Hiei woke up to find Amaya still asleep, his arms still around her, his chest to her back. He smiled, breathing in the scent of warm female. He ran his hands down her body, silently looking for what Kaida had told him was there. It was small but strong, a tiny bright light that radiated from Amaya’s womb. He smiled to himself. His unborn child was nestled there, safe and warm within his female, his Amaya.

He was feeling very proud of himself as he turned his wife’s head to his, kissing the sleeping woman deeply, glad to know that, when she woke up, she would be better, that he would hear her laugh at him, to feel her wrath, her happiness, to feel her body want his.

Amaya smiled at her husband, knowing it was his turn to break down. “It’s alright now. It’s over. Don’t worry about it now. Just love me.”

He smiled, the last of his tears falling. He slowly moved within her, being torturously slow as he filled her, bringing her to the summit and falling in along with her.

The water demon turned around in bed too look at her husband. For the last hour or so they had laid there, silent and calm, both just enjoying the company of the other and the afterglow of their lovemaking.

Kuwbara was the first person to say something when Hiei and Amaya announced to their friends that they had not only been married for almost nine months now, but that Amaya was expecting a baby.

Koenma did not look too thrilled, Botan, Yusuke and Keiko all looked slightly shocked. Yukina stood to the side, looking absolutely ecstatic, while Kurama stood by Kaida and smirked.

The fox demon spoke, actually proud of his old friend. “Well well. Hiei Spawns. That isn’t going to make it any quieter around here is it?”
