“Home sweet home,” Yusuke said; they ran into Genkai’s forest. Kuwabara was the last one to the temple, kneeling down attempting to catch his breath. The others were already explaining, to the girls what was going on. And suddenly Kuwabara strength came back, when he saw the love of his life Yukina. “Hey Yukina!” he called out to her. She laughed, as she watched him run to her. “I’m glad to see you are okay, Kazuma.” “Your night in shinning armor; is here to protect you.” Yukina felt uncomfortable, but just smiled at the large human

“Stupid baka,” Hiei growled. He often pondered; how something so stupid, could live so long. It had been almost 1 year, since he had seen Yukina; in person. but checking on her, using the jagan; to check on her, time to time. It was nice to see her face again, she was growing older. Her hair was longer, but her smile still remained the same. He noticed; that she had been happy, not only to see the carrot top, but also him. And found it strange, when she attempted; eye contact with him. He would nod his head.

“Kuwabara,” the fox scolded him. “Sorry Kurama,” the large human apologized. He sighed, as he continued. “There is a very powerful demon; his name is Katsurou, is determed to bring the three worlds, together as one. He has most of the demon world, under control. Now as we speak, we have people gathering for war. Human world, as you all are aware is under attack. We are here to take you, to demon world. So you can be closely motored. “Where are you going to put us fox boy,” Shizuru said. As she flicked her cigarette, in to the ash tray. “Mukuro has a fortress, One wing is large enough, to fit us all in nicely. “What about our families;” Kekio cried. She had been shaken up from this, whole ordeal. “You don’t have to worry; your family is safe with us Kekio.” He said, in a soothing voice, mostly calming Kekio; and the others down.

Yusuke, held the shaking woman in his arm. He whispered tell her it was okay. He knew her option; on demons. And ever since, he defeated Sensui. Things between them; felt strange. They still loved each other, but it was like sometimes, she was scared of him. He was little embarrassed, at her out burst; and pulled her back against his chest. They rarely ever showed displays of affection to each other in public, but this was a matter of taking her by will, or force. “It’s okay, he whispered coolly.” we’ll bring Puu, and you and I will have our own room. “He wiggled his brows at her, which made her laugh a little. “You’re such a perv.”

“Now, we will split up in groups;” the fox said. You all have beans, I gave you. He said. As he reached into his pocket, making sure he had enough for his family. He was in the same situation, as Yuskue was. He would find Emilea, and take her to demon world; he would take on Mukuro’s suggestion. Revile himself to her, if they were to become mates, it would be better; in the long run. And if she didn’t except him, he would just wipe her memory. “What do these things do?” Shizuru asked. Taking the fox out of his thought


“Well, they are attach to the body; they preserve it, for what it is and keep it at that state until the bean is removed. So please use caution, when placing the beans. Kurama said, as he then looked to Kuwabara. “Now to get into groups, Kuwabara; you take your sister. Kekio, go with Yuskue.” And he said, before the angered human; could reject to him. “And Yukina,” He smiled. When she looked, at him with excitement. “You come with Hiei, and myself.” “What?!” the carrot top screamed, “That’s not fair!” she looked over to him; “I will be fine Kazuma, you worry about your family okay. They are the most important”


“Okay Yukina,” Kuwabara said. “Just be careful with her,” He glared to the fox, and the shrimp. She walked over to the two men, happily as she looked Hiei. “I know you will keep me safe, Mr. Hiei.” Yukina said. As she looked to the fox, “I’m ready, to help your family.” The fox nodded, and thought to himself. “She is a very sweet creature,” and was still pondering, how Hiei could be her twin.


They made it to human world; they stopped as the stench of the dead human bodies, floated around the area. "The poor humans," She said; as she looked around. Kurama was also quite worried. He knew his family was safe, but didn't know about his love interest. She was strong willed, and he was sure, she could fend for herself. But then he remembered that they were to take the prisoner. But sadly enough, not all demons followed there commander. And satisfy there huger for humans, witch was mostly for women and children. As they stood there, Yukina saw a small boy. He looked to be about eight, his body was torn in to pieces; his internal organs were eaten, and he was missing his arms. She gasped, as she started to cry. She began to walk forward, with her hand over her eyes. "Do you think, it was such a good idea? To take her now fox?" the protective brother growled.

Kurama did admit that he felt horrible; for making such a sheltered demon. Such as Yukina, see such horrible things. But he couldn’t let her stay alone; and if she were to travel with Kuwabara. He would be so side tracked, that he wouldn't get a thing done. Plus, he wanted Hiei; to see his sister. He walked forward, taking the small demon's shoulder. And noticed that she was much smaller framed; then he was. He lightly hugged her, “we can fix this. All the humans; will return back to normal. Once we kill this demon.” his words, soothed the demon; And she stopped crying, as she took a deep breath.


