wanted power

The leaves rustled in the breeze as she passed through the park. Her ankle length skirt swayed in the breeze showing her shapely legs through the spits one each side that reached her upper thigh. The halter top that she wore had large safety pins holding the sides together. Her deep purple hair flowed behind her in the wind, catching on the large choker around her neck that had a large blood red teardrop stone on it. Her eyes were almost the same deep hue as they stared blankly ahead. To look ar, or, one would think she was daydreaming, but to Hiei she seemed dazed. His best friend Kurama noticed the girl and frowned. He saw her arms had small cuts and bruises that were not noticeable to the common person.
“Do you think we should help her?” Kurama asked jumping out of the tree they were in.
“Why would we?” Hiei asked showing no emotion. “She does seem to have large amounts of energy coming from her. Do you think she is a rouge youkai?”
“No.” Kurama said shaking his head. “She goes to my school and shows no interest in anything. She doesn’t wear the proper uniform and is always by herself. Some of the girls are jealous of her because her exotic looks attract the attention of the boys.”
“hn. What do you think?”
“We should help.”
“What ever lets go.” Hiei landed beside Kurama and headed towards the girl.

Saphire Rose noticed the pair following her as she rounded the corner. “Do men ever learn that the one dressed in all black is not the kind of person to be fucking with?” Grabbing her skirt she jumped behind the tree next to her and melted into the shadow on the ground. Kurama and Hiei ran to the tree and looked at each other confused.
“Where did she go?” Kurama asked as Hiei walked ar the the tree.
“Right behind you.” Said a seductive voice behind Hiei. “What do you want from me and why were you following me?” Hiei turned and looked at Saphire and laughed.
“You’re a shadow walker.”
“How did you know that?” Saphire asked annoyed that her secret was out. “No one knows anything about shadow walking.
“Un. Only if you’re a stupid ningen.” Hiei said crossing his arms. “Who are you and what do you want from me?” Saphire asked looking at Hiei and Kurama. She parted her feet and got into a fighting position. “I’ve already been in a fight with my father and really wouldn’t mind kicking your ass to blow of some steam.”
“We don’t want to fight you.” Kurama said holding up his hands. “We just noticed you were distraught and thought we could help.” Saphire sighed and shook her head in disbelief. “Names Saphire I’m sure the pleasure of your company is pleasing but I’ve got to go to work soon and don’t need to be late.” “And what kind of work do you do dressed like that.” Hiei asked looking Saphire up and down. “I work for my father as a dancer.” “If you’re interested why not come to the Blue Lagoon to night and visit.” Saphire smiled as she melted back into the shadows. “Isn’t that the big strip joint?” Kurama asked looking at Hiei.
“How should I know your disgusting human customs?” Hiei asked walking away. “Why not get Yusuke and the baka to come with us and see this Saphire dance.”
