chap 11
Chap. 11 First fights
They stood now in front of the arena looking over at their opponents. The announcer stood in the ring getting ready to state the rules, “Ok ladies and gentlemen the fights will go as followed, two teams of seven, will fight until one of the teams wins four of the seven possible fights or until all opponents are dead. Ok will the team captains approach the ring to discuss any special conditions.” The captains said, “No just one on one fighting until one of the teams loses.”
The first opponent to step up was a shadow demon. Everyone could feel the wicked vides coming from Adrean has she stalked up to the ring. “He’s mine!” She said has she entered the ring. The two fighters looked upon each other for several long moments before Adrean turned her back to him. “What are you doing? He’s going to attack you.” Kuwabaka yelled. Both Karry and Synco burst into fits of laughter. “He’s already dead.” Adrean stated coldly as she heard her opponent object. There was a sudden silence before a loud pop was heard and the audience was showered in blood. “AHHHH, what the hell was that?” Kuwabaka yelled as Adrean hopped off the stage. “Me winning.” Adrean stated as she sat down against the wall.
The next opponent walked into the ring, well more like crawled. The opponent was shorter than Hiei. “I’ll take this one.” Hiei stated jumped into the ring. “Remember nothing fancy fire fuck.” Adrean yelled as she propped her head onto her knee. Hiei gave one of his infamous hn’s as he glared at her. His opponent fell just as quickly as Adrean’s did but with out the large blood shower for the audience. The third opponent step into the ring looking at Kuwabaka before burst into laughter. “This punk is mine” Kuwabaka yelled as he practically tripping into the ring. “That’s it Kuwabaka that will drive fear into their hearts, Did you have a nice fall would you like another trip?” Karry said just as Adrean tossed something at her head while saying “Shut up.”
Watching Kuwabaka fight though not very inspiring did help to lighten the tension that seemed to swallow the team. “You lost to a little girl.” Shizuru yelled as she stomped the shit out of her brother. Karry jumped up and said, “I will take the next one.” And ran into the ring before the other team has a chance to decide who was next. The next opponent to walk into the ring was a water demon and Karry got all excited about it. As the battle rage on, Adrean yelled to Karry, “Karry, you ass, stop playing with him and just get it over with already.” Karry just smile at that comment and walked up to him innocently hit him so hard in the chest that blood came out the back. The announcer stated, “Wow the women on the Mask Team are really vicious.” Yusuke said, “Wow I might not have to fight this time.” “Well I guess I will take the last one.” Kurama stated as he walked into the ring and awaited his opponent. He ended the battle quickly not wanting to waste time with it.