"It just makes me worry, that my brother hurt; and no one is there to help him." He is safe, I promise you. He looked towards Hiei, who couldn't stand the outburst of his sister; and decide to move forward." He smiled at the demon, interrupting her before she could speak. “Let’s get going, you don’t want Hiei; to beat us there do you?” she nodded, as she began to run, with Kurama to his home.


They followed, Hiei landed in front of the door. The first thing he noticed was that there were about 20 dead demon bodies; on the ground next to his house. And there were vines that reeked, of demon blood. It always amazed him, how Kurama; always planed a head. A few moments later, Kurama and Yukina. Were running up, it shocked him that she could keep up with them; and not be out of breath. This made him, some what proud.Yukina stood next to him, as Kurama looked towards the twins. "I'm going in alone; Stay out here.”

“They nodded, as he crept up the stairs. He was happy, that he planted those vines there, when he returned from demon; world the first time. He was aware, that his mother brought his step father home, from the hospital. He was in stable condition, but his mother missed him, being home. He slipped in unheard, as he walked up the stairs. He could hear his mother, comforting his frightened step brother. He just told himself, that he was lucky. They were still alive, he crept up the stairs, and quickly before they noticed; placed a bean on there necks. He coughs them, so they wouldn't hurt themselves falling. He then walked, into his mother’s room. Placing the bean, on his sleeping stepfather’s neck. He walked into his room, gathering more cloths; plants and hinge products. He knew it would be awhile, and in told the others, to do the same.

Yukina was very weary of her surroundings. She was looking at all the dead demons, who attempted to get into Kurama’s house. “He’s always one step ahead.” She attempted, to start a conversation with him. Hiei nodded, he never knew what to say to his sister, “Have you heard, from my brother lately?” he closed his eyes, she always asked that question and only to him. Was he supposed to have some like secret connection, with her brother? What was the fox telling her?


“It’s about that thing, you wanted to tell him. if you tell me, I can relay the message.” She smiled, this made him happy. “Well, it has to do with our heritage.” She attempted to continue, when the compact went off. “It will be one moment, Mr. Hiei, she said as she reaching in to her kimono. Getting the compact, She sighed as she smiled; “Hi Kazuma.” “Hey Yukina! How are they treating you?” “Fine she said as she was glad to see Kazuma made it back alright.

“Get off that damn compact, and get your ass over; here you still haven’t packed. And she’s safe she’s, with her br...”She stopped her self. “Hiei and Kurama.” “Well alright, good by my love.” he said, as he closed the compact. As she sat on the living room sofa; Shizuru; had already packed her belongings. And a few cartons of cigarettes, and a few things of alcohol. While her brother, was attempting to figure out how the device worked. “So tell me about; this Mukuro dude. Is he some type of strong demon or something?”Kuwabara was in his room. As he began; to pack his thing, searching for kekichi.traveling sales man to come home.

“Yeah, and you’ll never guess what.” “what?” she said, as she lit a cigarette. “From what Kurama says, Hiei and her; are like married.” this made her almost, drop her cigarette; and she coughed. on the drag she inhaled. “What?!” “He had some strange bite mark, on his neck; and he said they became mates.” He said, as he attempted; to find his cat. He couldn’t leave her behind. A few moments pass, as she heard a loud cry; from his room. “Got her!” He said. As he carried two bags, and limp cat into the living room.

“Lucky enough, dad just got home.” The man stood about 6’2, and was a very slim figure. He wore glasses, had his orange hair, and pulled back into a pony tail. Two earrings in his left ear, and a cigarette in his mouth. “Hey kids,” he said. As he walked in the door. After a few moments of talking, she noticed. That her brother was taking to long to put him asleep. So she took the bean from his hand, and walked over. “ I sure missed you, dad!” she said. As she wrapped her arms around his neck; in a hug. She placed the bean, on his shoulder knocking him out.

“Alright kid, I did it lets get back to the temple. Before those demons, see us. They placed there father, on his back; and his back pack along with hers. “Hey sis, why don’t you give me a brake; what are you caring?” “Why, one of your most prized positions. “She picked up, the young cat.” “Fine, as long as you keep her safe.” He said as they walked out the door.

On the way to the temple, the compact began to ring. Kuwabara looked to his pocket, and then to his sister. “Hey can you get that? my hands are kind of full; she sighed. “Do I have to do everything, baby bro?” “Shut up Shizuru!” he said loudly. She opened the compact, as she saw Botan. “Hey ferry what’s going on, all clear here.” she said, as she dropped her cigarette butt; on to the concrete, putting it out.

