Scene 17 ------------------------------------------- The Next Morning

* Hiei lays awake on the bed, half covering Ryuji, waiting for the fire demon to wake up. They'd went at it heavily through most of the night until Hiei was finally sated enough to allow his half brother to go to sleep. Hiei had remained awake, though, quietly contemplating everything that has been taking place. When Ryuji finally begins to stir beneath him it brings Hiei away from his thoughts. Quietly he rolls off of the fire demon to lay staring at the dirty cieling. Staring at it soon takes him away on memories of when he was trapped in Kichiro's brothel. Of the many times he'd laid beneath lust-driven demons, staring at the dirty cieling in his small room. As Ryuji becomes more aware of his surroundings his inner jagan reaches out to read Hiei's thoughts. Hiei feels the 'intrusion' but gives it little mind, knowing that he can trust his half brother. Soon Ryuji raises up onto an elbow to look down at his smaller, older sibling. Hiei pays him no mind. When Ryuji lays a hand on Hiei's chest gently the koorime jolts, then refocuses his red eyes on the matching ones above him. The ebony-spiked demon looks down at him sadly.


Ryuji- (Quietly) I did try my best to find you, Ani.

Hiei- You wouldn't have!


* Ryuji stops Hiei from sitting up away from him angrily.


Ryuji- Is it the memories.. or do you regret what we did..?

Hiei- It was necessary.. Now release me!


* Hiei swats Ryuji's hand away and sits up.


Hiei- I used you as I always did before.


* Ryuji watches Hiei shake his own spikes back into order.


Hiei- It's what I do best, after all.

Ryuji- Hiei,..

Hiei- I've always used others.. I never cared who I hurt.. or killed..


* Ryuji sits up to place his head on one of Hiei's shoulders.


Ryuji- (Quietly) You still regret doing that..

Hiei- Doing what?

Ryuji- Killing Father.


* Hiei shakes his head, then realizes he can't truly hide himself from Ryuji's jagan.


Hiei- It was my right.. The b------ explained it to me himself.. Remember?

Ryuji- Yes, I do, Ani.. I was there.. I could have withstood you.. Remember?


* After a moment, Hiei turns his head to look at Ryuji. He allows his brother to raise a hand and caress his cheek as he captures his lips a moment before pulling back.


Hiei- Hn.. Perhaps you should have.

Ryuji- You know why I didn't.


* The next thing Hiei knows he is on his back again. He lifts his hands reflexively to press the fire demon back.


Hiei- Ryu,..

Ryuji- Do you remember that day, Ani? When I told you what you had to do to make.. restitution to me?


* Hiei slowly lowers his hands to lay on the bed beside his head. His angry snarl counters the show of surrender.


Hiei- Yes, you deceitful b------!


* Ryuji chuckles.


Ryuji- Yeah.. That was our first time together.. I cherish the memory, myself.

Hiei- I learned the truth later..

Ryuji- But you coming back.


* Hiei stares up at his brother a long moment before finally relaxing.


Hiei- Hn.. I realized the necessity of our.. arrangement.


* Ryuji slowly dips his head down to brush Hiei's lips a couple times before Hiei closes his eyes and parts them to allow him to deepen the kiss. He soon feels Hiei raise his hands again. This time the koorime grasps his muscular biceps to draw him more fully onto him. The deep kissing continues until Ryuji hears Hiei keen with a tinge of sadness. Since he's mostly immune to the now-barely noticable heat scent, Ryuji pulls back to look down at Hiei easily. He watches the smaller demon squint his eyes even tighter and swallow.


Ryuji- Hey, now..

Hiei- D-don't, Oto.. pl-please.. You're driving me.. crazy.. B-but I.. can't..


* The younger demon sighs and rolls away from Hiei to sit up on the edge of the bed. With his own jagan partially open, Hiei feels Ryuji's hidden frustration.


Ryuji- I told you I'd never force you.. I didn't lie to you about that.. And I never have.


* Ryuji looks up to watch Hiei move around him to get into a knelt position between his knees.


Hiei- I know that, Ryu.. I won't go back on my word, either.. I know you need your release.

Ryuji- I'll get it when we get back to..


* Hiei cuts Ryuji off abruptly when he leans and begins to probe a path down Ryuji's chest, working lower with each lap of his tongue.


Ryuji- Hiei, you don't have to.. Uhh..


* Hiei stops teasing and bends to begin oralling Ryuji's hard shaft. The initial sensation rocks the fire demon backward onto his elbows, his jips jutting off of the bed.


Ryuji- Ohh.. s---!


* Old 'training' returns to Hiei and he continues, keeping Ryuji unable to protest any further. At least not until Ryuji is finally well spent. He uses a foot to shove Hiei off of him to break Hiei's concentration.


Ryuji- Why the.. h---.. did you do that?!


* When Hiei doesn't answer Ryuji gathers himself and sits up. When he finds Hiei now curled up on the floor in a tight ball Ryuji uses his jagan for only a moment before blurring down to him. He grabs Hiei up in an embrace.


Ryuji- Snap out of this, Ani.. Not now.. I didn't mean to be so harsh.. You just surprised me.. Come on, Hiei!


* Ryuji taps Hiei's cheeks. It takes a few firm taps, but Hiei finally blinks and looks up at Ryuji.


Hiei- Ryu,..

Ryuji- You zoned out a little.. It's okay, Ani.


* Hiei sits up away from Ryuji and raises his hands to rub his temples.


Ryuji- You haven't told anyone about these spells, yet, have you?

Hiei- No! It's nobody's business, d--- it! Just stop pawing at me now!


* Ryuji sighs and watches Hiei stand to gather up his clothes.


Hiei- We need to go get Yukina and Imiko.


* Ryuji sighs, gets dressed himself, then follows Hiei out of the room.
