Warning: Oral sex, it’s short

/I swear, Koenma, that if you start bowing before me while in the presence of mortals, I will kick your sorry ass./ Siren growled.
Koenma nearly pissed his pants when the message entered his mind seconds before Botan knocked on the door. The little prince took a few calming breaths to relax the muscles of his body, especially his bladder, though not too much, before requesting them to enter. As they entered, the first thing he noticed was that Kuwabara was quiet, too quiet and distanced himself from the others.
The ogre felt something wasn’t right, but kept his trap shut, he wasn’t suicidal. The tension was way too thick.
Koenma stood on his desk, being in chibi form, “Good job everyone. You wrapped that up much faster then I expected.” He looked at the ogre, “Bring me their compensation.”
George quickly left the room, happy to finally breathe. Siren stood against the wall leaning on Hiei to the right of Koenma’s desk. Kurama and Yusuke were in pretty much the same position to Koenma’s left and Kuwabara stayed by the door. Botan opted to stay outside. The silence in the room was deafening.
“What’s wrong with all of you? You’re usually not this quite. Hell, I expected to hear some complaining.”
“It’s nothing.” Kuwabara answered. “We’re just tired.”
“Bullshit.” Hiei sneered.
“Just leave it alone, Hiei.” Yusuke whispered as he stared at the floor.
“I will not. This human has proved once again what an idiot he is…” Hiei didn’t get to finish his rant.
“That’s enough.” Koenma said, surprised that all Hiei did was glare at him before settling down instead of arguing with him.
Kurama placed his hand on Yusuke’s shoulder for moral support. Hiei just leaned against the wall and crossed his arms, looking completely affronted. Siren met Koenma’s eye.
“So, Hiei, are you going to introduce me to the lovely lady beside you?” There needed to be some noise, the tension was too thick for his liking.
Hiei lowered his arms and addressed Koenma. “This is my wife, Siren.” She bowed.
‘Yep, the Fates are definitely having a field day.’ Koenma thought. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.” /Siren?/ He hoped she was still picking up his thoughts.
/Yes?/ came the response.
/Can you tell Botan to come inside and escort Kuwabara into another room?/ Seconds later Botan came in and took Kuwabara, without a fight, to another room. Koenma had asked Siren to do it because he’s not telepathic.
“Congratulations Hiei…”
“Why did he leave?” Hiei interrupted.
Koenma opened his eyes fully, “I want to talk to him myself later when I’ve seen you off. I want to congratulate all of you on your respective relationships and I hope you will all be happy.”
George timidly knocked, hoping any fireworks that might have gone off were already put out. As he entered, he was happy to see the situation had been defused and everyone was still where they had been, except for Kuwabara. He’d ask when everyone left since he hated to be left in the dark. He gave everyone their pay and left Kuwabara’s on Koenma’s desk. He’s glad it’s mostly paper money they were given, but they’re nice and fat given how much was given per head. Lucky for the five, the prince was loaded, even though it pissed his father off to no end. He still didn’t like Koenma associated with them if he could help it.
“I don’t have any assignments that require your attention, so I’ll bid you all a good evening.” Koenma turned to George. “Take them to the portal for Genkai’s temple.” The Ogre carried the order without hesitation.
Kurama turned to Koenma, “We drove Kuwabara to the temple, but seeing how things are, he’ll have to spend the night at the temple and take the train back.”
“I’ll let him know.” Koenma said in a dismissive tone.
/////////////////////////////////////////
Kuwabara waited impatiently for whatever was going to happen, to happen. After ten minutes, Koenma made his appearance with a bag he guessed was for his trouble.
“Kuwabara, may I talk to you?” The little prince asked and took a seat across from him. They were in the lounge used by the spirit guides, which was currently unoccupied.
“What about?” Kuwabara replied as impatiently as he dared since he hadn’t received his pay yet.
“About Yusuke and Kurama.” Koenma refused to dance around the issue.
“Save it. I’ve already heard enough from Siren. I don’t understand why Urameshi would want to be with another guy.”
“Then may I say one thing to you that I hope will help you understand?”
“Shoot.” He sighed.
“First, do you know what it is to be gay now that the term is no longer used to mean happy?” Koenma was all business.
“It means a guy being into other guys.” Waiting to see where this uncomfortable conversation was headed.
“Yes and no. Do you feel a man that has sex with another man is classified as gay?”
“Yeah, I guess so.” The answer was slow in coming. This wasn’t a topic he’d given a lot of thought about before today.
“Then you don’t know what it means to be gay….”
“Then what does it mean oh mighty one.” He said sarcastically and with great impatience. “Get to the point.”
“If a man sleeps with another man it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s gay. He could just be looking for release or experimenting.” Kuwabara looked ready to retch at the image. “A man who can only form emotional attachments with another man is considered gay. They don’t necessarily have to indulge in sex. Though there are people that swing both ways. I personally think Yusuke is bisexual since he’s found other women attractive and he had formed some emotional attachment to Keiko.”
