’s feet looking up at him.
“I guess...I could learn…”
“What a good little slave.”
Damn it...she didn't last nearly as long as I'd hoped
Yoko leaned forward, stroking Toge’s hair.
Suddenly, there was a knock at Yoko’s door. He growled slightly in frustration before grunting for the person to enter.
Yoko’s expression changed almost instantly when he saw Kuronue step inside.
“Kuro, what can I do for you?”
“Master.”
Kuronue gave a bow.
“I’ve come to apologize.”
“Whatever for, Kuro?”
“Master, I was the one who convinced you to allow Sagi into our group…our laws state that I am to be punished for his actions.”
“But the punishment for betrayal is death!”
Kuronue dropped to his knees.
“Please show mercy and make it quick.”
“Kuro…I can’t…”
“You have to! If you don’t the other’s will see it as a sign of weakness.”
“I’m not going to kill my best friend!”
“Then you have to exile me…”
“That would just be a crueler form of death.”
“You are my second in command…I can make exceptions for you.”
“No. It was my fault, I must be punished.”
“Then I will think of a punishment that does not result in your death.”
Kuronue looked worriedly at Yoko.
“Go. Join the others, talk to them of how you are worried that I’ll punish you…I will think of something to cover both of our asses.”
“Yes sir.”
Kuronue gave a small bow before leaving.
Toge watched as the Kitsune fell deep into thought.
After several long moments, Yoko seemed to notice for the first time that Toge was still staring at him, and his plate of food, which had long since gotten cold.
“Are you still hungry?”
“Yes…”
“Then come closer, I’ll show you what you have to do to earn your first meal.”
Toge crawled closer and looked up at the Kitsune.
He slowly opened his robes to reveal an erect cock.
Toge fought to keep the surprise from her eyes.
“Take it in your mouth and suck on it.”
“What! No! I would never…”
“It is the only way to get food.”
“Then I will starve.”
“I’m through making deals with you!”
Toge shrunk back as anger flashes intensely in Yoko’s eyes.
“You are my slave, you will do what I say…like it or not!”
Yoko grabbed Toge roughly by the back of her head, forcing her mouth open despite her attempts to keep it closed, and shoved his cock fully into her mouth.
Yoko ignored Toge’s gagging, and began to fuck her mouth roughly.
Tears streamed down Toge’s face in response to the paralyzing gagging, and the intense pain in her throat as it fought against Yoko’s every action. Her throat burned intensely, she felt as though it was being rubbed raw…
Toge’s quiet whimpers for mercy just made Yoko continue harder and faster. Seeing the fear in her eyes, feeling her hot tears run onto his cock, they all drove him to a more intense feeling. He was no longer conscious of Toge’s pain or her need for relief. He no longer remembered the patience he had tried to have with his virgin captive. The demon in him was roaring. His blood vessels throbbed, his eyes glowed a more dangerous shade of yellow than usual…he was about to reach his climax when he was suddenly pulled out of his demonic lust trance by Toge. She was having a full-on panic attack. He stopped abruptly, pulling out of her mouth. Toge tried to gasp air through her raw throat, tears burning her eyes as the wind hit the sore skin and muscles.
Without a word the kitsune turned and poured her a glass of water. Handing it to her, he walked out without so much as a second glance.
Toge crawled on trembling knees back to her corner, her whole body was shaking. She had to find a way out of this nightmare. She had to get away from this evil kitsune.
