Scene 11
We got some rainy weather coming in and that will not be good on my arthritis, so I'm getting a few of these up to keep you busy. :o) Don't forget to review anyway.

Scene 11 -------------- Two Days Later
* Alaric's navigator looks up to glance out the large front windows of the mobile fortress. When he spots a small dark form appear several feet ahead he tilts his head. When the lumbering bug-shaped vehicle gets closer the small figure keeps leaping backward. Suddenly, the young navigator recognizes the cloaked demon that is hopping backward to stay out from under the fortress.
Navigator- Stop all engines!
* The order startles the rest of the control room staff. General Kirin hurries over. When he looks out the windows the short, dark demon stops cursing and looks up to give Kirin a more visual display of his aggitation. The General leans on the counter and presses an intercom button.
Kirin- Open the d--- door and let our lost black sheep in.. Lord Mukuro, Lord Hiei has just intercepted us.
* The speaker crackles static for only a second.
Mukuro- Tell that little b------ to report to my office immediately!
* Before she even finishes the order Kirin turns to face his diminutive superior.
Kirin- Welcome back..
Hiei- Who is driving this d--- junkpile?!
* The young navigator freezes as everyone else looks toward him. Hiei blinks over to loom behind him.
Hiei- Were you sleeping?!
Navigator- N-No, Sir.. I.. I didn't.. recognize you.. at f-first..
* Hiei jackslaps the demon, then turns to leave grumbling about 'poor-sighted, recently-weaned idiots'.
Kirin- Lord Hiei,..
* Hiei pauses at the door to look back at the General.
Kirin- Welcome back.. Lord Mukuro has missed you.
Hiei- Hn.. I'll bet she did.
* Hiei turns away rolling his eyes and blinks away. The young navigator raises his head cautiously.
Navigator- A-am I.. s-still alive?
Kirin- Yes.. It seems that Lord Hiei isn't the only one who's gotten lucky recently.
* Everyone in the room looks up at the General. Kirin clears his throat and turns away from their scrutinization.
