For the first time in her life, she felt safe enough to fall into a deep sleep. Not wakening up, every 2 hours. In fear, she wasn’t any attempts. At over throwing her, she woke up as Hiei had broken his energy with her quite sometime ago, and was just lying beside her. Her baby blue eye looked up at the smirking fire demon. “Good morning,” he said in a cocky attitude. She wondered what he had accomplished, to make him use that tone. “She sat up, as he followed as well. He must have followed his gaze. to the sleeping fox at the table. “He’s been here all night; we talked for quite some time. And I guess it’s those human growing hormones, he keeps talking about. Because he fell asleep, around dawn.”

“What happened, how did he get here?” She asked. I remember, the fortress was under attack. And you came in to save me, and Katsurou attacked you. And I saved your life, Shouldn’t I be the one, healing you?” a quick look of anger and petty flashed on his face. “What is it Hiei?” When I was defending off the fort, they had just happened to arrive at the fort. They helped me kill of the demons. And Kuwabara, “Mukuro made a funny face that intruded his explanation.

“The human; which has been attempting to court Yukina.” She nodded, and opened her moth but had no time to ask a question, because he answered it. “There is a strong barrier that was put up, higher class demons, can leave human world. And Kuwabara can cut though barriers” Mukuro was interested in this and wanted to see his power. Hiei continued. He also has very high sprit awareness and was able to lead the others to your chambers by detecting energy. When I found you, you had dealt a grate blow to his stomach but he some how change it in your mind that it was me. You saw me injured and went to heal me. He was going to use your weakness as an attempt to kill you. I was able to nock you out of the way. I took most of the blast, you just took the force.

Her eyes widened, as she shook her head. I apparently hit my head against the wall with enough force to damage my jagan. Shigure gave me these useless drops that I can put in them until it fully heals. Anyways. Yusuke and Kurama decide they were going to attack him and went full force Kurama catching him with his rose whip and Yuskue using his spirit gun. You were easily able to cut him free and blocked the blast from Yuskue. This gave him enough time to. Escaped Kurama took me to my chambers and Kirin and Shigure took you to the pod room. They left you there for a few days. The blast was strong enough and at such a close range that it damaged your right side.

I was in the pod room why did I wake up in my bed?” she asked as she began to climb off the side of the bed. “After I woke up, I made my way down to the pods. I could heal you a lot faster then those stupid pod things could.” She saw the smirk appear on his lips that answered her previous question. Hiei snapped back at the now standing demon. “I was doing it for the fortress. That damn man could have came back and took out the leader. And I’m not prepared to take these responsibilities yet” she smirked. “That’s what I want to hear.” She said, as she began to walk around her room she realized that her pants were losing. She looked down to see her belt was missing also her vest was missing as well. “Did you attempt to dress me Hiei?” “I’d have preferred you naked, but I know the fox to well. He’s always following me around and I don’t want him to see what is mine.” She rolled her eyes as she completed her attire with her belt and vest. “How long did the attack occur Hiei?” “I’d say almost a week ago. “

“What?” she said. Loud enough, to wake the sleeping fox. She ignored his quite grunts, as he attempted to fall back asleep. “He must feel safe here,” Hiei though. Being taken away from his thoughts.” were there any messages from Enki or Yomi. And where is the son of risen and his human companion. Mukuro kept asking question as Hiei attempted to answer them as fast as possible. Her pride had been injured because of her absents as she prepared to open the door. Koenma was standing there. “I’m glad to see you are good and well” man said as he looked to the woman who gave him a dirty look “oh yeah and he’s here to” Hiei added as she looked at him. “What do you want?”

“What I nice greeting;” Koenma though to himself. as he looked at the former demon king. “I’m here on the behalf of human world and Renkai” he noticed that she didn’t looked to thrilled” “and also we need to have a word about your master Chikou” he knew he had written his will and was a little nervous to walk in to the love nest of the former demon lord. Who was known for her destruction and Hiei who still held a grudge on him from when he was punished from stealing the artifacts from sprit world. He walked in to a very large plane room. In the Corner he noticed Kurama sound asleep in one of the chairs. He found this odd. But reassuring, that if he was attempted to be injured the fox may save him.

