Scene 13 ------------ The Next Day
* Ooshama is in the diningroom of his fortress eating the large meal that was just served to him. He looks up from his meal when Hitaru stumbles in. He watches the Coyote lean his hands on his knees as he catches his breath.
Ooshama- What the h---‘s your problem?
Hitaru- I just.. came from that new alpha’s.. territory.
Ooshama- Just you? Where’s those other two idiots?
* Hitaru catches his breath then straightens up.
Hitaru- He’s just a very lucky A-Class amateur.. He killed As and Yushi..
* Ooshama stops eating to snarl at Hitaru angrily.
Ooshama- What?!
Hitaru- They were attempting to pledge their loyalty to him, but he.. killed them.
* Ooshama grunts.
Ooshama- So he’s smart. How big is he?
Hitaru- He’s shorter than me, sir.
Ooshama- And he let you escape?
Hitaru- He couldn’t run fast enough to catch me.
* Ooshama quirks an eyebrow. Hitaru looks toward the large crackling fireplace where a deer is being roasted for the next meal. Ooshama just watches when Hitaru takes off and leaps into the large firepit. The reptilian demon merely shakes his head with a grunt as the Coyote yowls in pain. When the horrifying sounds end the two servants, that are tending the roasting deer, look at Ooshama.
Ooshama- What? It saves me the trouble of killing the coward myself.
Servant One- Is the deer ruined, Master?
Ooshama- Nah. It’s just flavored better now.
* Ooshama finishes his eating, rinses down his lunch with a flagon of ale, then stands and leaves. The two servants look at each other and shudder before resuming the deer’s preparation.
