I have to say I think I got the most interesting review ever today, and I want to address it and get an overall opinion, because I think she brought up a very valid point…

She said, to summarize, that I may be losing my plot by drawing this story on for too long. I’m going to reply, and then I want you all to tell me your honest opinions. Fanfiction is probably the only arena of my art that I will be willing to give you all the chance to dictate the pace at which this story is going.

I read your review and was simply struck by the brutal honesty in it. Thank you. I am an aspiring author in earnest, and therefore require to be told when my art doesn’t work to its best. This is not to say I wish to be flamed (you didn’t do this thankfully) but when you or any of the readers have a valid concern you wish to put forward, please do.

To point out first, by nature I’m a novelist. My stories are often long with multiple plot facets to them, which I suppose may not always be appropriate in the realm of fanfiction. Still, this is how I write, and why poetry and short stories are not my area of expertise. Still, I understand what you are addressing in your review, and am now reconsidering the path I’d planned to take with this piece.

To Everyone:

Do you agree with Tanya’s sentiment? Is the story starting to lag for you? There are probably about 5 major plot elements I’m juggling right now, and I’m willing, if this is your opinion to drop some of the balls (metaphorically of course ~_^).

At this point in the story, YOU are into your second month of a three month long pregnancy. There’s still the issue of becoming an Alpha to contend with, and several other things. My intention was for this piece to be finished in about 25-30 chapters. That may seem a lot, it is, but I’ve certainly come across longer. Honestly I could wrap this up in two chapters maybe…but not to anyone’s satisfaction, least of all mine.

Or perhaps is it a lack of humor as of late? Would that clear things up?

I really need to know what my readership thinks of this. If I’m losing you, let me know, and try to tell me why. I’ll do my best to adjust this fic, without sacrificing its integrity.