There was a small table across the room; he was quite a way from the door. And sat by a window as the morning sun shined light from it. Sat down across from Mukuro as Hiei was standing next to her against the wall. “Let’s get down to business.” He said as he crossed his hands laying them on the table.”

Mukuro hadn’t waited for him to speak again. She allowed him in to her chambers as she walked in she walked beside Hiei “thanks for not telling me sooner” she growled at the demon as she took her place across the table sitting close to Hiei. Who was propped against the wall. “Yes we should, what are your conditions of coming here I know a man of high power, dose not come down unless it is business that his employs can not know about” Mukuro said as she folded her hands on the table.”

“About two years ago, there was a horrible massacre in chuiko’s land. Every one was killed even the guards. The slave master him self, had disappeared and had never been seen. This is a mystery; no one could find traces of the killer. it even killed the slaves in cellar. Both Mukuro and Hiei gave him strange looks. “I know demon world politics have nothing to do with me. But half of the villagers there and slaves were humans. And humans are my deal. “He looked to Hiei “So you came all this way to demon world to yell at me?” Hiei said in his usual tone. “No, actually I have orders to have you taken to spirit world and have you tried in front of my father witch will probably mean death.” Mukuro’s eyes widened as she looked at Koenma and stood up, as if she were shielding Hiei from the weaker person. “Koenma stood up as he felt threatened knowing they would react like this.

“Now, do you think this is a wise Idea?” Kurama stepped to placed him self between the two. “Kurama” Koenma sighed “I wouldn’t be so relived” he looked at the man. He suddenly got the feeling he wasn’t on his side. “If theses humans meant so much to your father when didn’t he collect them sooner? “ As you know,” He looked to Mukuro “Slave trade is big in the market. And it hard to locate one person.” The three of them didn’t believe him for anything. “Is there anything we can do to make up for the accident” The fox continued.

Mukuro and Hiei were dumbfounded at how fast the fox was actually planning on staying with them. “He’s one sneaky son of a bitch” Mukuro whispered to Hiei she noticed that Kurama heard as he smirked to them. “I do believe that Katsurou is moving in and has taken a good part of human world hostage. And the real reason you didn’t send Botan to come get Hiei was because you using her as a commutate between the three worlds. And from what I got out of Botan. You are barley keeping the demons out of Genkai’s temple you have Shizuru,Kekio,Yukina there with a sprit shield.”

He looked to the former demon as he spoke his last sentence. “What if, we use a wing of Mukuro’s fortress as a safe zone for our families and each other. As repayment for the crime Hiei committed two years ago. Mukuro’s eyes had widened as she listened to his speech. Her fortress was rather large. At the time of its creation there had been thousands of solders there and most of the wings had been shut down. “What ever you find wisest fox.”

Kurama smiled as he looked, he was pleased with himself. The plan had been going smoothly. He had known Koenma was there to prosecute the fire demon. And since they shared the same room he noticed at night Koenma would be gone. He followed the toddler meet up with Botan. He had gotten information but it was still best to find out more. So after Koenma left he called Botan over. The woman had a hard time keeping a secret so it was easy for her to tell him what was gonging on. He had a safe place for his family and friends to stay. “Thank you for your cooperation.” Kurama said as he watched the spirit lord walk out of the room. He turned to the surprised couple.

“Thanks for asking my permission fox” Mukuro said as she walked sitting back down. She did not look too pleased. “I never would have imaged that I would be keeping humans in my fortress.” “It is only for a short time.” Kurama felt the bit of anger in her voice. She looked back to Hiei. Who was now walking forward to the fox demon “always after what he wants.” He said as he stood by the fox. “Hiei, send some of the maids to prepare wing 103 it hasn’t been in use for some time.” She then looked at the fox. “You may use my pod room. She had red the foxes mind. “You do not want your human family to know your secret. I respect that. But keep that future mate of yours awake.” Both of the men’s eyes widened. “If she is to be your mate. There shouldn’t be and secrets. And I would love to meet her and Hiei feels the same.” Kurama nodded, “A small price to pay.” He said as he followed Hiei out of Mukuro’s chambers.

