Hiei's Harem: Pt. 7 - Consequences

Usagili, I'm thrilled that you like my other stories. I can't really comment too much on them, though, because right now I'm lucky to be able to work on this series. Things with this old standby computer are tenuous at best. If I suddenly disappear and don't update for a while it will probably be because the old thing finally gave out. For now, I'm just going to submit as much as I can when I can and just keep knocking on the simulated wood of my 'puter desk. :o)

Scene 11 ------------ Later That Day


* Shishi, Touya, and Suzuka look up when two blue-robed demons and Kuchki approach their cage. Touya and Suzuka stand when the door is opened and a woozy Kurama is shoved inside. They immediately hurry to the redhead, neither paying any mind to the door that's been re-closed and locked. Kuchki and the two assistants then leave. Shishi finally crawls over to join the others.


Shishi- Kurama?

Suzuka- They've drugged him.. We need to give him time to recover.


* Shishi looks toward Touya.


Shishi- Now, Touya.. Get us out of here..


* Touya places one of his hands over Shishi's mouth and glances around.


Suzuka- What about Yusuke?

Touya- They were warded the same as we are.. See?


* Touya indicates the scrolled tattoo on Kurama's chest and down his arms.


Touya- We have no idea really what all this warding will do.. It's obviously keeping Kurama in his human form.

Shishi- That royal brat of a godling can break these wards.. Right?

Touya- Maybe, but we should wait for Kurama to recover.

Suzuka- I have to agree with Touya, Shishi.. Let's just calm down and keep up appearances as we have been.. We need to find out what they've done with Yusuke.

Shishi- To h--- with Urameshi! I need to get my baby out of here!!

Touya- Will you quiet down? You don't want to bring any attention to us before we can use the device.


* Although he was drugged so he could be handled, Kurama can still hear his mates. He reaches around with his hands until he gets ahold of an arm. His flailing around, though, has revealed his main problem to them.


Kurama- Wh-what.. are you.. talking about?

Touya- Kurama?


* Touya quickly places his other arm around Kurama to embrace him protectively. Shishi waves one of his hands in front of Kurama's unfocused eyes. When the action gets no response Shishi collapses back on his rear stunned. Suzuka looks away. Touya growls at them both.


Touya- It doesn't matter to us!

Shishi- O-ohh, Ku-rama.. What did they.. do to you?


* Shishi crumbles forward and embraces Kurama's waist. Suzuka clutches Kurama's shoulder.


Suzuka- Did they make Urameshi do this to you?!


* Touya rolls his eyes, wondering what in the world Suzuka is talking about. Kurama reaches up to grasp Suzuka's hand as he shakes his head.


Kurama- W-wasn't.. Yusuke..

Touya- Don't you guys remember the d--- flash bomb those b------s hid in Yusuke's clothes?


* Suzuka looks at Touya.


Suzuka- Shouldn't he have healed from that by now?


* Touya strokes one of Kurama's bared arms. Suzuka gets the message.


Suzuka- Oh.. D---..

Kurama- Where.. is Y-Yusuke?

Touya- We don't know.. You need to rest and let the drug work out, Kurama.

Kurama- We're not.. leaving Yusuke..

Suzuka- Shh, okay, Darlin'.. Calm down..

Touya- We'll discuss this more when your head is clearer.

Shishi- I'm just so glad that we're back together now! Baby has missed you soo much!


* They help Kurama sit down on one of the thin mattresses. Shishi then snuggles closer to him, curling as much of himself around Kurama as he can. The redhead puts his arms around Shishi and hides his face in his blue hair. The samurai's scent helps to calm him down. Touya relaxes and looks at Suzuka. The blonde shrugs and settles down on the other side of Kurama to wait for his Alpha to sober up.
