"Look, brother, a feast."

"Yes, brother. They have slumbered upon the enterance to our lair. An offering?"

"An offering."

Two tall willowy green beings stepped out of the shadows and into the circle of firelight. They were silent and graceful as the decended upon the bigger of the beings, the one sitting up. They bent in unison, the quiet of death in their movements, reaching for the neck of the larger one. As they hovered with their arms but an inch from it's throat, eyes snapped open and blades were pressed against their arms. They froze.

"It wakes, brother."

"Yes, brother. Why is the offering not docile?"

"Back the fuck up off me." The large one stayed completely still, the blades still against their frozen arms. Their eyes met for a moment.

"It has no spirit, brother. It cannot harm us. Why does it fight?"

"The small people would not send us a violent offering. Has it intruded?"

"It has, brother, we must rid our lair of its presense."

The large one eyed them silently as they spoke. Evil knhe mhe meaning of their words. They sensed no threat from him, for he had none of the demonic powers Hiei had spoken of. But he had an idea.

"Hey, you guys, you should be careful."

Yellow eyes lowered to regaurd him in confusion.

"It speaks to us, brother?"

"It does, brother."

"What does it say?"

"You see that girl over there? There are females among your time, yes?"

"What is it's point, brother?"

"We do not know, brother."

"It's that time for her, guys. You know. That time. I wouldn't disturb her rest if I were you. She's tired and hungry. You ever seen a female that was tired and hungry during -that- time?"

"Could it mean what we think, brother?"

"It could, brother. Let us look."

The beings silently glided towards Hiei, bending towards her in what looked almost like a 90 degree angle. Evil hoped he was right. She'd been awfully bitchy recently. He heard them both draw in long breaths of their scent, then stay in that position stiffly.

"Is it true, brother?"

"This one bears child, brother. She is hungry."

"What does it mean, brother? What will they say?"

"They would be most displeased if we did not assist this one, brother."

"We are right, brother. We must assist this one."

Evil stared at them open mouthed. Bears child, did they say? He looked at Hiei. Hungry.... tired... emotional.... It fit. There was no way she knew. Should he tell her?

The beings were gliding towards him.

"You will leave us, large one."

"Yes, large one, you will leave us."

"Not a problem, guys." Evil agreed, standing slowly.

"Take the fruit, large one."

"Yes, large one, take the fruit."

A skin bag full of strange red globes of fruit simply... materialized... between the two green beings.

"They are with child. They eat he fhe fruit. They will be pleased that we helped the small one that is like them, brother."

"Yes, brother, they will be most pleased. They will select us as theirs, brother."

"They will reward us with their child, brother."

"Yes, brother..."

The green beings slowly sank into the ground between Evil and Hiei as they spoke, leaving the fruit behind. Evil sat back on his heels, staring in disbelief. That.... was the weirdest fucking thing he'd ever seen.

He soon realized he'd promised them he'd leave their lair's entrance, and decided it would be a very good idea to do such quickly. He bent to pick up the fruit and slung it over the shoulder before stomping out the fire and going to wake Hiei.

He shook her gently, waiting until her eyes opened.

"Hn?"

"It's time to move again, Hiei."

Hiei sat up, rubbing her eyes. She'd had the strangest dream. She let Evil pull her to the feet and looked to see which direction they should head in. Her eyes lit up when she realized how close they were to the portal and she smild at Evil. She smiled even more when he produced a peice of bloodberry fruit for each of them.

"Where did you find these?" she asked as she walked, biting into the fruit hungrily.

"Oh, there was a bush near here that I thought looked promising," he said nonchalantly. Hiei nodded and continued walking, failing to remember that these particular fruits grew in strange holes underground. Evil helped her walk foreward, looking carefully at her as if by doing so he could discern the truth of the matter. She'd only made it a few steps before she clapped a hand to her mouth and turned to sick up all over the forest floor. When she was done, Evil wiped her face with his shirt and handed her another peice of fruit since she'd lost the first.

"Do you do that often?" he asked as they continued on, him supporting her more than ever now.

"Every morning for two weeks, now. Is this some kind of human maladity?" she asked, leaning against him.

He decided not to tell her.

-----------------------------------------------------

There were very few things that bothered Kurama in this world.

Being helpless bothered him a little, yes, but he liked being tied up sometimes in the bedroom. It wasn't really that that bothered him.

Being battered and bruised was just one of those things one had to get used to when one was a Spirit Detective.

Being raped was a little upsetting, to say the least; however, he had faced much worse in his youko form, and was no stranger to the dangers of taking on missions.

Being completely covered in nasty sticky cum, with no clue as to what cum on him was his own betraying seed, Chthulu's, or Bojintu's?

Now that fucking bothered him. He couldn't stand being a mess. He couldn't stand being sticky. The worst part was that there was nothing he could do about it. He was helpless as long as these demons held him in the air like this. The stony cave floor allowed him no chance to retaliate with his own ki. He couldn't reach the seeds in his hair. All he could do was try and think about something else.

He'd had a lot of time to think recently.

