Scene 11
Tachimaru, thanks for the wonderful words! I appreciate that you enjoy my work. As far as the Captured series there’s four parts to that saga. I hope you like it. :o)
Poh, like I said, I’m not going to have any heavy stuff between Hiei and his children while they’re this young. I didn’t put that twist in there because I have any pedophlian tendencies or because I think harm on any child. It was just another angsty hurdle for our Fire demon to encounter. Just feel I need to make that point clear, not to be grouchy.

Scene 11 -------------- The River Hut
* Hiei moves past the three brothers, keeping guard outside, and into the large hut. Loreen growls and starts to stand from the couch but Chevaux pulls her back down.
Chevaux(Quietly)- Not now, ‘Reenie. Please.
* Loreen settles herself. Hiei relaxes.
Hiei- Is the healer here with her?
Chevaux- He arrived just before you did, Master.
* Sarista and Trinka enter and Hiei waves them toward the thick curtained doorway.
Hiei- She’s in the second bedroom down that hallway.
* Sarista nods and they hurry through the curtain. Hiei turns and starts toward the kitchen.
Loreen- She’s.. in a lot of.. pain.
* Hiei stops and turns back to look at the two females curiously.
Hiei- Why are you two not in there with her?
* Chevaux half glances toward the Leopardess.
Chevaux- Tachi asked us to stay out here.. She said my.. nervousness would further upset Garni.. And we know how Loreen’s been.
* The Leopardess lays her ears back and scowls at the Horse demoness. Chevaux looks away. Hiei rolls his eyes and moves to sit in one of the armchairs. For the next hour nobody breaks the silence. The time is spent by Hiei with his jagan open behind the ward monitoring the agonizing birth that’s taking place. When the baby boy is finally born Hiei relaxes for a moment until he feels something disturbing. Garnetia’s life energy is starting to drop. Chevaux and Loreen look up when their Alpha stands.
Hiei- No!
* They glance at each other sadly when Hiei blurs through the curtain. He enters the bedroom where Sarista and the village healer are both trying frantically to keep the young demoness alive. Hiei ignores the ugly scene of blood that is silent evidence of the ordeal that just took place. He moves to the bed and nudges Sarista aside gently. When she sees that he has his bandana off and the jagan is wide open she looks at the village healer. The feline hybrid is starting to become quite enamored by the glowing third eye.
Sarista- Don’t look at his third eye, cat.
* The healer jolts, glances at the Fire demoness, then lowers his eyes nodding. Hiei ignores them to concentrate on communicating with Garnetia.
(#) Hiei- No. You will stop this game, Girl! I know you can heal yourself!
(#) Garnetia- If I.. stay.. you won’t mark him as I’ve.. asked..
(#) Hiei- You know very well why I won’t..
(#) Garnetia- Mark.. him.
* Hiei growls and shakes his head.
(#) Hiei- It’s not necessary!
(#) Garnetia- Then I’ll do.. what I have to.. to make it.. necessary.
* Hiei leans on the bed closer to her.
(#) Hiei- Do not force me to..
(#) Garnetia- Promise to.. mark him.
(#) Hiei- If I give in with you.. the others will ask the same.
* Hiei opens his true eyes to glance up at Tachimaru. The weary Tigress slowly nods to assure him of his assumption.
Tachimaru- You may not understand now.. But someday you will if their sires learn of them and come to confront you.
* Hiei sighs with exasperation and closes his true eyes again. He feels Garnetia growing weaker because of her loss of blood. The village healer shakes his head and steps back.
Healer- She’s fighting us.. I don’t understand.
(#) Hiei- The only reason this paranoia exists with all of you is because of your d--- hormones! I will not cave to this. Now, either you start healing yourself or I will use my jagan to drag you out.. Do you hear me, Jackal?!
* For several tense moments he gets no response. Then he slowly relaxes when he feels her energy begin to swirl inside her, but only enough to stabilize herself.
(#) Hiei- Garnetia, trust me.. I know these two guys. They’re not demons that are ruled by the same low instincts as the rest of the males in this h---hole of a region.
Tachimaru- She had a dream the other night.. When Garni dreams we all pay attention.
* Hiei shakes his head. He feels his instincts niggling at him to come to some kind of a compromise to set his new females at ease. But he decides to try a different strategy.
(#) Hiei- Garnetia, listen to me. I don’t want to use my jagan on you in this weakened state.
(#) Garnetia- They will know.. that they’re not.. yours.. Jealousy will lead to many.. conflicts.. when you try to.. bring them under sub-jection.
(#) Hiei- I have no intentions of bringing them under subjection.
* Finally Sarista decides she’s stood by long enough. She leans to touch Garnetia’s hand.
Sarista- My name is Sarista. I’m your current Alpha Female. Now you listen to me, young lady. Master Hiei has given us many children, but he has made it well known to us all that he refuses to mark even his own true children.
* Sarista half glances toward Hiei, but decides not to go into the situation concerning River and Higama at this time. Sarista watches the weakened demoness scrunch her brows a moment. Then finally Hiei nearly collapses from relief when he feels the Jackal’s energy increase greatly. He moves back away from the bed and puts his bandana back into place. Sarista feels the young girl’s decline reversing steadily and looks toward Hiei. She watches him move around the bed to where Trinka is holding the newborn, trying to comfort him. Hiei reaches out and moves the blanket so he can look at the baby boy. The Mazoku tattoos are starting to fade, but he can still make them out. The small face that’s currently fussing rather displeasedly is nearly a perfect copy of Yusuke’s. Tachimaru comes over.
Tachimaru- If this baby is this strong.. we can only imagine how strong his sire must be.
Hiei- Yusuke Urameshi is a Quest class, Tiger.. But he was raised as a human. He’s a Mazoku. Do you know what that is?
Tachimaru- Not really.
Hiei- I’ll explain it sometime later. Just believe me when I tell you that I have nothing to fear from neither him nor..
* He moves one of his hands over to touch her swollen belly.
Hiei- Youko Kurama.
* When Tachimaru nods and moves away a bit nervously Hiei half smirks after her then looks back down at the fussing baby boy. With a soft grunt he lays his hand on the shaggy head. For a brief moment he feels as if he’s made some kind of contact with Yusuke. But it fades away quickly. The Koorime drops his hand and turns to look back toward the bed. Sarista nods toward him again.
Sarista- She’s still recovering.. slowly.
Hiei- Hn. She’ll be fine now.
* With everything settled now Hiei shakes his head and leaves the room. He shields his thoughts so none of his mates will feel his own lingering concerns about the future.
