Chapter 2~~
"We left him for dead..." Hiei glared at Bui,
"And what do you think we could have done?!"
Toguro Ani turned to Sakyo, they had gotten out of the forest and met Sakyo, they were now on their way
around the wood to inform Karasu's father what happened.
"We are hoping that with help, we might be able to find Karasu still alive"
Sakyo nodded, "and his fiance?"
"We have not informed her yet"
They sat momentarily..."Obviously" said Sakyo, "you just got me..."
"Its fine" said Toguro Ototo "we'll pretend you're not an idiot"
They all chuckled in an attempt to keep their heads together, although they all knew all thoughts were on their friend,
praying he would return home safely.
~~Karasu~~
'Ow my head'
His eyes opened slowly, it wasnt too bright, but the after effects of the pollen were killing him none the less.
Wait a second! Where the Hell was he!?
The crow sat up and scanned his surroundings, he was in some sort of cell. He lay directly across from a large iron door
that was about a foot off the ground. The floor itself was plain dirt and in the
middle of the room there was a small wooden table with two little stools. The ceiling was very high up, and there was a
small rectangular barred window about twenty feet up. He could see that there was ground...So he guessed they put him
in some sort of dugout thing.
"I cant believe this" he growled indignantly, "I'M the FUCKING SON OF A DUKE!!"
"Yes, and that doesnt matter here"
He whirled around to face the door and saw none other than Yoko Kurama closing the door
behind him, he was holding...
"Food?"
Yoko slammed the tray on the table, it was half a loaf of bread, a bit of meat and some water and cheese.
"Unlike you aristocratic pigs, we dont treat our prisoners like barbarians"
He hissed these words making sure that it was perfectly clear that he was looking down on Karasu.
"hpmf" said Karasu, "I never thought I would meet someone with such a one track mind dedicated to that
which they knew nothing of"
Yoko scowled, "I know plenty"
"You know nothing"
"Watch, I dont have to feed you"
"Oh? But wont your fellow THIEVES be morally outraged?"
"At least they have morals"
Karasu fell silent, but settled for glaring. Yoko smirked, "cant think of any defense?"
"Hardly, but haven't you ever heard the say 'a soft answer turns away wrath'? I dont feel like playing some childish
game of throwing insults back and forth" He flashed a brilliant smile before turning away, showing he was intent
on ignoring the angry fox.
"Do NOT turn your back on me" Yoko said through clenched teeth
"I will turn my back on whomever I want" was the quick retort
The crow smirked, feeling very pleased with himself, after all, He was quite sure he had won the arguement.
"YAAAAAAAAWWWHH!"
Karasu turned and was immediatly tackled to the ground and found a seething kitsune on top of him.
Said fox leaned down so that his next words were hissed in the other's face, "I will not be treated with
disrespect"
Karasu raised an eyebrow "are we still angry cause I hit you?"
"WHY DID YOU KISS ME?!"
Karasu froze at the question, why did he do it? It was more or less on impulse he had thought...But why wasnt he sure?
Yoko sat up, "dont ever do it again"
"I'd rather rot than kiss YOU again"
"Stupid Crow!"
"Ugly Fox!"
And with that Yoko stormed out, slamming the door as he left.
Karasu sat up, why would he do it? Well, this little 'ghost' theif certainly wasnt ugly, but he sure knew how to pick a fight.
He glared at the table, if he werent a prisoner who no idea where he was...He might like that cute little fox...CUTE??!!
Karasu groaned, 'I'm already going insane!'
~~**Yoko**~~
"I should kill him!" grumbled Yoko to his friend, "I should go back down there and kill him!"
Kuronue smiled, "I dont understand why you didn't kill him in the first place"
Yoko glared at him, "you're not helping"
"I guess it was for the best though...wouldn't want that kind of trouble, ne?"
The other stared at him, "what do you mean?"
Kuronue frowned, "...You have no idea who you kidnapped do you?"
"..."
"Thats ok, I mean you mostly stay away from the market place but, that young man in the dungeon is Karasu,
the son of the Duke, Seigfreid Lechensky(I thought up a name on the spot!)"
Yoko paled "...oh...CRAP!"
