Chapter 2
Thanks for all the reviews and I'm really sorry this took so long to get out but enjoy!
The next day Kuwabara had shifted his mourning for his sister to the back of his mind as he stuffed his large hands into the pockets of his uniform and glanced around at the trees, knowing Hiei could appear out of nowhere.
“Human,” Hiei snorted as he jumped down from the tree, his crimson eyes landing on the taller teen.
A nerve in Kuwabara’s forehead pounded. “Short stuff,” he snarled as he stared down at Hiei. “Well, what are we going to do?”
“Why should I care,” Hiei turned his gaze away and felt the demon staring at him.
"Because if Yusuke doesn't get out of this soon he'll kill him self, and that will kill Kurama." Kuwabara pointed out, for once proving that he wasn’t the idiot that Hiei claimed him to be.
Hiei turned back around and looked Kuwabara in the eyes. "What do we do then?"
Kurama walked down the street with nowhere to go, really. He didn't get a wink of sleep usually, due to all his wet dreams about Yusuke and him. Just thinking about them made him begin to grow hard.
>Just go and fuck his brains out.<
(Didn't I tell you to shut up Yoko?)
>Hey, I was just trying to help.<
(Well you’re not helping, so fuck off.) Normally he wasn’t like this but the ancient fox spirit was pushing it.
Yoko growled at his human side and closed their mind link. Kurama looked up and he found himself in front of Kuwabara's home.
"Maybe, I can talk to him." The red headed makai walked up to the front door and rang the bell.
Yusuke slowly opened his eyes as he heard the sound the doorbell. He moaned as he rolled over and held his head. 'Bloody hangovers,' he thought as he sat up and looked around. "That’s right, I'm in Kuwabara's house."
The doorbell rang once more and Yusuke growled and got up. Who ever it was, was going to get it. Yusuke threw open the door " What?!" He asked with a snarl.
Kurama blinked and blushed a bit. He didn't think Yusuke would be here. "Sorry Yusuke."
"Oh, it's you Kurama." Yusuke said as he smiled the best he could. He hadn't seen Kurama in a while. "What is it?"
"I just need to talk to Kuwabara." Kurama had to fight hard to keep Yoko down. I mean come on, Yusuke was standing there in nothing but a pair of white silk boxers.
"I guess he’s not here. But come in anyway." Yusuke turned around and walked inside, Kurama followed but his eyes followed Yusuke's butt.
"Sorry if I snapped at you. I got a bad handover," Yusuke said as he sat down on the floor.
Kurama smiled, "I can make you something if you want," the red head said, wanting to cure the spirit detective’s hangover.
Yusuke nodded and lied down on the floor.
Kurama walked into the kitchen and pulled some seeds for herbs from his hair as he went about preparing the hangover cure.
>Come on, he has a hangover. Fuck him and leave!<
(Unlike you, I don't want people for their bodies, now shut the hell up!)
>You’re a pansy.<
(And you’re a slut.) Kurama snapped back, feeling a headache begin to grow.
Hiei looked down at the human from his tree. He had been there for at least forty-five minutes and he still had nothing. But what was brothering Hiei was the fact that the human seemed to off a little bit. He was clutching his head and groaning in pain and then the fox had shown up.
Why he was watching the detective in his partner’s house was beyond him as was the reason why the idiot he had unwillingly partnered with was not present in his home.
Unknown to Hiei Kuwabara was watching him from a little ways away, watching the quick movements and wishing he could stroke that skin and trace those scars.
Hiei turned at hearing the sound of a footstep behind him and saw the fool standing there. “Hn.”
“Anything happening?”
“Hn,” the crimson eyes turned back to the window, giving no regard to the human.
Yusuke took a deep breath and swallowed the concoction quickly, not wanting to smell it, much less taste it but at least afterwards his headache was gone.
“Yusuke, how have you been holding up?”
The spirit detective almost jumped at the sound of the makai’s voice before his mind caught up with him, reminding him that Kurama was there.