“We are having some minor problems.” she said, as Yusuke’s spirit gun; could be seen shooting across the screen. “Well I bet he’s enjoying it,” she thought to her self. “Well do you need help, I can lend you Kazuma.” “I’m not your slave, okay!’ “He has it under control; it seems to be that his mother. Was drunk again, and let the demons in. well lucky she sobered up, enough to realize; they were trying to kill. her and fought back.

“Stop telling everyone, shit they don’t need to know!” Yuskue said. As he killed the last low class demon, by knocking its head off; with Kekio’s bag. “Yusuke!” she glared at him. You’ll live Kekio. He said, as he walked up the stairs. He didn’t have much work left, because his mother. was passed out on the couch. He still put he bean on her; he didn’t need her wakening up. And embarrassing him; and pukeing all over his spirit beast. He packed his cloths, and belongings. As he then met, them outside.

“Took you long enough”, Botan complained. as she helped Kekio, back on to her orb. And they flew off to Keiko’s house, to get her belongings. Her parents owned a 3 story house, two story; if not counting there furnished basement. It was one of the biggest houses on the block. But there restraint; was so successful, that they could expand as much as needed. “This is going to be a pain in the ass, to find them.” He thought. To him self; this time Kekio and Botan, followed him inside. Botan began to pack Kekio’s things, as they searched for her parents. They had hid the self’s, in the basement; in a small corner. They snuck down carefully, as they heard her mother sobbing.

“Our Kekio is gone. And Yusuke; is no where to be found either” she cried. “Knowing Yuskue; he’s taking good care of our little girl. “Her father attempted to soothe, the crying woman.” This made both of them stop, gilt filled both of there eyes; Kekio. Began to run to them, and he stopped her. “It’s not the time, they’ll be safe; in demon world.” she was angry with him, and didn’t understand; but she trusted his judgment. He slipped behind them, apologizing silently. as he slipped the beans; on to there neck. He carried them out, as Botan meat them at the stairs. “Got your things, Kekio!” she smiled, as she handed her he bag. “Thank you Botan,” she said happily. As she then checked, to see everything quickly. “Botan get a hold of fox boy, see how they are doing” “okay! Hey why do I have to do it?” she asked. “I don’t know how, to work those damn things?’ He growled; at the fairy. “Everything I say to you goose, in one ear and out the other.” “Huh?” Yusukue looked back; at the girl and blinked. “Never mind,” she said angrily; turning on the compact. Making Kekio. get on it alone.


“Hi Botan!” yukina said cheerfully. And Botan answered, just as cheerfully. “We just got there parents, and are half way to the temple. Stay around Kurama’s house and well pick you up” She nodded “how are you guys doing?” Botan asked. “We can’t find Kurama’s friend. He keeps attempting to call her, but she’s not answering.” She said worried. “Oh, she said sadly.” “Well find her,” Kurama called to her. As Yukina; shut the compact. as they stopped. This was a white apartment. They had left his family there. Knowing they were safe; with the vines. He began, to run up the apartment stairs. The demons had done a number, on the apartment. Kurama figured; that they had got what they wanted from this town, wandered father in.

The twins followed him up the flights of stairs. It was noticeable, to Hiei. that his twin, was now being; to feel the affects of running. And was tempted, offer her assistance up the stairs. The fox ran; to the door and knocked. There wasn’t an answer. “Emilia! Open the door!” he called. As he noticed the door, was closed tightly. “It’s me !” there was a meep, ‘” she asked again. “Yes,” prove to me; its you. “We’ve been studying for your final, in trigonometry. And you always, get number 7 wrong” there as a moment of silence, before they heard a click. And the witnessed, a woman jumping up. And into his arms in a hug

“I was sure that they killed you, your mother kept calling asking if you were here I attempted to go out and look for you but those nasty creatures kept attempting catch me. “Well, the Area and it is safe. Pack as many things possible. I will takeing you to my house you’ll be safe.” She nodded, as she got into her house

“Why dose she call you Shuichi?” yukina asked as she looked at him. “My human mother gave me that name." she nodded, as they waited; for his friend to come back he reached over placing a green bead on her shoulder she began to fall as he picked her up caring her on his back yukina took her baggage as they walked back to

As they walked back to Kurama’s house, “once again Botan was on the compact. He sat the girl down. As he collected his things; and his family. He was too waited for Yusukue to arrive. “is it nice there” Yukina attempted to start a conversation. “I think it is a very nice place.” Kurama said adding to the conversation. “I live there,” Hiei said as he waited for the blue bird. “Oh, it will be so nice to see your home. Are you good friends with Mukuro?” she asked. “You could say that” Kurama teased. Hiei looked in the sky as he saw the bird. He had never been so relived in his life to see that thing.