He'd started off with thoughts of how angry he was at this whole situation. What he would do if he got free in revenge. How pissed off the constant pain in his ass made him. He'd let Bojintu catch him AGAIN, and that was the part that pissed him off the most. But then he remembered that this had been his decision, his choice. He'd known better than to walk in with no back up, but he'd done it anyways.

Then he started to think about Hiei.

He'd had a crush on the little fire demon the first time he'd met him. He'd said nothing, of course, but he'd put all of his effort into getting the somber demon to open up to him. He'd made sure he wawaysways there for the demon, always available when help was needed. Whenever Hiei was injured, he knew he could come to Kurama for help. When something was bothering the demon, Kurama always let him know that he was there when he wanted to talk. But Hiei never wanted to talk. Hiei wanted nothing to do with anyone. Hiei was a lost fucking cause. When Kurama finally realized this he gave up, he decided to move to America to finish his education. He'd found other people to sate his lust with, he'd found other people to occupy his mind. He never found anyone he could open up to like he always did with Hiei. He found no one who could please his eye as unquenchably as the dark little demon. He didn't look back, though. He'd given up, he'd let go.

Until the day Koenma called him in for help. Once again he was needed, and once again he was needed for his strange calming influence on Hiei. Koenma knew he'd never get close enough to Hiei to put the necklace on him. Kurama had helped, but had told himself as he watched the change that he felt nothing for him. Nothing. He'd been lying to himself. Then Hiei had appeared at his door. He'd, for the first time ever, needed Kurama. And he'd admitted it. He'd opened up to him, finally. They'd talked and talked. And Kurama had still not seen it coming. He'd still not noticed what his own heart was doing to him. Until the night he acted on it. Until too late.

Hiei had run away, betrayed by the only person she thought she could trust. He'd taken advantage of her while she was held helpless by a drug she'd never experienced. He was just as bad as Andy. He'd taken the one thing he held more precious than anything.... and he'd ruined it.
With that realization he fled from the inner thoughts he'd taken refuge in. He gave in to the will of Chthulu and Bojintu. He hid from his thoughts in the growing exhaustion and pain. He thought of nothing else but the feeling. He stared into space as he began to cum more and more and simply gave in.

Nothing mattered anymore.

-------------------------------------------------

Hiei had brightened considerably.

She marched onwards, independant of Evil's help now that she had food in her belly. When she realized how close they were to the portal, she'd started to smile. Evil watched her, giving her strange looks that she couldn't explain whenever she looked back at him. She was fairly certain they'd just stayed the night in the middle of the territory of some very very wicked demons, and remained unscathedhis his pleased her greatly. The nearby village sent sacrifices regularly to the area they'd camped in just to keep them away, and they were just fine. Maybe her ki was stronger in this form than she'd given credit! One thing pleased her more than all the rest, though.

"Just wait. You'll see what happens when I have my true form back! Kurama is always the gracious one, always the caring one, always the better one than me. But this time it'll be me that everyone is in awe of! I'll put aside my grudge, my -rightful- grudge, and save him! He will be so awed by how kind and gracious I am to him that he'll just beg me to..." she stopped, looking at Evil for a moment as she rethought her words. "...be his friend again! Just wait!"

She smiled a smile she'd never smiled before as she reached a stone wall. She didn't stop to wonder why she was smiling, an expression so foriegn to her. She was just in a good mood as she pushed her hand experimentally into the wall, watching it dissapear. She nodded to Evil.

"Now remember, this guy is the son of one of the strongest gods around. So be careful. Don't piss him off unless you think you can handle him. And he's alot older than he looks. Now give me my katana. Oh, yeah, and I'm currently on his shitlist!" she flashed another bright smile at him, accepting her sword before stepping through the portal.

Evil shook his head, wondering what he was going to do when she pissed off the son of a god. He didn't think it'd be as easy as getting away from those little winged demons. He stepped through the stone wall...

...and into the biggest palace he'd ever seen. He stared around as demons of every sort rushed in every direction, most of them carrying stacks of papers taller than they were. There were demons of every color, shape, and size, some with horns, some with wings, many with tails. He wished he had a camera. Nobody would ever believe this crap.

Hiei waited impatiently for him to follow before leading him up the central staircase. Soon they had gone through so many hallways, around so many corners, through so many doors, and up so many steps that he was certain he'd never in his life be able to get out. When they finally reached the gigantic double-doors he was bent over double, panting. Hiei looked at the doors for a moment, then looked back at him.

"Open them," she demanded, looking away quickly. Evil huffed greatly and stood up, looking at her.

"Why me?" he asked incredulously, thinking it was time to lay down. Hiei's ears started to turn red.

"Because last time I tried with these weak arms I made a fool of myself. Now do it!"

Evil nodded and pushed the doors as hard as he could. He could understand why her little arms wouldn't be very effective, they were a struggle for him. He huffed as he shoved them open, letting Hiei pass and walk ahead of him into the huge room. Evil looked around curiously as the doors slammed behind him. A large desk was at the center of the room. Or at least he thought it was a desk. It was completely covered in towers of papers. Across from the desk was an array of several monitors, all currently off. Behind the desk was an extensive window that offered a view of the sprawling palace. Evil strained to see around the papers to get a glimpse of the owner of the room.