“I’m doing alright,” his voice cracked slightly and Kurama unconsciously wrapped his arms around Yusuke, stroking his back as he did so. “We were supposed to get married and have kids. Live happily ever after, ya know?” He buried his face in Kurama’s chest and could no longer hold in the sobs.
“I know, I know,” Kurama continued to stroke the once strong spirit detective’s back. The fox sat down on the couch and felt the uncomfortable silence fill the room as Yusuke curled up in a fetal position on his lap and sobbed his heart out.
>Just do it already,< Yoko’s voice echoed in the back of Kurama’s mind.
(No Yoko, that won’t help him,) Kurama chided the ancient spirit in his made.
Kuwabara stood staring at Hiei who just snorted and then continue to ignore him until Yusuke had finally fallen asleep again.
‘Why can’t you understand how I feel?’ His eyes met crimson and his heart began to beat slightly faster and then skipped a few beats. ‘Can’t you see how I’m madly in love with you?’
“Hm,” Hiei muttered before jumping from the tree in a blur of movement. Kuwabara knew he would be back in a few hours after he had taken his rest to watch during the night.
Why did love have to hurt? It took away Yusuke's life in the blink of an eye, and it left him to deal with it. Kurama wanted to cry himself. It wasn't fair! Love had taken Kuwabara's sister away and left him about as cold as Hiei.
Kurama patted Yusuke's back as the half-blood demon cried into his top. How do you give some one the world when they have lost everything that they held dear to them?
(I'm not going to tell him,) Kurama thought bitterly as he looked down at Yusuke's sleeping face.
>WHAT?! WHY NOT?!<
(He's lost everything he loved. He doesn't need me to tell him I love him.)
>Maybe he does...<
(Shut up, you just want to get in his pants.)
>No I just...<
(Whatever Yoko…)
Kurama closed the link but Yoko was trying to help him. Yoko knew that if his human side kept doing this it was going to get him.
Hiei watched Kuwabara with his third eye. Why did that human always stare at him like that? With loving eyes…
Hiei shook his head. Love was something only the weak feel! Damn humans... making him weak.
“Why don’t you stay the night,” Kuwabara offered as he stood there, chugging down a carton of milk. Yusuke had been sleeping all day and Kurama hadn’t moved an inch.
Kurama just dully nodded his head, unable to do anything else as Kuwabara folded down the futon and made the bed for Yusuke and Kurama, since the fox demon seemed to have no notion of leaving Yusuke’s side that night.
Kurama was asleep even before his head hit the pillow and Kuwabara decided it was time to go to bed himself as he entered his room and stripped, opening his window to feel the cool night air.
Hiei watched as he perched in the window, his eyes narrowed as he picked up a distinct moan from inside.
The lavender eye on his forehead slit open as he felt Kuwabara’s thoughts overwhelm him. The second he entered the psychics thoughts the feeling of passion overwhelmed him and he jumped into the room, beginning to stroke himself in frenzied need.
Kuwabara rolled, beginning to pant as the blanket was pulled over his hip, giving the fire demon a perfect view. Staring through narrowed eyes the demon felt another wave of pleasure hit him, hearing a name moaned from Kuwabara’s lips.
His name and that fact caused his heart to pound even as he inwardly swore at it. He didn’t care, he wasn’t weak enough to care.
So the fool was dreaming about him. A smirk touched his lips as his deft fingers found Kuwabara’s cock and began to stroke him, picking up the pace slightly and digging into the hot skin. He took the tip in his mouth, beginning to suck on it as Kuwabara grasped the blankets, thrashing at the touch as Hiei’s hot tongue slicked over it.
An orgasmic moan escaped as his hips arched upwards, driving further into the molten heat, the thrusts hard.
Hiei caught his hips, pinning Kuwabara’s thrashing hips down to keep him from going further before drawing away, licking away the precum that dripped from Kuwabara’s tip.
He left before the human awoke, throwing a final glance back, as he promised himself that next time he would get more.
The next day Kuwabara had shifted his mourning for his sister to the back of his mind as he stuffed his large hands into the pockets of his uniform and glanced around at the trees, knowing Hiei could appear out of nowhere.