“Yukina,” the carrot top; called to her. “Hi, Kazuma.” Yukina called. As the bird stopped in front of her. He placed his head next to yukina and she cuddled it. “He likes you,” Kekio noticed. “Yes since Genkai’s death I’ve tended to him. She giggled. Hiei and Kurama were quick to place the bodies on Puu. “Thank goodness you’ve been eating all your vitamins Puu!” she said happily. “You’re such a big boy!” Hiei couldn’t help but smile at his sister. It was hard to believe they were related.

“So Kurama,” Kuwabara said in a teasing tone. “I see you went to save Emi,” “she is a friend yes.” He said in defensive tone, as he still had Emi close to him. “You ready Puu?” Yusuke said. As he patted, the birds chest. “Well meet you there!” Kurama carried Emi on his back. They were already afraid of Puu’s ability to hold there families and she was his problem. He carried her on his back and prepared to be teased by his companions.

Hiei was surprised, at all the effort; that Kurama was putting in to this human woman. He was really out, to impress his human mother. He never thought. Something like that would be worth it. As he began to venture off into Makai he heard the boys already teasing him. He found this amusing so he slowed his pase to listen to what they had to say. And even find a few of them good enough to laugh.

Hiei sensed a strong force up a head. He paused, Kurama was the first, to notice and stopped. Yusuke followed, and Kuwabara nearly ran in to him; as he was to busy attempting, to find more things. to tease the fox on. “He what the...” he was stopped. When Yuskue, covered his mouth. He sensed the power, and nodded, preparing to attack.

“what happens, when Puu fly’s over?” Kurama said to Yusuke. “that is what they are planning; but didn’t expect us, to be on foot. We can catch them, by surprise.” he replied, Hiei dissapred, in to the distance. He scouted out the land. It seemed to be a small encampment, of demons. They were archers. The ex spirit dective was right.” He thought to himself but by the time he returned they were under attack. Kurama was at the most disadvantage. He had the human girl, pressed against his back, as he attempted to fight of five demons with his bare hands.


Hiei helped the fox, as he killed them with ease. But the commander of the demons, attempted to sneak behind him. By the time, he attempt to stab Hiei. Kurama, had channeled his yoki; in to the tree. Sending one of the roots up, killing the demon, and most of the demons; around the area. “ your welcome,” Kurama teased. Yusuke and Kuwabara, easily killed off. the rest of the invading demons, having the upper hand. Yusuke went to the fortress. using his spirit gun, to kill all the remains demons. they all, sighed in relive as Puu flew by. Moments later, “that was close!” Kuwabara said. as he took a deep breath, they all seemed relived. They arrived, a hour later then the girls.


there was a large living room, it had two couches and a table. There was a good sized kitchen; and there was a hall way. leading off to driftnet rooms, it seemed that most of the girls had chosen there rooms. Naturally Kekio and Yuskue shared a room. But to his dissepiments there were two twin beds. Yukina took a room, with Shizuru and the only room left, was a large room. It had one queen sized bed and a twin. “I guess were roomies” Kuwabara said setting is stuff on the floor “ I guess you want the large bed for you and emi” Kuwabara teased. Kurama gave him a dirty look. “Just kidding! How are we going to arrange this?” he asked. “For the time being, we will allow emi to sleep on the large bed. She should be wakening up, in a few hours.” He laid her down softly.

“but you said, that they won’t wake up until we pull those beans off” Kuwabara said. As he looked to the fox as he noticed he pulled the covers over the girl. “Yes, but this isn’t that bean this only put her to sleep for the way here.” “Oh, so you want her to know what is going on. Aren’t you worried what will happen? What If she thinks were all freaks?” “That’s a chance I’ll have to take” Kurama said. “I’m going to visit Mukuro to get emi new arrangements maybe yukina and Shizuru will share with her.” Kuwabara nodded seeing it best for her to be in a room of girls.

Kurama, walked into the hallway; as he saw Hiei. Waiting at the stairs, “The humans are in there proper placing.” Hiei said, as if he were reporting to Kurama. He smiled. “Thank you Hiei. Now, are all the rooms done?” Kurama asked. “Beats me,” the fire demon responded, as they walked up the stairs. “I wouldn’t want to be roomed with that baka either” Kurama had to laugh as they walked upstairs to Mukuro’s chambers.
