Chapter Two
Chapter Two
Karasu walked out of the bar with a fairy pulled behind him. He pushed the fairy to a nearby wall and tilted the fairy’s head to the side. Karasu licked the side of the fairy’s neck before sinking his teeth into the warm flesh. The fairy struggled against Karasu, but he held the fairy still. Blood spilt down the fairy’s neck as Karasu drank the fairy’s last drops of blood. He let the body fall to the floor and wiped his mouth with a handkerchief. Karasu looked into the distance and saw Hiei walking towards, “A fairy.” He inched closer to get a better look at the two on the street. ‘Why doesn’t the fairy run away? Make him regret not running away, Hiei.’ Hiei approached Kurama slowly so that he didn’t scare him. He pushed his hands into his pockets and stopped against the wall out of the street light. “Were you looking for me Kurama?” Kurama smiled and let his wings lower behind his back. “What if I was? I wanted to find the vampire who was spying on me while I was swimming.” Hiei grinned. “Well, you found me.” He looked over Kurama’s thin frame. “Tell me, do all fairies swim naked or just you?” Kurama placed a hand on his hip and blushed. “Ummm..I think just me. Why were you watching me in the first place.” Hiei stepped off the wall and in a second, he was up next to Kurama. He walked behind Kurama and moved his hair off of his neck. Neck. He ran his lips across Kurama’s neck. “I was following you because I wanted to taste your fairy blood.” Kurama lowered the hand on his hip and tilted his head to the side. “Take what you want, but I can assure you that my kind will hunt you down and kill you.” Hiei kissed the soft skin on Kurama’s neck and then stepped in front of Kurama. “Not yet love, but watch yourself because I might decide to take you another time.” “I’m not afraid of you.” Hiei sighed and licked his fangs. “I know. Your friend Kuronue told me.” Kurama’s eyes widened. “You killed him didn’t you?” Hiei ran a finger down Kurama’s jaw line. “I did, and if you wanted to know, he didn’t say why you’re not afraid of vampires. Why aren’t you?” Kurama narrowed his eyes. “Why are you so interested in my life when all you’re going to do is take it?” Hiei raised an eyebrow. “I don’t know, but for some reason I want to learn about you. You fascinate me.” His hand gently touched Kurama’s cheek. Kurama backed away from the touch. “I bet you say that to all of your victims right before you kill them.” “No. Most victims, I just kill them. But you, there’s something about you that I can’t just kill.” Hiei stepped closer to Kurama and kissed him full on the lips. He held Kurama close so that he couldn’t pawayaway. The warmth of Kurama’s lips sent waves of pleasure throughout Hiei’s body. Hiei slipped his tongue into Kurama’s mouth. He could taste the sweetness of fresh picked honey suckle in Kurama’s warm mouth. Their kiss lasted for no more than a minute, but seemed like an eternity. Hiei let go of Kurama and watched him fly away as quickly as he could. His wings sparkled in the dim light. A small object fell to the ground as Kurama ran away. Hiei walked to the object and picked it up. He studied the detailed container. The object was in the shape of a small sword. A rose wrapped around the sword and ended at the top where it opened. The vial was held on a long string made of a green vine. He opened the vial and sprinkled some of its contents into his hand. The powder like sprinkles glittered in his pale hand. “Fairy Dust.” Hiei blew the powder into the street. He placed the necklace around his neck and grinned. Karasu appeared beside Hiei. “He’s just a fairy, nothing more than food.” Hiei tucked the necklace under his tight black long sleeved shirt. “I’ll be leaving for a few nights.” “Where are you going?” Hiei smirked and walked out of the ally. “I’m going to find him and claim as my own.” Hiei ran out of the ally before Karasu could say anything. Karasu shook his head and walked away into he darkness.