Kuwabara gave it some thought. He’d noticed during the time at the Dark Tournament Hiei, Kurama and Urameshi had some level of understanding that didn’t really fit with the understanding he had with him. He hadn’t given much thought about there being any romantic connection since Urameshi was already with Keiko, at least on some level. If he looked at Kurama, he could say he’s good looking, for a guy. Personally, he looked a girl and sometimes got mistaken for one too. He also had a fan club at school made of boys and girls. He always thought it was because the guy was so smart that guys wanted to hang out with him and get some attention from the girls. What about Hiei? Did Urameshi have a thing for Hiei too? Well, he’s taken. Was it a demon thing? Kurama said demons would do other guys or girls for the sex. But what Siren said made sense, love had no gender and Urameshi had always been there for Kurama no matter what. It’s still weird though. What about Keiko? Maybe he’d go comfort her since she wasn’t going to marry Urameshi.
Where the hell did that come from? He was thinking too much again. It still didn’t help much.
“…why can’t guys just like girls like everyone else?”
“I’ll tell you a secret. Ready to listen?” He received a nod. “In the back of some peoples’ minds, they know deep down who their soul mate is to some extent. Some feel that the one they’re looking for has dark, long hair or they feel that person has a particular look about them that only they would find attractive. They could even say the one they want is another guy or a girl. It’s a feeling people have. Some chose to fight it and others accept it. Others don’t know at all until they meet the one for them. Male or female! Those that chose to fight it are never truly happy. If people knew that the girl you’re going to marry is a demon, don’t you think that people will look down at you as well? A human in love with a demon! Wouldn’t society want to destroy her for what she is and you for betraying the human race? If Yusuke is truly your friend, don’t you want him to be as happy as you are with Yukina? You both have unique relationships, so don’t go judging other people with a closed mind. Never forget what Yukina is.” As far as he was concerned all relationships were unique, but he wasn’t going to go into any detail.
Kuwabara didn’t answer. Man, he hated all this thinking, gave him a headache. Never forget what Yukina is? Had Koenma put it any blunter he would have felt as if he’d been slapped. “…I won’t forget. It’s just going to be weird for a while.”
“Give yourself some time to think about it. You don’t have to make a decision right away. Don’t rush into anything if it doesn’t feel right. I think Yusuke might have taken the extra time in coming back to the human world to really find himself and see what it was that he really wanted. If Kurama makes him happy, who are we to say different?” Kuwabara just sat there staring into space.
‘It’s going to take awhile for it to sink in and for him to accept if he chooses too. He’d be losing out on a good friend.’ Koenma sighed. “Yusuke and Kurama told me they drove you, but I’m sure it won’t be a problem for you to spend the night at the temple and go home in the morning. Get some rest. You’ll be able to think with a clearer mind.” He received another nod and Kuwabara walked out of the lounge, pay in hand.

“Are you alright, Yusuke?” Kurama asked, concerned.
Yusuke looked up and tried to smile but failed miserably. “Yeah, I’m okay. I think I’ll take a shower then burn my clothes. I don’t remember the last time I was covered in this much blood.” (A/N: Hey, it might not have taken days but it was still a messy job.)
Kurama chuckled. “I’ll take care of your clothes while you shower…that is unless you need me to wash your back.” A sly smile graced his face.
Yusuke looked like he was actually taking that into consideration. “How about after the shower, you give me a back rub?”
End Flashback
////////////////////////////////////////
Kurama laid in bed with Yusuke nestled at his side; head tucked under his chin. When they’d come home, they showered, separately, burned their clothes and he’d given Yusuke a small massage. Unfortunately, it did little to ease Yusuke’s mind.
He knew Yusuke was still awake and still disturbed after the events of that evening. He cursed Kuwabara for being homophobic and Keiko for being so violent. He understood Keiko’s stance, but not Kuwabara’s. He’d known Yusuke well before Kurama ever came into the picture and still, he turned his back on him. Yusuke moved closer to Kurama’s side, practically draping himself over his body.
Yusuke was seeking comfort in Kurama’s warmth, but it didn’t seem to be enough. He lifted his head, supporting himself on his elbows above Kurama and looked into his eyes as if it would give him the answers or reassurance he was looking for. Hesitantly, he lowered his head and kissed Kurama.
Kurama didn’t object, wanting to help Yusuke in whatever way he could, but being mindful not to take advantage of him while emotionally distraught.
Yusuke deepened the kiss in an attempt to drown himself in the warmth that passed over him. He loved Kurama and would do anything for him, but he also cared about his friends. It hurt to be abandoned by two people he’d risked his life for countless times. Pushing all thoughts aside, he moaned as Kurama’s tongue slipped into his mouth and caressed his so lovingly. It was as if Kurama understood what he was going through and was trying to take away the hurt.
Once air became a necessity they parted. Kurama didn’t know what he should do. “Yusuke?”
“I’m sorry.” He whispered.
Kurama shifted his head slightly, “About what?”
“About Kuwabara.” He leaned down and buried his face in Kurama’s neck.
