Kurama's Change

Morning crept over the sky and shined its bright rays into Kurama’s room. Green eyes slowly opened, but quickly squinted to shield themselves from the bright light. He softly groaned and stretched. A warm body lay beside him, curled into a ball. Kurama got out of bed and walked into the bathroom. He turned on the water and waited for the warmer water to pour out. He shed his clothes and stepped into the shower. As he washed his hair, he softly sand out loud, “It’s not time to make a change, just relax, take it easy. You’re still young, that’s your fault. There’s so much you have to know.” He paused to rinse his hair, but then continued, “How can I try to explain? When I do, he turns away again. It’s always been the same, same old story. From the moment I could talk, I was ordered to listen. Now there’s a way, and I know, but I have to go away.” He hummed the rest of the song as he finished washing himself. When he stepped out of the shower, he saw Hiei sitting on the sink. He smiled and reached for the towel beside Hiei. “Good morning koibito. Did you sleep well?” Kurama wrapped the towel around his waist and hugged Hiei. Hiei placed his hand on Kurama’s leg and slowly moved it up under the towel, onto Kurama’s length. “I ask you again, are you sure that you want to do this? Won’t you miss this?” Hiei moved is hand over Kurama’s manhood. Kurama pulled away from Hiei. He walked out of the bathroom and opened his closet. “Yes Hiei, this is what I want. I’m sorry if it bothers you, but you will see how much you’ll enjoy it later.” He took out a pair of jeans and a tee-shirt. “Please get dressed so that we can go.” Hiei nodded and quickly dressed in his Makai clothes. Kurama dried off and put on his clothes. He saw that Hiei was wearing his usual fighting clothes that he wears in the Makai. “Hiei, what are you wearing?” Hiei raised an eyebrow. “Clothes.” Kurama glared at Hiei. “I mean you’re wearing your Makai clothes.” “What’s your point?” “Humans are not used to seeing three eyed demons with strange clothes.” Hiei pointed to his forehead. “I’m wearing this cloth over my Jagan eye and these are NOT strange clothes.” Kurama shook his head. “Whatever you say koi.” He picked up a backpack and grabbed hiei’s hand. “Let’s go.” The two walked out of Kurama’s house and through the busy streets where they lived. They approached the hospital. “Are you ready Kurama?” Kurama smiled and gave Hiei a quick kiss. “Of course.” Hiei turned to Kurama. “This will be the last time I see you as you are.” Kurama placed a hand on Hiei’s cheek. “Don’t worry, we’ll love each other the same. Now, let’s go.” They walked into the building and up to the nurse at the counter. Kurama spoke to the nurse in a calm voice, “Excuse ma’am.” The nurse turned to Kurama. “How may I help you sir?” “I’m here to see Dr. Urimeshi.” The nurse nodded and handed Kurama a clipboard with many papers on top. “Please fill these out in the waiting room and I will let the doctor know that you’re here Mr. Minamino.” “Thank you.” Kurama took the clipboard and walked to the waiting room with Hiei. They sat down. Kurama filled out the several papers while Hiei watched him. He touched Hiei’s hand. “You seem nervous.” “Just worried is al. Maybe you shouldn’t go through with this.” “It’s okay Hiei. I’ll be fine. Can I trust that you will remain calm in the waiting room?” “Yes Kurama.” “No killing?” “Fine, but if anyone hurts you,” Kurama covered Hiei’s mouth before he could finish. “I’ll be fine, don’t you even worry about me.” Hiei smiled and kissed Kurama. They broke the kiss so that Kurama could finish the paper work. After Kurama was done, he and Hiei walked to the nurse at the counter. “Please follow me Mr. Minamino. The doctor is ready for you.” Kurama nodded and released his hold on Hiei’s hand. Hiei watched Kurama walk into the back with the nurse. “Don’t be too long. I love you.” He turned around and sat back down and rested his head on the wall behind him. “Kurama…”