Kuronue laughed, "so its too bad you went down and got him pissed"
"you heard that?"
"ah my friend, no doubt everyone withing a three mile radius heard it"
Yoko pouted, "I will not apologize"
"I do not recall asking you too..."
"Good"
"...So he kissed you eh?"
Yoko growled and stoomped off, leaving the bat chuckling behind.
.....
.....
.....
'It's not like I liked it...NOPE!' Yoko sighed, he had no idea what to do about the prisoner, and that left him frustrated.
Of course he wanted to protect the village, but something kept him from killing the crow. He knew that if he let him go,
they would be found out for sure, the only reason people had not already searched the forest and found them, was the
fact that they thought it was haunted by a ghost...Him.
That kiss...It had been so random...but so...so...nice.. He had never been one for touching, his own father had always
been there of course, but as he got older, his father would not let anyone near him. Ah yes, the old man was a strong
believer in chasity.
"Well, at least you are in better shape than him"
The looked up and smiled at his friend, Yusuke, "what do you mean?"
"Karasu, that aristocrat you kidnapped," Said Yusuke, pretending to miss the way Yoko flinched, "He's been pacing the
cell, muttering something about a 'damn confusing fox' and NOT liking something or another..."
Yoko raised an eyebrow, "He already went crazy?"
((Karasu)) ^3 hours later, sunset^
Karasu sat in his 'bed', glaring at the door. He had been like this for about 20 minutes, hardly even blinking.
He had grown tired of pacing, trying to figure out how exactly he could get out, only to have his mind drift to his captor.
The door creaked open, and said captor stepped in, holding what looked to be a piping hot bowl of stew.
Yoko kept his head down, though he could tell that he was on the recieving end of a glare. The silence was unbearable,
he wanted to leave..
"I hate you"
The silence was broken and Yoko's head snapped up. Karasu was standing right infront of him, blocking his route to
the table. Yoko didnt know why, but that had almost hurt.
He scowled, "I really dont care, now MOVE!"
He went to shove him with his elbow, but Karasu caught both his wrists and caused him to drop the stew.
"I hate you so much..." He started to lean closer
"L-let me go"
"Stupid little fox..." Karasu leaned down and brushed his lips slightly agoinst the other's. His arms slid down Yoko's and
came to rest on his hips, pulling them closer. Yoko stood frozen, and then hesitantly went along with the movements and
put his arms around Karasu's neck.
Karasu pulled back slightly, "open your mouth"
Yoko frowned, a bit puzzled, but complied, opening his mouth till it formed a small "o".
Karasu leaned forward again, and slipped his tounge into the younger's mouth, and began to taste him.
Yoko's breathing quickened and he whimpered, the left hand previously placed on his hip had began massaging the base
of his tail, and the right was now firmly squeezing his ass. He blushed when he felt something poke his leg, and stood on
his toes in order to shove his body against Karasu's.
The crow growled and squeezed harder, earning a yelp, he chuckled, "naughty fox"
"YOKO!!!"
They broke apart and looked around frantically, trying to see who caught them.
"Yoko! Where are you?!"
Finally they looked towards the window, "it is Kuronue...." whispered Yoko, "he didnt see" he breathed a sigh of relief then
turned to glare at the crow, "I remember telling you NOT to do that again!"
"I remember you liking it"
"I did NOT!"
"I did"
Yoko blinked, he hadn't expected that honesty. "Although I suppose that it is probably just pre-wedding jitters, I am engaged
you see and I feel maybe that could be the only reason soeone of my caliber and class would even look at rabble like you"
Karasu smirked, mentally kicking himself, for he had forgotten about his engagment till that very moment.
Yoko's eyes narrowedand his ears layed back, "You are nothing but a selfish pig that lives of his father's wealth; You nobles are
all alike, slaves to society and bastards to everyday life and hard work!"
Karasu rolled his eyes, "It is quite foolish to use one's entire vocabulary in a single sentece"
Yoko smiled, he turned around and took three steps to the door, swaying his hips dramatically, and feeling Karasu heated stare.
He readhed the door and looked over his shoulder, "so why do you do it?"
And he left to leave the crow fuming.