“It’s not your fault.” Kurama held him close. He was fortunate the weather this time of year was quite reasonable or it would’ve been quite uncomfortable holding each other for so long. “He has to understand that love comes in all shapes and Siren told him as much. All we can do is wait.”
“I can’t help it.” He mumbled against the other’s neck. “I saw the look on his face. It was as if he was going to puke any minute.” He held Kurama tighter, trying hard to prevent himself from crying.
Kurama flipped them over and raised a hand to run his fingers threw the youth’s black hair. “You need to put this aside and let them make their own decisions. If it makes you feel better, we can go back to Makai if it becomes uncomfortable for us. You were planning on going back some day.” The last statement sounded more like a question than a statement of fact.
Yusuke calmed down as he took in Kurama’s scent. The weight of the other’s body also added to his peace of mind, knowing he wasn’t alone. After a few moments he nodded. “We’ll wait. And if it doesn’t work out…will you come with me?”
Kurama smiled that special smile reserved only for Yusuke. “Of course I will. Aishiteru, Yusuke. Zutto. (1)” That said, he placed a chastise kiss on those firm lips he was quickly become addicted to.
“Aishiteru mo, ‘Rama. Zutto.” Yusuke whispered.
Nuzzling Yusuke’s throat, “Yusuke, will you let me touch you?”
Said man looked confused. “You are touching me.”
Kurama shook his head; a humored smile graced his lips. He ground his hips into Yusuke’s, eliciting a moan from the one beneath him. Moving his hand down Yusuke’s chest he said, “I want to make you forget about the rest of the world for awhile and show you how much I care.”
“I’m not ready…” Yusuke started to protest.
“I’m not going to make love to you, this isn’t the right time. But let me make you feel good so you’ll sleep better.” In a way it was lovemaking, but he intended to do it with his hands and mouth. He also wanted to take his time, but it had been a very long day.
He pressed kisses along Yusuke’s neck and shoulder; his hand lightly racked the tanned chest, passing over a nipple. Yusuke jumped suddenly and smiled. Moving down his chest with wet kisses, he went for the neglected nipple.
Yusuke shuddered and bit his lower lip. A hand gripped the sheets while the other ran fingers through Kurama’s hair. The shivers and shakes ran across his body, quickly sensitizing his skin and bringing life to his erection. He happily focused on what Kurama was doing to his body, thinking of nothing else but to enjoy.
Kurama made short work of Yusuke’s boxers. He licked his lips at the sight and went in for the kill. Yusuke groaned above him and the grip on his hair tightened, pushing him down to take more of him. The redhead straddled Yusuke’s leg and moaned as he humps it.
The vibrations cause Yusuke to arch into Kurama’s mouth, sending fire down his legs and up his chest. His head turned from side to side as Kurama teased him with his tongue briefly to then suck harder on his shaft. He let himself concentrate on the sensation as it build and focused at one point. A hand moving lower to stimulate his prostate from the outside was all it took and he exploded into the other’s mouth with a loud cry.
Kurama relished the taste of the man beneath him, swallowing all Yusuke had to offer and licked him clean. He rode Yusuke’s leg a little longer and moaned as he came in his pants. His head landed on Yusuke’s stomach just enjoying the heat and smell of Yusuke’s body. He sighed in contentment with the petting strokes to his hair.
“Thank you, ‘Rama.” Yusuke said dreamily.
“You are quite welcomed.” He sighed again and slowly picks himself up to get out of bed. “I’ll be right back.”
He went to the bathroom to clean himself and his pants off. He let those hang dry and headed back to the bedroom. At the door, he smiled at the sleeping form of his boyfriend before sliding in behind him to sleep the day away.

Author’s Notes:
(1) Zutto – always/forever
First, before I continue with this story, a lot of my ideas are based on my love of myths in general not just Greek. Much of my information is from a book called ‘Mythology: Myths, Legends & Fantasies’. It’s a really nice tome for myths around the world. Much about what I’ve said about the Gods is in accordance with the book but I’ve changed a few things (of course) to create my OC. There is no mention of Aphrodite having a child from Adonis but she did sleep with anything that moved (and probably some that didn’t for that matter).
Brief warning incase I mention this and it bothers my readers. The Gods did practice incest, so don’t go wrinkling your nose when the topic comes up. I’ll place a warning on the chapter where it might be mentioned.
Second, Chaos in accordance with my book created not just Gaea (Greek), but Ra (Eygpt) and a few for China. Since I’ve touched ‘Soul Hunter’ which is based off the Chinese story ‘Creation of the Gods’ (Yes, I own those books too) I wanted to let people know that I didn’t/don’t intend to stick with one group of Gods. I’ve also started collecting Hoshin Engi manga.
Third, it’s currently the first half of August (in the story) and the information I got about the weather is taken off of http://www.jma.go.jp It contains information for people wanting to travel to Japan. August is hot and humid in most of Japan. The conditions are more comfortable in higher elevations. This is also a high travel season. The rainy season is over by mid July.
