Scene 10
These three scenes had to come fast and together. Have fun catching up. LOL :o)

Scene 10 ---------------- Spirit World
* When Kurama enters he finds Yusuke and Koenma in a yelling match.
Yusuke- Kurama has every right to know that Hiei’s taken a Human mate!
Koenma- It’s nobody else’s business, Yusuke!
Kurama- A Human? You must be mistaken. Hiei would never.. Would he?
* They both look toward Kurama.
Yusuke- Well, I just came from Genkai’s. That’s where Hiei’s put her.. And she’s very pregnant to him.
* Kurama looks toward Koenma with an eyebrow quirked questioningly.
Kurama- There must be a very good explanation, sir.. Are you going to bring some kind of action against him?
* Yusuke glares back at Koenma.
Yusuke- From what Kuwa told me, if you do I’ll declare war on your a--!
* The Kitsune shakes his head and moves to sit down on the nearby couch.
Kurama- Neither of you will ever change.
* Yusuke turns his attention back toward Kurama.
Yusuke- You can go ahead and sit there all calm and collected.. You probably know more than I do.. In fact, I know that you know something I’ve been forced to forget.
* Koenma’s anger slowly dissipates to nervous confusion.
Koenma- Wha-..?
Yusuke- After you left I turned the monitor back on, Genius.
Koenma- Yu-Yusuke,..
* Yusuke turns and moves away. Kurama and the godling exchange glances.
Yusuke- Hiei and that guy he was with were having a very interesting.. conversation.
* Yusuke turns to look at Kurama again. The Kitsune does his best to keep his expression stoic. But the Toushin can sense his nervousness spiking.
Yusuke- I came to see you because it seems you might be the one that can fill me in.. Junior sure isn’t going to.. And as for Hiei..
Kurama- Concerning..?
* Yusuke moves over closer to Kurama.
Yusuke- Concerning what memories Hiei’s stolen from me.. He said something about some demon named Matsa-something.
* Yusuke watches Kurama’s control wane at the mention of the name. Kurama looks away and gets a faraway look in his golden eyes. The reaction startles Yusuke to silence. It’s not very often that something upsets his Kitsune friend so openly. Koenma comes over to touch the Toushin’s arm.
Koenma- Yusuke, please.. Trust me.. You don’t want to press this.
* Something in Koenma’s tone further serves to spook Yusuke. He looks at the Teen.
Koenma- Hiei did what was best.. Please, just leave it alone.
* Yusuke looks back down at Kurama. It’s obvious to him that the Kitsune’s not going to speak. Quietly, Yusuke decides not to press any further and moves away. Koenma waves toward George and a new portal opens.
Koenma- Just go home now, Yusuke.
* Yusuke looks back toward the couch.
Yusuke- Kurama, I..
* Kurama flinches slightly and lays his ears flat against his head. Yusuke swallows then turns and goes through the portal. Koenma bends to lay a hand on Kurama’s shoulder.
Koenma- Leave it in the past, Kurama.. You had no control over what Matsua did.
Kurama- I.. I never.. told them.. everything.. They were sedated and..
Koenma- There’s no reason to tell them anything. I don’t think he had any time to do anything..
* Kurama looks up at Koenma.
Kurama- You don’t.. think?
Koenma- Hiei dessimated that facility. The demon he put in charge of it destroyed all the vials Matsua had stored.. Nothing has shown up in either of your folders.
* Kurama slowly begins to relax.
Koenma- Now just go back home and enjoy your new daughter.
* After a moment, the silver Kitsune stands and turns toward the first portal that remained open.
Koenma- Kurama,.. you must trust me. There can’t be any hostilities between you three now.
Kurama- Hostility? I sensed only hurt and confusion in Yusuke. Why should there be hostility?
Koenma- I can’t reveal everything to you right now. Things are already tense enough between you and Yomi.. It’ll all come to light soon.
* Kurama studies Koenma a moment, then turns to leave.
Kurama- If we both know Yusuke he’s not going to let this go for long.
Koenma- I’ll do what I can to keep him in line.
* Kurama looks back at the Teen.
Kurama- I understand why he came to me.. I am the only one between us that fully knows what happened.. in that room.. How Yusuke refused to take advantage of me.. I will never forget that loyalty.. Nor will I forget Hiei’s actions in destroying Matsua when he learned what took place.. If Yomi presses me much further he will learn this the hard way.
Koenma- I’m glad to hear that, Kurama.. And to answer your question earlier, no action can be taken against Hiei because of the Human girl.. She was already in Demon World before Enki took power.
Kurama- And.. your reason?
Koenma- Because what they did was done with her consent.
* Kurama remains quiet a long moment, then turns and disappears back through the portal to return to his family. Koenma waves toward George again and the portal closes.
