Scene 13 ------------- The Next Day
* After performing a thorough inspection of the fortress Hiei enters the control room. Mukuro is standing close to the fore windows, but slightly to one side.
Mukuro- Maneuver around those two okunenju stalks just ahead, Jinje.
Jinje- Yes, Sir.
* Mukuro glances toward Hiei as he moves up to lean on the navigation console beside the young demon. Jinje looks up at the Koorime nervously.
Mukuro- Mind what you're doing, Jinje!
* Jinje snaps his eyes back to the wide windows. He makes a close sweep around the right side of the first stalk that makes the vehicle lurch as it compensates. Hiei shakes his head and moves up to the opposite side of the large windows. He scans the area they're in.
Hiei- We're near Urameshi's Territory?
Jinje- Hai, Sir.
Mukuro- Don't distract him.
* Hiei does a quick estimation of how long it'll take him to get to Yusuke's tower. Mukuro looks toward him.
Mukuro- Why should you ask?
Hiei- I need to go see him.
* Hiei turns to head toward the door.
Mukuro- And how long will you be gone this time?
Hiei- As long as I d--- well please, Woman.. I'm your heir, not one of these teenage lackies.
* Mukuro looks over her shoulder toward him.
Mukuro- I'm starting to worry about you..
Hiei- I know. Don't.
* Hiei continues on his way. When he reaches the main side entry he finds Kirin there. The General has himself propped against the wall next to the wide door.
Hiei- General.
Kirin- I figured you'd be leaving again..
Hiei- This bug makes me claustrophobic.. I'm going to see Lord Urameshi, if you must know every detail of my life as well.
Kirin- Will you need an escort?
Hiei- Do I ever? Just continue your duties.. Open the door so I can get out of here.
* Kirin taps the large button between himself and the doorway. When the thick, wide door is open enough Hiei leaps up the ribbed treads and blinks out through the opening. Kirin shakes his head, hits the button again to close the door, then moves away.
