Scene 13
Scene 13 ----------- Kurama's Cage
* Shishi continues staying close to Kurama. Touya and Suzuka speak quietly with each other on the other side of the cage.
Touya(Quietly)- So how do you know about a place like this, Suze?
Suzuka(Quietly)- I've seen a couple similar in other areas.. But not as big as this one.
* He slaps a hand away that was reaching through the bars to grab his shoulder.
Touya(Quietly)- So.. What do you think they've done with Yusuke?
* Suzuka lowers his eyes with a growl when the demon in the next cage makes another attempt.
Suzuka- I bite! Really hard!
* When the demon chuckles Suzuka and Touya replace themselves more toward the center of their cage.
Suzuka- Well,.. unless they have a completely different policy.. These facilities usually only house a few dominant.. studs.. Hopefully they just have Yusuke in another section.
* Suzuka glances nervously toward Kurama.
Touya(Quietly)- Would they sell him?
* For the first time since he's woke up Kurama raises his blank eyes toward their voices.
Kurama- I'm blind, but my ears atill work.
* Kurama gets to his feet with a little help from Shishi. He then pushes the blue-haired demon away firmly, but with no intention to harm him. Kurama makes his way toward them until he is stopped by Suzuka.
Suzuka- We're right here, Love.
* Touya and Suzuka glance toward the front of the large room when a pair of blue-robed demons enter chatting with each other. They move to the main desk to sign something.
Touya(Quietly)- Kurama, I found.. what you were looking for in Yusuke's clothes.. Do you remember?
* Kurama thinks only a moment, then remembers. He reaches out and pulls Touya closer to him.
Kurama- Quickly.. Give it to me.
Touya- We need to use it..
Kurama- There's two of them coming to give you.. proper robes.
* Suzuka looks and notices the two staff demons coming down their aisle with white robes draped over their arms.
Kurama- I'm already dressed, give it to me.
* Touya calmly takes the watch-like communicator out of his pocket. The blue-robed pair just reach their door as Touya places the watch in Kurama's hand. One of them switches on the stun rod he's carrying.
Blue-Robed Demon #1- You, redhead. Move back or we'll stun you.
Suzuka- You'd better listen, Kurama.. That is one huge rod they got.
* Kurama half smirks at Suzuka.
Suzuka- I'm not joking, Darling.. They've used it on me, already.
* Kurama nods and moves back toward Shishi. The cage door is opened slightly and the clothes are tossed in.
Blue-Robed Demon #2- Those are your new clothes.. Be changed into them by the time we come back or we'll strip you ourselves.
* The two demons then leave to continue their other duties. Suzuka moves to pick up one of the skimpy new robes. Similar to what Kurama is now wearing only more revealing. He scowls and hands it to Touya.
Suzuka- Touy, this would look great on you.
Touya- Oh h--- no.
* Shishi comes over to take the robe. Suzuka rolls his eyes.
Kurama- Shut up and listen to me. We don't have time for games.
* When they all move over closer to him again Kurama sighs.
Kurama- Look around.. Do you see any cameras?
* The three demons look in all directions carefully scanning the outer walls of the large room.
Shishi- No.
Touya- I don't see any.
Suzuka- Nope.
Kurama- Are the workers gone?
Touya- They just went through those other double doors they brought you out of before.
Shishi- There's no others that I can see.
* Kurama nods.
Kurama- Still, shield me while I see if this thing will work down here.
* His three mates shift around until they have him pretty well surrounded. Kurama taps the watch and hears the static when it blinks on. Then he gives a sigh of relief when he hears the familiar, though garbled, shrill voice.
Koenma- Kurama? Where the h--- are you guys?! We've been scanning..!
Kurama- Can you get a fix on my location?
Koenma- Barely. What's going on?
Kurama- We can answer questions later, we're in a bit of a hurry here, Sir.. See if you can open a portal near me.
* After a couple moments of tense silence a swirling patch of distortion turns into a portal. Outside the cage door. Shishi scowls.
Shishi- How about three feet closer, moron?
Koenma- It's not too stable.. Who said that?!
Kurama- We are inside a cage, Sir.. Please move the portal closer to me.
Koenma- A cage?! Alright, hold on.. I'll see if we can boost the power, too.
Touya- Hurry if you don't mind!
* The portal blinks out. A moment later the main door at the front of the room swings open and Kuchki enters. Shishi moves calmly to shield Kurama better and begins to change into the new outfit. Kuchki watches the 'show' a moment then grunts and turns to leave again. The portal reappears right next to Shishi. Touya and Suzuka quickly shove the other two through it. By the time Kuchki turns to give the room a last look the four demons are gone. Kuchki stands stunned a moment, then hurries to their cage.
Kuchki- What the..?!
* The demon in the next cage looks up at him.
Demon- Big hole swallowed them.
* Kuchki blinks at the young male, then curses and leaves quickly.