A few moment’s after the men had left she sighed. What a mess she had gotten herself into, now there were humans that were going to be in her fortress. She’d never get the stench out and also she didn’t know how well she could control her craving. The though of humans in her fortress just angered her. She called in one of her servants and had it get her something to eat as she walked to her closet and open it. She pulled out her journals from her days as king. She sat at the table as she began to read though them. Eating her food and sipping her tea.

Kurama and Hiei walked back to the rooms far down the hall. He stopped by the office ordering the wing 103 being open and to be cleaned and prepared for guests. Then nodded as they ran off getting everything ready. “It must be nice to have power” Kurama asked as he looked towards the room Kuwabara and Yuskue were staying in. they knocked as they heard “Come in” Said from the carrot top. Kuwabara had been reading a comic book and drinking a pop as Yuskue was still sound asleep “god it’s like 10 in the morning and he’ still asleep” he said as he offered Kurama and Hiei a pop the both declined. Well wake him up. We don’t have all day,” Hiei growled as he didn’t have time for this foolishness. He walked towards the bed and grabbed Kuwabara pillow and smacked the sleeping half demon in the face with it. The half demon didn’t wake. So he did it harder.

Yusuke had been having a grate dream. It had been where he and Kekio were alone in his room. There parents were gone and they were watching TV Kekio admitted her true feelings for him and he did the same. She kissed him and he had returned the display and then she allowed him to pull her into him as she began rubbing against him. The were getting very physical as he had managed to slip the shirt over her head. And she allowed him to do as he pleased to her. After taking a few moments fighting her bra she giggled as she slipped it off for him. He kissed and kissed her breast as her hand slid down her chest and began to rub his member. She leaned forward and whispered into his ear “Take me Yusuke I’m yours. He began to take her when something was smacked against his face. Not wanting to wake up, he attempted to roll over but his third leg was stopping him.

He was then again hit hard in the face by a soft object now getting in to reality he heard the annoying laugh of Kuwabara and light chuckling of Kurama as he heard the growls of discuss from Hiei. He opened is eyes. The person who was assaulting him was no other than Hiei he looked a away as Yuskue blinked not noticing his morning wood was standing proudly. Making a large tent in his sweat pants. “Get dressed, were leaving”

Hiei walked back, as he stood beside Kurama who was attempting not to laugh. “Mateing season is getting to Yuskue as well” “Shut up fox” was the only thing said as the allowed the young teens to prepare to leave. Kurama walked into his room and prepared him self. Hiei’s room wasn’t’ to far away he walked into the room as he took a katana and they met in the hall way connecting there rooms.

“Where are we going,” Kuwabara asked. “Back to human world,” Kurama said as they began to walk towards the door. Kuwabara was begin to feel uncountable it was like any demons they passed by, they would ether looked degusted or licked there lips. “Yuskue stopped walking.” Waite a minute. He said as she looked the fox “Where is Koenma?”

“Crawling back to spirit world where he belongs.” Hiei growled as they walked out of the fortress. He gave the humans, a few moments to stretch before they ran back to human world. “Could you be a little less hostel Hiei?” Yusuke teased. “Yusuke please be careful what you say. This is going to stress all of us out and we all need to let our grudges against each other go for the time being. Koenma had failed to tell us that human world has been under attack sense we have been gone. And we must gather our families. They will be staying in Mukuro’s fortress until the issue is settled.

“I don’t want my family here!” Kuwabara screamed. “Then we’ll let them die,” Hiei glared at the loud carrot top. “No worries, Kurama smiled as he handed Kuwabara three seeds. Put theses on your members that you’d like to take to Mukuro’s fortress. This will put them to sleep. They won’t know what is going on until it is over. “I’m not going to do that to my mom and dad! He yelled. “Then Hiei is right they’ll die. “Fine what ever you think is best. “He growled as Kurama handed two to give to Yuskue. “

Why to I only have my mom.” “Well” the fox blushed. “If Kekio doesn’t go willing then you can use this to make her come.” Yuskue nodded as he slipped them in his pockets by the time they were done speaking Hiei had began to run with out the rest of the group. Kurama wasn’t too far behind. Yuskue was in third and Kuwabara cold barley keep up. “I’ve got a bad feeling about this;” Kuwabara thought, to himself.
