Unlikely Lovers Become Unlikely Fathers

A/N: oops again. Lama-sama informed me that Aiekichi is a boy and evidently I have the name spelled wrong. Well I'm not gonna fix it now. Sorry, I'm wee bit lazy. And I've only seen what CN has to show and on there Kuwa said that Aiekichi was a girl. So I'm stickin' with that.

LK: Now, I decided to take a break from studying to work on Ch. 2. *looks around* Shh. Be very, very quiet. My muses don't know I'm at the computer.

Toboe: What'cha doin' LK?

LK: Ack! *falls out of chair* uh, nothing?

Toboe: Can I help?

LK: *climbs back in her chair* Sure, why not.

Yusuke: *jumps out of nowhere putting LK in headlock* I thought you were studying for Anthropology.

Kuwabara: Hey! Urameshi! That's not nice!

Yusuke: I'll show you nice in minute. *looks pointedly at Kuwa*

Kuwabara: *blushes*

LK: Can't.....breath.......just.....wanna......write........one.......chap......

Yusuke: Okay. *lets go of LK*

LK: Ahh! Sweet Air!

Kuwabara snuggled deeper in the warmth under his head, rousing only when he felt something hard sticking rudely in his ear. Opening his eyes he saw Hiei staring down at him blankly.

"What happened?"

"You fainted." Hiei replied, running his ers ers through the human's hair.

Kuwabara's eyes widened in rememberance and he sat up in a split second. "I'm Pregnant." He muttered covering his eyes with a groan. "How did this happen Hiei?"

"Magic."

Cerulean eyes turned to glare at the small demon. "Did you do this to me on purpose?"

Hiei stared back, his crimson eyes unblinking. "Yes."

Kuwabara growled in frustration and stalked away. After a few minutes Hiei stood to follow him into their bedroom, only to find that the young man had locked him out.

"Kuwa."

"Go away."

"Kuwabara."

"I said go away damn it!"

Hiei sighed and flicked out of sight only to reappear outside their bedroom window. What he saw took his breath away.

Kuwabara had removed his shirt and pants, leaving only his fire print boxers on his muscled body. He had moved a chair over to sit in front of the full length mirror which hung on the closet door. He sat there, staring at his reflection, not really seeing what was there. His hands lay on his flat and hard stomach, occasionally moving in small circles, as if trying to embrace what was growing inside of him.

Hiei quietly opened the window, before slipping inside.

"Kuwa..." Hiei whispered as he moved behind his mate, wrapping his arm around the taller male's neck. "I should have told you."

"Told me my butt, you should'a asked first!"

Hiei nuzzled his cheek against Kuwabara's, pulling away in shock at the tears he found there. "You're right, I should have asked." He started to pull away completely, unwrapping himself when Kuwabara caught his smaller hand and held it against his cheek.

"So, what're we gonna name it?"

The fire demon came around to sit in front of his human on the floor. Gently, slowly he reached out to carress the hard stomach. "I'll leave that up to you." Crimson eyes met cerulean before they leaned towards one another for a chaste kiss.

"Thanks."

"Hey Grandma ya home?!" Yusuke yelled as he walked up the steps.

"Quiet down dim wit, I'm old not deaf!" Genkai grumbled, moving the door aside so that Yusuke could see her. "What is it this time?"

"Well, we got a situation."

The old woman rolled her eyes. "When do we not?"

"Well, this time it's different...."

"Spit it out already Bonehead."

"Can we all kinda stay with you for a few months?" Yusuke asked.

Genkai raised an eyebrow. "What for?"

Yusuke looked at her, his face gaining a grave expression. "You know that Hiei and Kuwabara have been together for awhile now right?"

She nodded her head.

"Well, Hiei's worried. He said he's made a lot of enemies and he wants to move Kuwabara to a safer location, with all of us here to take care of him."

"Keeping him here for a few months won't solve any problems."

Yusuke sighed, she'd find out sooner or later. "Kuwabara's pregnant."

Genkai's eyes widened, the only indication that she was shocked.

"With Kuwabara's condition, we don't want him using any of his powers. We figured that if we were all here we could keep him safe." Yusuke bit his lip, waiting for her answer.

The old woman sighed, there really was no other way. Kuwabara was in no condition to hide in the Spirit World where he'd be safest. And with Yukina here at the temple, Kuwabara would indeed be safer here.

"Spread the word and bring everyone here." She sighed and went back inside to clean out the guest rooms. "Just what I need." She mumbled. "More brats to trip over."

Toboe: It was sweet. *smiles*

Kuwabara: .........

Yusuke: Kuwabara's Pregnant! *rolls on the floor laughing*

Tsume: *stands close to Toboe*

LK: *sweat-drops* okay...... Wasn't that enlightening..... yeah..... Until next time!