"Why are you here early, Hiei? Your sentence isn't up for another week. And why did you bring a human here?" A voice floated from behind the papers. Hiei growled and tapped her foot.

"Where's Kurama?" she snapped.

"He's on a mission. He'll be back any day now, I'm sure."

"Fucker." Hiei growled, striding over to the desk and carelessly swiping all of the papers off, sending them everywhere. "He would have been back by now if he was fine. You sent him alone against Bojintu!"

Evil stared at the figure behind the desk. He was certain his eyes were playing tricks on him. The son of this great god he'd never heard of, the one he was supposed to be so careful about was...

"A TODDLER?!" he burst out. Koenma and Hiei both snapped their gazes to him, causing him to clear his throat and look at the ground in embarrasment.

"I'll have you know it was his choice to go alone! He wouldn't hear of having back up." Koenma said nervously. Hiei growled and grabbed him by the shirt, pulling him up to face her.

"I know you've been watching him. You always watch everyone. What's happened to him?"

Koenma laughed nervously.

"There's nothing wrong, Hiei. Please put me down."

"Goddamnit. Change me back, Koenma! I'll go get him myself," she demanded, unsheathing her katana and holding it to the toddler's throat. Koenma sighed.

"I can't, Hiei."

"Yes, you can. Now do it!" She pressed the katana against his throat.

"No, I can't. Please take that off of my neck."

"Why the fuck NOT?" she demanded, pressing it more firmly so that a tiny trickle of blood escaped.

Koenma looked everywhere but at the pissed off woman, until he finally caught Evil's gaze.

"You know, don't you?" Evil asked quietly, holding Koenma's eyes. Koenma nodded slowly.

Hiei looked back and forth between them in confusion.

"Evil, I told you to keep quiet," she said, looking back to Koenma. After a moment she looked back at Evil. "What does he know?" She then looked back to Koenma. "What do you know?"

Koenma looked nervously at the blade against his neck.

"Hiei, you're..." he started, then stopped again, looking up at the ceiling. Evil shook his head. He would have expected the godling to have bigger balls and be a little less of a pussy.

"You're pregnant, Hiei," he finally finished for the toddler, watching Hiei.

Hiei frowned in confusion.

"That's not possible, I'm a..." she paused, her eyes glancing down to see her breasts. "It's Kurama's?" she finally asked Koenma. He nodded slightly, trying to avoid moving the blade.

"Fuck."

She pressed the blade back to his neck, a tear sliding down her cheek. Koenma blinked. Maybe the sentence had done the trick?

"Change me back, Koenma."

"Hiei, if I change you back, you lose the baby!"

Another tear slid down her cheek, her teeth grinding audibly.

"There is no baby without Kurama. Change me back."

Koenma nodded and sighed with relief as she dropped him onto his desk.

"Are you sure? Because once you've changed, it's too late for the baby."

Hiei bowed her head and wiped her tears, then looked back up and nodded, taking her cloak off to reveal a necklace shaped tattoo above her tank top. Koenma stood on his desk and pressed three of his fingers to the three largest jewels. He closed his eyes and pushed some of his ki into the tattoo before stepping back again. Hiei took a step back and began to change. Her features lost their soft cast, her hips and chest flattened out, her hair shortened into a brush of spikes... a third eye appeared on her forehead.

Hiei stared at Koenma, her eyes narrowing.

"That was it? I could have done that myself all along?"

Koenma laughed nervously, backing up on the desk.

"I'm going to kill you, you little fucker."

He grabbed his katana and leapt onto the desk, his sword arching in the air. Koenma grabbed the remote and turned on the TVs, rolling off of the desk and into his chair to avoid the blow.

"Look, Hiei! He's dying! They've almost finished the job! GO SAVE HIM, DAMNIT!"

Hiei paused, lowering his blade to stare at the screens. All of them were on Kurama at different angles. The redhead was pale and dirty, hanging in the air from a mass of tentacles. Hiei recognized those tentacles. Bojintu stood in front, his large member out, pressing ito tto the redhead's mouth. Kurama was being voilated in every possible area. Hiei's lips twitched. His eyes twitched. He remembered what it was like to be violated everywhere at once. Kurama didn't make a sound as the tentacle wrapped around his cock succeeded in causing him to cum all over himself. Hiei twitched again, a growl deep in his throat.

Evil stared at the black blur in front of him, his eyes snapping to the window as it shattered into uncountable shards. Hiei was gone, the window shattered from his passage through it. The TV screens were all busted in. He looked up at Koenma, who was staring sadly at the TVs.

"I've lost more TVs to Hiei that way. I wish he would learn how they worked, maybe turn them off instead of destroying them?"

Evil blinked at the statement, then looked to the ground in front of him as two obsidian gems rolled off of the desk and hit the ground. He looked out the ruined window again.

Nothing to do but wait.
