Koenma groaned as his eyes fluttered opened and felt the chains.He took the place in, a toilet with a privacy screen, a small bed and a small window. He gave the chains a tug and they shocked him, making him yelp. "Now, now don't get your pretty self hurt." A man said and Koenma jerked back as the blue haired man entered. He approached the God and watched him. "Koenma. Don't worry." The man said. Koenma raised an eyebrow at his voice. "Who are you?" He asked, trying to steady his voice and the man/demon smiled. "The name is Kanari-hito, at your service.)
Koenma gave him a confused look and Kanari-hito caressed his cheek. Koenma moved away and stared with big bewildered eyes. "I'm not going to hurt you. Are you thirsty? Hungry?" The demon asked and Koenma wasn't sure if he could trust him. "I'll bring you something good." Kanari-hito left and Koenma rubbed his wrists, the skin he could touch felt raw. "Man I hate this shit." He swore to himself.
Kanari-hito returned with a tray full of various selections of food. A sandwhich, soup, a couple of strawberry rice bassl and a thermos of water. "Here you are." The demon sat it down and saw the look on Koenma's face. "I didn't do anything to it. I'm not going to do anything to hurt you." He caressed Koenma's brown hair and he got the picture loud and clear.
Koenma picked up the tray and started eating while the demon watched him. "You have really pretty hands." He said and Koenma looked from him to the other wall. "Why did you take me?" The God asked. Kanari-hito gazed at him and got up. "I hate to be rude, but I must take my leave." He said and Koenma rattled his chains. "Why!?" He yelled and the demon looked at him as he opened the door. "Because I want you to be my mate and bare my children." He left the stunned God alone with huge eyes.
He finished the food and sat in the corner, looking for any means of escape. None. He tested the legnth of the chain and quickly used the toilet, with a sigh he flushed and sat on the bed. I wish I had my pacifier. That guy wants me as a mate? Wants me to bare his children? I don't get it. He thought and tried the chains again, attempting to break it. He was shocked again and cried out. Frustrated he left them alone. "Fucking chains!" He yelled and sat, thinking what to do.
Meanwhile Botan and the others arrived in the Dark Realm, looking around. "Well this looks promising." Hiei said as a couple of demons walked by, eyeing them. Yusuke smiled and shoved his hands into his jean pockets, kciking the dirt. "Well we've seen worst." He said and Kurama tapped Kuwabara's shoulder, getting his attention. "Do you think you can sense him like you did with Yukina?" He asked.
"I don't know, this is different." Kuwabara said truthfully and Botan handed him the pacifier. "Use this, it might work. Just concentrate." She said. Kuwabara took it and breathed deep. He felt a strange vibration coming from the left and was sure it was Koenma he felt. "I think he's that way. It's fuzzy and it comes and goes, but I'm sure it's him. Just very weak." He said and Yusuke raised a fist into the air. "Right! Lets go." He shouted and they walked the way Kuwabara pointed. It wasn't long before they reached a dark danky forest. "Man what is with us always having to go through the woods?" Yusuke groaned.
"Let's just get going, we don't know what's happening to him." Kurama said and felt Hiei looking at him as he spoke. "What?" He asked his friend and Hiei shrugged. "Nothing." They continued until a demon like ninja flipped out of the bushes. "No one goes further." The demon said and Kuwabara rubbed his lip. "Oh yeah and who are you?" The demon posed with his fangs gleaming. "The names Kaji. It'll be the last name you'll ever hear again!"
Kaji threw a spear of energy at them which they dodged and Kuwabara drew his spirit sword. "I think you need to open your eyes." Hiei had his sword drawn as well and Kaji threw some ninja stars at them. Hiei knocked them away with his sword. "You'll have to do better than that!" Hiei said and slashed the demon. Kaji fell in a heap and they put their swords away.
They then continued through the forest and stopped at a fork in the road. Yusuke looked at both directions, then turned to Kuwabara. "Which one is it Kuwabara?" The red head relaxed and tried to get a fix on it. He opened his eyes and looked at the path to the right. "That one. I'm sure of it." He said and Yusuke turned to Botan. "Botan, why don't you go back to HQ. We don't want you to get hurt in this." He said.
Botan was about to argue but stopped. "Okay, but as soon as you find him, contact me." She said and jumped on her oar then flew off. The gang headed off in the path Kuwabara chose and after a bit they were stopped by Kurama. "There is someone close by. I can smell it." He said and Kuwabara tried to sense it, but couldn't tell. "I can't sense anything." He said.
When they took a step forward, a spray of quills stopped them. "Tresspassers!" The beast jumped out, a large looking demon with black like porcipine quills coveing his body. The demon smiled, showing his jagged teeth. "We aren't tresspassers. We're looking for a friend." Yusuke growled and the demon looked at them with a smile. "Oh? You wouldn't be talking about the sexy guy with the JR mark on his forehead would you?" He taunted.
They gasped and the ususal close up came on their faces. "Where is he!?" Yusuke yelled. The demon laughed and they clenched their jaws. "By the by the names Itami. Now it's time for you to die!" He shook his arms and the giant quills flew at them. The group managed to dodge and Yusuke kicked him in the head. "Why was he taked!?" He yelled again. Itami grabbed him and threw Yusuke threw him into a tree. Kurama took out his rose whip and ripped through the prickly demon.
Blood sprayed all over and the demon Itami was staring blankly. "Let's hurry on now." Kurama said and they finished through the forest, ending up at a creepy looking castle. They stared at it and felt a strong spirit energy near by. Kuwabara frowned. "You guys. I can't sense Koenma that much anymore." He said, worried and Yusuke gritted his teeth. "Well come on! Let's find him!" He said roughly and they opened the doors, slowly entering.
